Tomasina had been brushing up on her potions since last term. She briskly walked toward the class room. She checked her reflection in one of the mirrors that she passed. She didn't want to get into trouble for a hair out of place. She walked into the classroom and sat down in the second row. "Good afternoon Professor." She said before pulling out her supplies and her book.

Kayla walked into the potions classroom slowly, this was by far her worst subject as a matter of fact she sucked at it. "Good day to you Professor" Kayla said as she walked passed her desk and found herself a seat.

"And good day to you two, as well," Professor Melita brightly replied and bounced up from her chair to meet the at the door with her tray of cookies. "Have a cookie... or two, even!" she grinned.


OOC: I don't think I've mentioned but, the 'secret ingredient' in my cookies makes people a bit more cheerful.

Celandine may have been walking with the utmost decorum as befitting a young lady; but on the inside she was skipping.

"Bonjour, Professor." She said happily, with a little curtsey for the professor. "Hi Tommy, Hi Kayla." Cela smiled at both girls before taking a seat as close to the front as possible, not wanting to miss a single thing in this class; Nico would be very mad at her if she didn't pay attention to his best subject.

Kayla took the offered cookie and eyed it warily, she didn't know whether to eat it or not. The Professor was of course unknown to them all, she walked back to her seat. "Thank you" she said. "Hi Cela" Kayla said brightly looking at the younger girl fondly.

Hazel walked into the classroom and took a seat in the middle of the class. Keeping her bagpack on the table she sat down. "Good afternoon professor." she said enthusiastically.

"Hi Cela," She said smiling at Nico's sister.

Tomasina thought it strange to be eating in the Potions room, but she took a cookie anyways and munched on it for a few minutes before the professor started class. "Thank you Professor." She said with a big grin on her face. She reached over and grabbed another cookie. Wow, those things were good she thought still with the same grin on her face.

"You are most certainly very welcome," she said in a high pitched cutsey voice, like one you'd use wit a dog or small child.
"Good morning!! Don't forget to take a cookie. Young witches just don't eat enough these days," she smiled, though she was rake thin herself.

She offered bright and sunny hellos with her cookies to each student who entered.

Daphne walked in, red pigtails bouncing. When she first saw the Professor holding cookies, she could tell she would like this lady. "Thank you!" she squeaked, grabbing one of the cookies. She sat down and pulled out her quill and parchment. Normally the time before class would be spent fiddling with various objects on her desk, but this time it was devoted to eating the cookie provided. Daphne had never tasted a cookie this interesting before. It was good, but there was a twang, maybe some lemon juice? After a few more bites she didn't care, she just sat back, smiling, looking ahead ready to start the lesson.

Emily wandered into the classroom with her usual frown fixed firmly in place. The sight of all the pink in here only served to make her look even more depressed. She grabbed two cookies on the way past the professor muttering her thanks, and bit into one of them - some nice comfort food ought to help her current mood. She shoved the other cookie in her bag to give to Henry later.

She chose a seat at the back of the classroom, nodding at Tommy and Kayla on the way past. She plonked herself down rather heavily for such a scrawny young girl and dug around in her bag for her parchment and quill.

She sat back in her chair and looked around the classroom, taking everything in for the first time... that pink was actually kinda relaxing when you got used to it. She looked up at the clouds floating around the ceiling and a serene, slightly stupid looking, smile spread slowly across her pale face. Maybe this class wasn't going to be as bad as anticipated.

Kayla looked at Cela. "Maybe you should save yours for later, you're already bouncing off the walls as it is" she whispered. "Remember what I told you in the courtyard."

After leaving the library, and having a very interesting conversation with her fellow house mates, Willow made her way to the to the Potions classroom, to her first Potion lesson of the term.

Ugh! PINK!

Willow scowled at all the pink in the classroom, as her hand automatically reached for the cookies on the tray. So ridiculous! All the pink was starting to make her feel edgy. She scowled again.

Taking a seat in the back of the classroom, giving a wave to Emily Greenwood, Willow shoved one of the cookies to her mouth, just for something to do.

Wowwww.... They were really good! Actually, Willow was sure that this was one of the best thing she'd eaten in a long time.

"Good Morning Professor!", Willow said happily to the teacher, after the scowl on her face had disappeared, and had been replaced by a huge and cheerful grin. "Thanks for the cookies! These are really good!" Yummy!

Oh well--Perhaps this lesson was not going to be so bad after all. And now the she think about it, the pink around the classroom looked rather nice.

Celandine beamed at the professor and took a cookie cautiously; I thought we were not allowed to eat outside of the great hall? She thought to herself.

