Maddox listened to jason's concern and replied with, "But since we, as humans, transfigure ourselves, and animals tend to be smarter then we think, i really dont think it would harm them. Especially since it doesnt harm us."

"That's true, but animals have a different metelbollic structure than we do," Jason said. "So it might affect them differently from us."

Cale rolled his eyes. The professor was obviously blind, since they had been debating this thing for a while now. Granted, they weren't taking it seriously, but was anyone, really? "Well, erm...what if you're dealing with a wizard who doesn't know what they're doing? Many of us in class have taken a few tries or so to get Transfiguration spells right--don't you think that during those unsuccessful attempts, where anything is possible, it's possible that they're hurting the animals as well?"

Pssh. This whole thing was a load of rubbish.

Tancred rolled his eyes at the exact same time Cale did. Something was really wrong with Richardson. Was he blind? Deaf? A complete nutter? If he had been paying any attention at all, he would've noticed that he and Cale had been debating far much more than anyone else. ... Well, they had more to say than from what little whispers he had heard from everyone else's debates. Even though they weren't taking this whole debate thing seriously, they were still debating nevertheless. Stupid git. He must be taking lessons from Thornybutt.

"Well, as always, there will be a supervisor in the classroom at all times when it comes to practices of transifugration spells on animals," the Hufflepuff said as a matter-of-factly. "If someone was to make a mistake with the transformation, I'm sure that the supervisor would stop whatever he or she is doing for the animal's sake. Like any classroom, there will always be someone there to take control and maintain order." Unless you're a Ministry employee that has no idea what he or she is doing.

He rolled his eyes again. "This is rubbish," he muttered under his breath, just loud enough so that only Cale could hear him if he was listening hard enough. "Rubbish. Rubbish. Rubbish."

Nicholai waited for a moment, watching the professor carefully.

Nodding in satisfaction as the professor fell asleep, Nico turned to Barry.

"Her name is Celandine, why do you ask?" The Professor may have been asleep but he wasn't about to draw any attention to himself. Really it was a perfect chance to do some actual revision; Nico opened his Transfiguration book and began to flick through it, waiting for Barry's response.

"Welll you said it they are animals.. How can we be sure if they do feel something when we transfigure them, maybe the spell or charm doesn't do any kind of damage to them. And again how will they have a saying they are animals... I guess that the charm isn't that damaging" Ray replied.

"I`m ah curious. Wondering if I knew her" said Barry "Do you anything about some order?" he said flicking through his book himself

Tancred couldn't keep his eyes off of the sleeping Professor Richardson. It was quite annoying actually, seeming a professor 'teach' class sleeping. What if some idiot came through and hexed them all right on the spot? He wouldn't have minded if an idiot hexed Richardson. But sleeping in his own classrooom in front of them all wasn't a safe thing to do around students who still had their wands. Someone might've gotten an idea. Someone like him....

The Hufflepuff grinned mischivously and winked at Cale. He pulled out his wand and quietly walked toward the sleeping professor. He gave everyone in the room a look that said 'Rat me out, you're in for it yourselves'. He stood right beside Richardson and quickly thought of a spell that would both wake the man up and cause a good laugh for everyone. Hmm ... which spell to choose?

Then the spell popped right into his head. Now, to do it non-verbally. He remembered his most recent Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson and Professor Myers had taught them all how to perform non-verbal spells pretty well. Tancred was alright with non-verbal spells, but they needed some work. He pointed his wand at Richardson and thought, Levicorpus! He shoved his wand right back in his robes and quickly walked back to where he was debating with Cale. "Priceless," he muttered under his breath.

Darien awoke with a start, "AaaaAAHHH!" he yelled as he realized where he was, "Who over is doing this put me down!" he yelled loudly, twisting and turning in the air.

Tancred looked at Richardson out of the corner of his eye. It had worked! The professor was lifted upside down by his ankles in mid-air. The image of the professor floating about in the air made the Hufflepuff now realize why Kingston had laughed when he had pulled the very same spell on him. The look on the victim's face was so priceless!

