Jose walked upto the greenhouse to see if the proffesor needed any help with watering the plants of things like that. Jose was very good at watering dangerous plants he has his apron and gloves on and when there was no reply to his knock he went into the greenhouse. Jose decided to eater green house three and with his gloves on started to put plants in pots and also he started to water some of the plants that he thought needed them, He hoped the proffesor wouldn't mind. He was very careful with how much soil and water he put in the pots. He had always liked growing plants at home. He remembered the buetiful guarden he had at home.

Remy goes office door and knocks. He's there to help with the plants. He is very gifted with growing things. He checks to make sure he has his apron and gloves. Hearing no reponse in the office he decides to check the greenhouses to see if he can locate either the professor or a task list for the student workers.

Finn had been wandering the grounds of the school and after a while headed into the greenhouse. He had plenty of free time now and so decided that if he helped out here, perhaps it would help him keep his mind from other things.

He entered the third one, as it seemed fairly well crowded with plants of a green color. He hoped that lack of color meant less danger. He had had trouble his second year with some especially aggressive plants.

He found a pair of gloves by the door, put them on and saw potting soil laid to the side. He picked up the bag and wandered the greenhouse gently refilling pots that seem to need it. The work was calmly soothing to him as his mind wandered to another garden.

Remy didn't find the Herbology professor so he decided to just to do a bit of cleaning. He walked over to rakes and began to rake up clippings and leaves from the dirt floor. He worked careful because 4 years of Herbology had taught him to do so. He knew magical plants had minds of their own at times. At the end of each row, Remy used a shovel to pick up the cuttings and leaves, when the wheelbarrow was full he pushed it to compost pile to dump it into the growing heap. When he finished with all the rows, he dumped the last load then using a pitchfork he turned the new material into the composting material. As he worked the stress from the current school set up faded into the background of his thoughts.

Sho wandered into one of the greenhouses and looked around. Did it come? If not, he'd be missing two things he figured would always be there. Hopefully that little glimmer would show itself... that is if the professor had had time to transplant them.

"Dang blasted new school..." he said, putting his hands on his hips.

Remy put away the tools he had used to clean the floor in the first greenhouse. He removed his apron and gloves, after shaking off most of the loose dirt he stuffed them into his book bag. Using a nearby basin filled with water for after class hand washing, he cleaning his hands and forearms then bending over he splashed water onto his face. He smiled because the cool water felt good. Look down at his watch he realized he was out of time so he grabbed his things and left

Finn finished his resoiling and not having seen anyone in this particular greenhouse, he headed out.

Jose continued to rewater the plants and repot those that seemed like they needed repotting he was alway very careful when he did.

Travis stopped walking and found himself at the Greenhouses. He looked to his left and saw a small Victorian-style building. I wonder if the Professor's office is located there...

He shrugged and entered one of the greenhouses. Herbology had never caught his interest, but seeing as it was one of his courses, he decided to see what to expect.

Potted plants, both mundane and exotic filled the house. He had never seen most of the plants before.

Suddenly hungry, he reached into his pocket and took out an orange-flavored lollipop. Just as he was about to put the sweet in his mouth, a large, green, rough-looking, tentacle reached out and snatched it from his hand.

Travis yelped and ran away from the greenhouses as fast as he could.

"This one looks good," Eddy declared, yanking open the door of the second greenhouse. He stepped back and held the door open for the assorted fellows who'd all traipsed out there at the behest of Cale. "Step right in, gentlemen," Eddy invited.

Cale was through the door before Eddy finished his sentence. "Excellent! Oh look - a Fanged Geranium- stay away from him boys, he looks hungry."

He bounced in a circle looking for the pile of dirt for repotting. "Ah - this way." He took off not even bothering to see if the boys behind him where following. He stopped in front of the pile of dirt. "Oooo...Dr. Fillibuddy's extra strength growth dirt! This is going to be great!"

Jose finished doing what he was doing and started on something else.

