Ancient Runes Lesson 1

With a firm pencil held in one hand, Professor Clark kept tapping on his desk while he waited for students to arrive. "Class will start shortly, please take your seats" he murmurs as you walk in.

James flipped a few more pages. "Yeah, here's something.
Ehwaz indicates transportation, so I guess the Ministry will be sending me here and there. And Kenaz...is Vision, Knowledge, and Creativity. Looks like my job will require a little bit of everything."

"Well, some runes, Jera in this case looks exactly the same when its upside down. So technically its not reversed per say, thus called a 'merkstave', in pure english 'dark stick', for runes its referred to the dark meaning of it", he peaked over the text book and read out "Sudden setback, reversals, a major change, repetition, bad timing, poverty, and conflict". He glanced at Ryan and smiled, "now don't let that get you. Each person interprets their runes differently than others. This is only an exercise" he winked and lifted himself up as he peered at his wrist watch.

"Time for homework" he grinned at the class, "thank you for running the exercise with such detailed precision. Each student, who have done so shall recieve bonus points. Now for homework, I'd like you to send me two paragraphs with your own theory and interpertations of your Runes casting and make sure to add your question. Homework due by Aug 25. I'll remain behind for those who wish to ask a few questions".

James looked up from his Runes as the Professor ended the lesson and assigned them their homework. He took out quill and ink and jotted it down.
He looked at Jason and said, "Well, nice working with you."

He stood up to leave.
