While normally, entering the room, she would have been surprised at how the room looked different from how she would have imagined from their old Defense against the dark arts classroom, but with how different everything else was it wasn't a shocker. "Hello Professor, how are you?" Savannah greeted, a small polite smile in place on her lips as she went and took a seat.

Allie walked into the classroom.
"Hello, Professor, I'm Allie." she said with a smile, and took her seat.

Rapunzel wandered into DADA, surprised at the transformation of the room. It looked like a huge...hall, or something. Weird.

Shaking her blonde head slowly, Punz slipped into a seat next to Vannah and gave the Prefect a smile.

Desdemonda walked into class and took a seat. "Hello, Professor," she nodded in greeting, smiling.

Tomasina walked into the room this was her first ever defense against the dark arts class. She saw some other girls already there, but she didn't know who they were. "Hi Professor," she greeted wondering where a good place was to sit.

This was Issy's favorite class. Or one of them, to be fair. As she walked into the room, though, she found herself utterly bewildered. Where were all the desks. What was this? Blinking, she eyed the Professor who... was dressed in formal robes...

"Headmistress Rae?" she asked, cautiously, as she walked into the room. "Erm... Defense Against Dark Arts is taking place... right? In here... or am I in the wrong room? She looked around, over her shoulder, and wondered if she'd walked into some weird meeting.

Even still, she took a couple careful steps towards the table, touching the back of one of the chairs.

The first thouht Ari had as she walked into the DADA classroom was, huh? as she looked around in wonder at the long table with chairs. She shrugged, not surprised at anything anymore and turned to greeet the Headmistress with a warm smile, "Hello professor!" she turned and spotted Vannah. Walking over to the fifth year "Hey Vannah!" she exclaimed cheerfully and stopped the urge to hug her before turning to look in the professors direction, wondering what kind of class they would be having.

Steelsheen walks into the DADA room, and nodded to the Headmistress in acknowledgement "Greetings Professor" she said as she entered.

"Don't bother to sit down yet, ladies. We have some formalities before we can sit at the table. I would like you to line up along the far wall until everyone has arrived," she tapped her toe, but her expression was a bit dreary. "And yes... this is the Defense classroom."

Sam followed after her cousin into the classroom and took a seat towards the middle of the classroom. Unlike Savannah, she was being less sociable. She set down her bookbag and sat down. Playing with a loose string of her hair, she waited patiently for the lesson to begin. As Headmistress Rae said to line up, she got up from her seat and walked over to the wall. She then wondered what she had in store for them. She then saw Ari, and gave her a smile and a wave.

Allie got up and went to line up at the far wall, like instructed.

Walking into the classroom, Juniper paused to take in the appearance of the room. She quickly remembered that she was in the way of other students and moved out of the way. "Hello, Professor," she said with a smile as she walked over to the wall.

This was not reassuring. Headmistress Rae looked... upset? Unahppy? Stepping back from the chair, Issy glanced around the girls, seeing if any of her friends had yet arrived, before heading for the way they were directed to. Cautiously, she pressed up against it, smoothing out of her skirt as a way to distract her for now. Already, ideas were working in her mind. Was this something by the Ministry? Something bad? Her tummy fluttered - why did the Professor look so upset?!

Kayla entered the classroom and was a little surprised at the change. "Good day Professor" she said as she entered and lined up against the wall with the others.

Oh, never mind! Not supposed to sit down yet... Rapunzel winced at her impoliteness and went towards the wall. This was certainly an unusual way to begin class....were they going to be divided some more? Great.

Desdemonda nodded once and stood obediently, strutting over to the wall and standing against it, wondering what this was all about. In past terms, DADA hadn't been like this... perhaps it had something to do with all the changes this term....?

Steelsheen heeded the Headmistress' instructions as she headed towards the far wall.

Laylee entered the Defense classroom and looked around, and she smiled weakly at Headmistress Rea. "Godd morning Professor!" She said, trying to sound enthusiastic. And, well, she was excited! Something she could finall enjoy! She loved learning and magic, and this was the first lesson she was to attend.
Laylee made her way to the far wall as other girls were lining against it. She leaned against it and put her bag down infront of her.
There werent that many students that had arrived yet...
She studdied the long room, wondering what was going to happen this class period...

"Hey Ari," Savannah greeted, eying the Ravenclaw with a curious look. She was very..happy, today. Waving a silent hello to her fellow Hufflepuff whom joined her, ocean blue eyes traveled from her dear friends to the headmistress. Okay then She thought, rather puzzled by this.

Standing, she shifted her messenger bags strap on her shoulder and followed Sam over to the wall, lining up like everyone else.

Walking into the DADA classroom with her bag at her side Alexis gave a confused look. This was the right place wasn't it? Shrugging she noticed Ari and Vannah and waved to them"Hey guys."Hi Prof!" She added. Then she walked over to the wall lining up like they were told.

Ashley, lined up with her classmates, and wated for further instructions

Gem skipped into the classroom, whistling a cheery, out-of-tune song under her breath. From inside her backpack, a toad slept soundly, hidden amongst the piles of parchment and other miscellanea that resided in the Ravenclaw's bag. Though she was missing Hogwarts now more than ever, and though she'd give her left hand for her threadbare spot on the old Common Room rug, and she'd give her right hand to see her cousin, the golden-eyed witch was beginning to get used to Belle's. Maybe this was because she and her small group of friends were resisting the idea of Hogwarts changing, and was doing everything in their power to right the wrong. Maybe it was the busywork that kept her from pining to hard. Maybe it was simply because it was in her nature to be optimistic. She shrugged, and continued inside the classroom, blinking as she registered the change. Another alteration to Hogwarts- or rather- Belle’s, was there were always surprises to be had. Usually dreadful ones. “Hello Professor!” She piped, before taking her place along the wall, her eyebrows hidden in her bangs as she raised them in bafflement.

Melina entered the classroom holding her bag on her two hands. It was time for another lesson and hopefully in this one, she'd learn a spell or two! Oh, how she'd like that! In all of her classes so far, pretty much all she had learnt was theory and even though she loved theory, it wouldn't hurt to have a little bit of practice. Besides, from what she had read, this one particular subject seemed to have a lot of wands involved, so as to speak.

However, once she stepped into the room, she couldn't help but blink. Why was the professor wearing formal robes? And... didn't that classroom look weird?

Blinking, the first year gulped and looked around in search of one of her friends. Thankfully, she quickly spotted Issy and, without thinking twice, set off towards her. "Is... is this normal?" She asked her friend in a whisper once she reached her, though her eyes were looking at everything but the girl.

Amelia walked into the defense classroom ready for the first lesson; at least there was another familiar professor teaching this one. She glanced around and eventually settled on standing nearby Rapunzel, who was by a Slytherin girl. Smiling at the two of them, she waited for instructions as to why they were standing instead of sitting.