Stepping around Conway, who seemed to be a perpetually slow-mover, Eddy dodged the boy-eating geranium and something else that was dripping slime (never a good sign) to join Cale beside a pile of dirt. At least, it looked like dirt to Eddy. Cale seemed to think he'd found the Holy Grail. Eddy's right eyebrow raised, dubiousness in the arch of every hair.

"S'pose we need a pot, right?" Did anything look appropriately pot-like? Eddy envisioned something in terracotta, slightly chipped.

Cale produced a few pots from under his arm. "Pots we have ol' buddy, ol' chap." He patted Eddy on the shoulder and then started rummaging around for some shovels. It took him a few minutes in which he disappeared behind a large viney plant. "Hand spades. Enough for all of us." He handed one to Eddy and to Conway before sticking his own into the dirt. "So, Eddy, tell me what plants you worked with back in Yankee-land."

"Uh...green ones." Eddy examined the spade. A mini shovel, it seemed. Shrugging, Eddy likewise plunged his spade into the pile of dirt. The towering mound was transferred to a waiting pot. Mostly. Significant amounts landed on either side of the pot.

Unperturbed, Eddy proceeded to fill up his pot. "So what now?" This was easy. Why hadn't Herbology ever been this easy?

"Now comes the fun part- hey. Watch the dirt. It goes in the pot not on the floor." One moment Cale's head was above the table, next he was bellow it cleaning up what Eddy had dropped. He tossed some over Eddy getting his sleeves a little dirty in the process. A hand wiped a forehead leaving a streak of dirt there as his rather large brown eyes searched the room for Conway. "Hey Conway! Bulbs man - bulbs!"

Conway seemed to have disappeared among the rows of plants. "I'll find him," Eddy volunteered, spearing his dirt-filled pot with the spade.

"Yo, Con? Where'd you go?" Eddy pushed through some large leafy things that obscured the path. The great adventurer Willie Walker blazes a path througth the Amazon Forest in hot pursuit of the long lost cannibal pixie tribe...

Emerging on the other side, Eddy found not a tribe of cannibal pixies but a very tidy row of smelly plants. "Hm....that smells like the kitchens..." Eddy wandered over and shoved his nose into the nearest fragrant mini-bush.

Eddy's disappearance into the foliage gave Cale some time to inspect Eddy's handy work. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't perfect either. He quickly packed the dirt down a little then scoped out a hole in the middle for one of his bouncing bulbs. "Hey Ed- might wanna watch the plants. If he's got a Fanged Geranium in here - there's no telling what else is potted around!"

Eddy sneezed into the plant as the pungent odor filled his nostrils and tickled him with devilish glee. Cale's warning was lost in the deafening sound of his own nose explosion.

"Say, I know what this is..." Eddy yanked a few of the leaves off the plant.

"Hey! HEY! Cale!" Eddy shouted over the jungle separating him and his companion(s). In his excitment he was hopping around on one foot and waving the soft plant tendrils above him. "I found basil! Basil! Ha, ha, ha!"

"You found - what?" Cale was busy filling up another pot with soil. Basil, apparently Eddy found a nice herb for spaghetti. "That's great Ed. It's great for pasta dishes." He hummed to himself.

"No, no!" Eddy pushed his way back through the jungle leaves. "I have basil!" Eddy waved it in Cale's face with meaningful jiggles. "Like me! Basil...Basilthorne...see?" A cock-eyed grin tweaked all Eddy's features.

"Oh." Cale's eye were following the leafy plant. "OH Basil hahaha! Funny. Very funny!" He waved a dirty spade at Eddy getting a bit of potting soil on the ground. It would be forgotten about and tread upon later by the boys only to be tracked back up to their god-offal-white common room with the plastic seat covers.

"I wonder if they have any kale," Eddy joked, eyes lit with mischeviousness. There was fun in this, he just knew it - one simply had to strike upon just the right notion and it would be genius!

"That would probably be outside in the gardens or in a colder greenhouse. It does better in cooler climates." He sniffled and then stuck his spade back into the pots. "You know, we should go check out the flowers in the garden one day. I wonder if they'd have a monkshood I could transplant..." Cale's thoughts wandered off to his promise to get Professor Vindictus some plans for his office.
