| Class Rules C.R.E.A.M | Haitian Sensation | Shark Patronus | Your Huckleberry | T's ClayBaby Class Rules:
~Respect and common courtesy go a long way with me. I will not tolerate an act of blatant disrespect or rudeness towards myself, any of the staff, or towards one another. Playing a character who is rude and disrespectful is alright (if not taken too far), but behaving in such a manner OOC can and often will result in a warning or an infraction.
~Although, I may not be online OOC, unless I've made a post in which I describe myself leaving IC, assume I am still in the scene.
~It's disruptive when people rp their characters arriving late to class. Please avoid doing this. Even if you could not be here OOC at the time a class started, it is okay to simply catch up on the thread and post as if you were there aaaalll along, saw the whole thing, nothin' gettin' past you.
~Do not use the class threads as chat areas. The corridors and other designated areas are available for IC conversations. I do not mind discussion about the topic amongst each other in the classes, but please use discretion and remember that the class is mostly lecture and that speaking while the Professor is trying to give a lecture can be construed as impolite and result in the loss of housepoints.
~Don't edit your replies to an answer in class. I try to answer the first 3 correct answers (and may give points for a 4th well-researched answer), and it makes it very confusing to credit. If you've left something out you can raise your hand and add to your reply so long as you do not double post and make two consecutive posts from yourself.
~Obey the dresscode. It can be just as distracting when people rp their characters arriving to class dressed in anything but their school uniforms as it is when they rp arriving late.
~At all times, and in all areas of SnitchSeeker.com, the site rules must be observed.

| Newbie Guidelines C.R.E.A.M | Haitian Sensation | Shark Patronus | Your Huckleberry | T's ClayBaby Newbie Guidelines:
Rping in the classes can be a fun way to gain character recognition and branch out, as well as an opportunity to further develop your character and earn housepoints. While it is not that different from rping anywhere else in the school rpg, if you are new to the rp and would like some tips, here are some guidelines that I hope you will find helpful. If you have any questions regarding any of the information featured in this thread, please feel free to PM me. I would be happy to answer any questions.
~Each staff member has their own different set of rules for their classes, and it is beneficial to know who permits what in their class threads. The same goes for the different Professors office threads. I would highly recommend reading through the staffs class rules thread and trying to remember at least the basics of what it is they're asking. Also, be very familiar with the overall site rules.
~Earning a housepoint is another way in which you can gain character recognition and show off your house pride all in one. Earning them is relatively easy and fun. Giving an answer in class (even if you're not completely confident that your answer is absolutely correct) is one way, trying out for and playing Quidditch is another, as is turning in the homework assignments. each staff member seeks something different, but what I like to see in classes is answers that are based a bit on reality/fact, Rowling's ideas and your own creativity. You do this = Me luv you long time!
~It is courteous to not use the exact same font in combination as the exact same colour text as another rper (same font/different colour or same colour/different font is okay). It also helps me identify you faster and avoid overall confusion.
~Use the Private Messaging system to make Out-Of-Character comments, please. Once in a while, I may include RP instructions to guide the story and clarify an expectation on a mass front, but they will be kept brief and used as sparsely as possible.
-If something hillarious should occur in a class (and, Merlin knows it will as the classes are a haven for comedy sometimes) and you wish to discuss it, please use the school chat thread to do so.
-If an rper post something particularly memorable, please, please, please, for the love of Merlin, share it with your fellow SSers in the Quotable Quips thread.
~When turning in the homework, always provide your user ID number, which is the number that is found after your user name in the url on your profile page.
~Many professors ask that you raise your hand before giving an answer in class. To do this, simply rp your character raising their hand and giving the answer in the same post. There is no need to post raising your hand and waiting on a professor to call you out.
~Lastly, Participation for classes and homework is totally optional, but very much desired.

| Class Moved C.R.E.A.M | Haitian Sensation | Shark Patronus | Your Huckleberry | T's ClayBaby
Class Postponed to NEXT Thursday. It will still be a 48+ and the times are still the same. The only thing that's changed is the date. When: Thursday, July 17th & Friday, July 18th. This will be a 48+ hour class, with the first wave hitting at 4 pm PST/ 7pm EST July 17th. The second and third waves will be at 9 pm PST July 10th/ 12 am EST/ 3 pm (Brisbane)/ 4 pm NZ on July 18th AND Noon PST/ 3 pm EST/ 9 pm GMT July 18th.
In the Meantime, study this card from the Major Arcana;
Send (PM) me the name of the card, at least three adjectives describing it, its' number, and what Tarot Deck this exact depiction is featured in. This is the first half of your homework and it won't be due until a week from the time the homework for the upcomming class is posted. Basically, you have two weeks and if you'd like to wait and turn it in with the rest of the homework, that's alright. Don't forget to include your user id numbers.

| Homework: Cartomancy & The Tarot C.R.E.A.M | Haitian Sensation | Shark Patronus | Your Huckleberry | T's ClayBaby
1st half of your homework:
Study this card from the Major Arcana;
The new due date for this part of the assignment is August 20th. If you've already done the assignment, you need not do it again, but if you've already done the assignment and want to change or include information, you're welcome to resend.
The 2nd half of your homework:
Definitions; Pip
Trumps
Court
Match-up; 1. Wands 2. Swords 3. Cups 4. Pentacles a. east b. west c. north d. south
Optional - Essay Question; Explain, in your own words, how you feel about the tarot? Do you think it has the power to foretell future events? Or is it complete rubbish? The assignment is due: August 20th, Wednesday.
Don't forget to include your user id numbers and house.
