Professor Branxton found an abandoned broom cupboard to brew the potion. He set everything up and waited for students to bring him the ingredients needed. While he waited, he pinned a copy of the potion directions to the wall. Quote:

2) Pour off excess water from mandrake root (take care not to pour out the clazoarl!) and add leech juice. Allow to ferment for seven days.
3) Add vinegar to the stewed and fermented mandrake root and boil until there is no vinegar remaining.
4) Add water and bring to a boil. Then, reduce flame and simmer for forty-seven minutes and three seconds, stirring counterclockwise for the duration of the simmer.
5) Add black beetle eyes, maintaining the counter clockwise stirring for an additional forty seven seconds. Then, begin to stir in a serpentine motion while removing the cauldron from all heat.
6) Allow the mixture to cool while maintaining the serpentine stirring movement. (This can take several hours).
7) Add the ancient fluorescent clam mold and spray the affected person down with the potion. | |

He hated being crowded. He needed his space. And space this was not to begin with!

Amelia looked over towards Vannie, rolling her eyes, as Erikson went off on another rant again for them all to leave. There was no way she was going to leave though without the panther; and the panther was needed for testing so she was staying. It was that simple. Besides, Lainey had expanded the broom cupboard so it wasn't that small. She just remained firmly seated on the ground, next to the panther, waiting to see the effects of the potion.

Josh stared at the professor who must have been claustrophobic or something. That or his wife's insanity had started to rub off on him. The first one was more plausible, but he was sure it was the second one. He sighed as he was tired of hearing Erikson's Very loud chattering. He smiled at the girls as he walked over to mia." Tell the student when it wakes up that i would like to see them. Seeing as some of us need to leave and your quite glued to it, seems like you are going to stay. Please tell her that." he asked as he had an idea who it was and wanted to talk to her if it was. If it wasnt then he just wanted to make sure they were fine." dont forget." he asked mia as he then headed out of the cupboard to clear some space.

The panther was frozen on the floor with her paws out in front of her and her mouth now closed. Her Claws still weren't retracted and a bit of blood dripped from the nails.
ooc: Cassirin wanted all the animals to be taken out to the front of the school.

Rhiannon decided she had had enough of the professor's ranting. And it seemed like Josh had as well, seeing as he had gone over to Amelia to say something to her. Excusing herself, she slips out the door just ahead of Josh, intending to head out to the lake to get some fresh air. After being locked into the pantry, and then shut inside the broom cupboard, she felt like she needed to get outside before she went crazy. Like it seemed some of the professors were.

The cupboard was getting so crowded and Erikson seemed to be just spraying everyone here, though he was sure the animals were meant to go elsewhere to be sprayed. There just wasn't enough room, even though the SMALL closet had been SLIGHTLY expanded to accommodate SOME extra CHILDREN for the potion BREWING. "It seems you have this under control here. It's a pity there's too many animals and people in here to tell if the potion has worked or not. Hopefully it doesn't get spilled with all the animals in here when they should be on the grounds somewhere," Professor Branxton announced. "I'll just get going now."

Vannie smiled at Amelia as she looked over at her. She watched the older girl go and sit next to the panther before following suit, sitting down beside her. She really didnt know why she had actually come, more got dragged along. But it had meant that she did seem a little more social now.

Excelsior walked into the broom cupboard holding his sister, the small black cat. He was still getting used to being human again, it felt very strange to him. "Everyone, this is my sister Monica," he said. "She needs your help. Can she please be given the antidote so that she can be changed back into a human again, like me? And I want to thank both of you, Professors Branxton and Erikson, for all your help in making this potion, and Professor Lainey, as well." He signalled to the rest of the group to wait for just a minute. "I'll be right out," he said. "It's pretty crowded in here and they need all the room they can get to work in."

After the panther was sprayed the hew was lifted off her, she wasn't human yet, but she was almost thinking like one. The panther rolled over onto her stomach and stood, she was a bit unsteady at first but soon she bolted threw the open door.
Those things, those humans aren't going to carry me anywhere again She flew down the stairs as if she already knew where to go. | |
