Professor Branxton came back to the closet after the fermenting should be complete. He nodded at the students and then moved back to the potion. "Now, we need to add the vinegar and boil until the vinegar is gone," he announced.

Lainey had been pacing in front of the potion for weeks. "Doyle, I understand that this potion making thing takes patience, but this is ridiculous. Can't you make it go any faster??"

Sana shifted her attention from Lyra to the Professors. Giggled at professor Lainey's impatience. Oh well! That would be awesome if they speed up the process. She started to search her jar which flew from her hand just before the surpirse package.

Rapunzel was starting to feel claustrophobic with all the students crowding such a small area.....and she was also beginning to wonder if she was shrinking or the room was getting tighter....and more people just kept coming in...more....and more...and professors too...

She needed to escape.

Thankfully, Professor Branxton made an announcement that could serve as an out for her.

"Sir, sir, I have the vinegar," Punz spoke up, holding the bottle above her head and hoping he could hear her. Maybe she could just hand it over, and escape....? But then she would feel guilty about not helping more.....stupid Hufflepuff conscience.

Amelia looked from Agie to Josh and back to Agie again. She could not believe this girl and how ignorant she was being. The girl honestly knew nothing about her past relationships or friendships. "Look Agie, if you wanted it to be a 'private conversation', then don't talk about me when I am standing right there." She retorted back after taking a deep breath to keep her calm. "And for your information, he never asked me out. Besides, what about you and last year's quidditch captain Ryan? Or how you disowned your own sister this term?" Rolling her eyes, she turned over to look at Josh.

He looked disappointed, but did he honestly believe the gryffindor? Who's side was he on anyway? She would be needing a talk with him later; as for Agie... that girl was trouble.


Amelia was thankful at the sound of Lyra's voice, even though the girl had apparently become 'best friends' with Agie. "Oh, I see now. Well, I was just trying to point out to you what it was so that you would know what bug I was holding... I didn't realize it would be such an issue."


Between Agie starting rumors, and Lyra and Josh believing her, it was all too much for the sixth year. She gazed around the room for someone who would actually stand by her.... ah! There she saw her, leaning against the wall awkwardly. The tall blond Ravenclaw, Rhiannon. She turned her back on the 'trio of chaos', and walked towards her friend. "Hello there, Rhian!" Her gaze shifted then to the professors, and she giggled at Lainey's impatience.

Jason Potter Weasley helps pour the vinegar. Jason hears animals running around the school/ Need to give them potion/

"Perhaps...Or any creature, really. Especially magical. But I'm sure you could get the same information--or, most likely, better information--from your uncle?" she grinned. Having an uncle who was the CoMC professor would likely be very handy at times.

"We need the potions now Professor to help the students" Jason says.

Rapunzel rushed into the cupboard behind that Gryffindor boy, the one who was always stealing her thunder.

She rolled her eyes at him and then delivered the message.

"Excuse me, Professor Branxton sir, but Professors Clark and Kohan would like the potion down at the vegetable patch. Some of the missing students are there right now..." she sighed, glancing at the potion and remembering her escape after handing over the vinegar.

"It's done, isn't...it?"

" Look Rapunzel. we need to work together. " Jason told her. " I have cousins who were turned into animals. Nameas are Excelsior and Monica Black. " Jason told her. " Like to be part of the Wild Boars ( Band of Remegade Students) that I started to help free the students/animals ? Jason asked her

Rapunzel raised an eyebrow when the Gryffindor boy addressed her, and briefly wondered how he knew her name.

"Er....I'm sorry about your cousins," she replied, blinking. "But I don't know how much help I would be with your, uh, search party," she added, "especially since the students have apparently returned to the castle."

Rhiannon raised an eyebrow as Amelia addressed her. Slowly speaking, as if to someone who she wasn't sure understood her, she says, "Yeah, I've been here for a while. We extracted beetle eyes together, remember?" She was somewhat confused. Had someone cast a memory charm or something on the Huffie?

Amelia was rather confused now, because all she had done was say hello. "Yea, I remember. I was just saying hello..." she paused as she noticed Punz and that Gryffindor, Jason, come in saying something about the missing students being there right now. She hoped the potion was near done...

Rhiannon laughed. "I think that usually a person says hello at the beginning, not after they have been in the same room with, and talked to the other person already." She glanced over as someone said that the missing students had been found. She hadn't really heard much about the status of the potion so far, but it seemed to her that now would be the best time for it to be completed.

Erikson watched as there was a bustle of activity around the broom cupboard. Well, there must be a party or that was where the excitement was. He entered in to see a potion being made... or was it done? "I take it this was the right place."

Cassandra turned at looked at her Herbology professor... this wasn't fair... it wasn't. She turned back and watched the potion boil, waiting Branxton's instructions.

Xana saw Professor Erikson enter the broom cupboard and her eyes widened in fear. She slipped quietly behind the area where Diabolica stood, hoping that the herbology professor wouldn't notice her presence.

Erikson just managed to catch sight of Xana, due to her movement. The room was too crowded to chance anything. He would need to wait until the next herbology class. Perhaps even divination, if things went as planned. Did Xana even attend divination? He fingered the box in his pocket as he considered, looking around at the other students in the room.

"Here, let's not drop the potion Professor or students " Jason said knowing none of them would drop it. Animals or I mean missing students all over sdhool. We could splot up into groups and help give potions in animals adter we give them drinking water.

"Unfortunately I do not have the power to speed up time," he sneered at the impatient professor. "Perhaps you could go round up your students in preparation for the spraying of the potion, making yourself useful instead of a hindrance upon my concentration. Or would you like me to make an error and threaten the health of the missing students?"
"Thank you both," Professor Branxton replied as he stirred the vinegar. He added the water and continued stirring, not trusting the students with this important task, for the required time.

45 minutes later...

"And if it twere done I would give it, but it is not," Professor Branxton angrily replied. He was tired of this impatience. Did none of them understand he art of potion brewing?!?! He would need to speak with Cassandra about the current potions master right away. "We need it now"... indeed! He hmphed to himself at the absurdity of it all, and Lainey perpetuating the problem. A teacher. If he were on better terms with Cooper and less good terms with Cassandra he would have had her removed from the influence of these students after his first year here.
"Yes, you have found it. Beetle eyes!" he declared, holding out a hand for them.

Lainey took deep, deep breath. It was too long and actually ended up hurting. "Very well, Doyle," Lainey spoke through her clenched jaw. "But when you're too wussy to protect this potion and yourself, don't come whining to me." Lainey turned on her heel and thundered off, her wand was leaving a trail of sparks behind her.

Lainey was too angry to pay much attention to where she was going, so she just went.

Cassandra looked at the pile of beetle eyes her 'team' had extracted... They seemed to be looking at her and she shivvered. She closed her eyes, gathered them and handed them to the professor.

"Thank you, Miss Trelawney," he said as he accepted the eyes and put them in the potion.

"It's almost finished now," he then announced to the waiting crowd as he continued to stir the potion and waited for it to cool. "We need to find something to spray the potion with."

"Should be get one big sprayer Professor, or should all of us get a small one?" She asked. If they needed something large she wouldn't know where to find it... but if it was something small... Professor Pierce could finally make herself useful and transfigure potion vials into little spray bottles.

"I'm sure that we could summon the correct amount of needed spray bottles from the kitchens..." Diabolica suggested.