The seventh year beater then walked up to the professor like nothing had happened. "Oh, Merlin! Professor Richardson, how did you ever wind up dangling about up there?" Tancred asked, trying to his the grin that was begging to show itself to the world. "Here, let me help you down from there! Such a - an airy situation to get yourself into. I'd say you got a Levicorpus spell casted on you." He pulled out his wand out of his Hufflepuff school robes and said, "Liberacorpus!

And at that, the professor landed on the floor with a loud THUD. Tancred smiled and helped the professor up on his feet, brushing off some imaginary dust that managed to get on the man's robes. "Now that you're up, what would you like us to do? I think we've gotten our debating pretty well down. Don't you think?" he muttered, giving a quick wink at the others when Richardson really wasn't paying much attention at all.

At first, Cale was very confused at what Tanc was planning. What could he possibly be forming in that head of his? Hopefully something not too dangerous. But no, it turned out to be that leviation spell that Kingston used against him in class. Cale tried to surpress his laughter, but couldn't hold it and ended up snorting a little chuckle. "Genius mate. Absolute genius," he chuckled as Tanc walked back to him. He wondered what Richardson would do once he woke up--heck, maybe class would end before he woke up and they'd all get a good laugh out of it.

"Thank you for putting me down dear boy." Darien panted, "5 points to hufflepuff. And 5 points to everyone for such good debating. To celebrate the end of term, no homework!" 'Cause I dont feel like grading it.' he added to himself. "Class dismissed."

Tancred made sure he winked a good wink at Cale. He was sure that the Prefect would've loved to be informed about what he had done before, but it was just one of those last minute things that usually sprouted right out of him. Although, it would be a good laugh for everyone and it seemed like Richardson had no clue that he had made him dangle in the air like that in the first place. And he earned a total of ten points too!

"Not a problem at all, my good man," Tancred said, patting the professor on the back before he headed off to stand next to Cale for the remainder of the class. All he knew was that he wasn't going to pull something off like that on Richardson again. Maybe one more time if it was necessary, but that thought probably wouldn't occur to him again. This might've been his last class of the school year.

Then Professor Richardson mentioned that there would be no homework. Tancred's face lighted up in appreciation for the man. I guess not all of the Ministry Approved professors are that bad. This one at least knows how to give points. He then back tracked and gave Richardson a hug - that was totally unexpected! "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Tancred said in a grateful tone. "Thank you! I have enough homework as it is, and N.E.W.T. year is a nightmare, I tell you. Thank you, Professor Richardson!"

Now this time he went back to Cale. What did I just do? he thought, looking back at Richardson. Merlin! I hugged a professor! I hugged an enemy professor. He gave Richardson a quick, friendly smile and walked out of the classroom. Okay. That was ... weird. Very weird. He then waited for Cale just outside of the room, away from Richardson's sight. It was time to learn about this Order of Mane.

Jason wonders why Cale told Tancred first about something he promised to tell him first. Order of The Mane sounds like Gryffindor. "Cale, so why do you tell others first about some order after you promised to tell me and the other Gryffindor's first in the common room as well as Barry"

Maddox was about to finish up debating with Jason when the professor announced everyone got 5 points and class was dismissed with no homework due to the end of term. He smiled and said, "Thanks Professor. Have a great summer break." He grabbed his bag and walked contently out of the room.

At least this professer was ok. He said "Thanks Professer" and he left before he could change his mind

"I doubt you do; she's a first year." Nico frowned, "I might."

Overhearing another boy talking about the whole order thing, Nicholai frowned and shot a look at the Gryffindor Prefect; who was obviously involved.

"Thanks professor." Nico muttered, as he left. Great now he would have time to do his own exam revision and not have his time wasted with pointless homework.

"Good point, Ray."

James stopped to listen to Professor Richardson. He grinned at the thought of no homework.
He stood up and walked to the Professor and put out his hand saying, "Thank you Professor. My final year here has been very interesting and I'm glad I could end it properly with your assisstance." He finished with a smile.