She didn’t usually eat anything sugary, with the exception of her favourite chilli candy and the occasional chocolate frog; which were usually provided by Nico. But the cookie looked tasty; she carefully reached into her pocket and pulled out a clean handkerchief, wrapping the cookie carefully so that she could snack on it when she was back in the great hall.

Cela looked up in surprise as Kayla spoke to her; nodding in agreement. “I’ll eat it later, perhaps.” She said grinning at her and bouncing slightly in her seat.

Daphne continued to happily munch on her cookie, looking around the room. It was far brighter than the potions classroom at Hogwarts. No ruddy Dungeon at this marvellous place. She tilted her head back, watching clouds float below the ceiling. "OOH!" she said, awed at the wonderful display. This professor certainly knew how to please a crowd.

Happily tapping her foot, she eagerly awaited the lesson to begin. She managed to finish up her cookie. She adored the fact that she was eating outside of the Great Hall, but now that she thought about it, that rule made sense. Food is messy, why spread that mess throughout the castle. Actually, sitting in that room, a number of rules made increasing sense, even the strict rule about uniforms. Daphne couldn't even remember why she disliked them, it was obvious the outfits were cute as can be. She thought about wearing it all the time, even outside of school.

Jessica walked in and greeted the professor. She noticed Ems and Wilow and said "Hi" to both of them with a wide smile.
Jess headed for one of the desks positioned in the middle of the class, her usual place.

Her backpack painfully heavy with the two heavy books - unrelated to lessons - she had within it, Cully entered the Potions classroom, head down, only to stop in her tracks as she looked around. Pink?

Fighting back the urge to let out a moan in distaste, she carefully put the bag on a nearby desk, before slipping into the seat and pulling out her supplies.

She beamed around at the students and then clapped her hands for attention. The door closed at the same moment. "Welcome to Potions!!!" Professor Melita exclaimed as she skipped to the center of the room. "Now, for our first lesson, we'll just banish these desks to the walls and sit in a circle. I've got cushions!"

She bounced back to a closet while allowing the students time to push or banish the desks to the walls and gather in the center of the room.

Celandine stood up excitedly, pushing the desk out of the way and hurried to get a cushion, before placing it on the floor and sitting on it with her legs tucked under herself as per her usual manner.

Jenesis entered the Potions classroom and looked around. "Pink?" she said. She grabbed a cookie and went to find a place to sit.

She didn't see any of her house mates so she sat down at a empty table and took out her supplies. She munched slowly on her cookie as she waited for the class to begin.

She took out her Gryffindor cushion when the professor told everyone to sit on the floor. And she had thought that the cushion would only be used in the Great Hall. Now she was glad that she had put it in her bookbag.

Jenesis was still in deep thought about what had happened to her. Since none of her friends had talked to her yet, she was thinking that she was a freak and a weirdo. "Maybe I should tell my Dad that I do want to go home." But did she really? This school was the first time she had ever had friends. "Maybe they are just busy." she said out loud to herself. Her friends had not acted weirded out when the stuff had happened. In fact she had thought they they were trying to protect her.

Jenesis tried to push all her self doubts away so that she could concentrate on this potions class. She really wanted to do well.

But still . . . . .

Jessica did as she was told. She pushed the desk away and went to get a cushion. Then she put it on the floor and sat down quickly waiting for the class to officially begin.

Cushions? Wow! This class was getting better and better!

Emily beamed from ear to ear, choosing a very comfy looking bright yellow cushion as close to the professor as she could possibly get.

Raising an eyebrow, Cully did as she was told and pushed the desk to the wall quickly, before grabbing a cousin - making sure it wasn't bright pink. She couldn't stand that.

Taking a seat near the others, she crossed her legs and lent her chin in her hand, her elbow on her knee.

Shayna blinked at the various painted pictures stuck up on the walls, wondering if perhaps they'd been painted by students from her previous school, then winced at the pink clouds floating around overhead. As long as they didn't let loose anything over her, she was pretty much fine with their random floating.

Snapping out of her reverie, she dragged her desk to the far wall, aligning it with the stones. Pulling up a neon green pillow near the others, she dropped her self atop it, pulling her legs up and wrapping her arms around her knees.

Beaming with excitement, Daphne popped up and hurriedly pushed her chair to the edge of the classroom. She returned and struggled to shift the large desk to the corner. Realising this was too difficult for the small girl, she pulled out her wand and successfully sent the desk across the room, stopping just short of the wall. "Perfect!" she said to herself.

With that out of the way, she happily strolled to the centre of the room. She noticed all the other students were just as thrilled to be there as she way. Looking at the pile of cushions, she quickly grabbed a bright blue one. "Blue for Ravenclaw!" she piped in to no one in particular. Then she set it down and sat on it, tucking her legs under her, eagerly waiting for the next topic.
