Cora walked slowly towards the Broomshed. There wasn't a lesson going on, but she most certainly wasn't there to steal a broom. She would never do that, as she had great respect for Professor Vindictus, and knew not to get on the wrong side of him.

She slipped into the shed and ran her hand across a broom. Sighing, Cora stepped outside again. Would she fly again?

Sho looked around and crept out toward the broomshed. Even though it was raining out, he was clad in shorts. It wasn't that cold... really... He had the hood of his sweatshirt over his head to protect his hair from the rain, but also to make sure no one saw his face. He opened the door to the shed and looked behind a few boxes of old equipment.

It was still there.

The box from last term was still there in perfect condition. Perhaps it had been moved a smidge, but nothing major.

"Good," he whispered.

Shogle would dance again.

Kate walked towards the BroomShed door.She'd just finished flying and was just putting her broom away.She sighed deeply,things wernt turning out so bad after all,she'd met a couple of really great people.Maybe life here wasnt going to be so bad after all,she was still missing her friends greatly.She put her broom aside and shut the door.

Adalia crept into the Broom Shed, looking behind her as she carefully closed the door. There were brooms everywhere, Comets, Nimbuses and even old Shooting Stars. She grabbed the nearest, most oldest broom and began to polish it.

Adalia had always had a slight obsession with Quidditch. Although she had never tried out for the Gryffindor team, she knew she had what it took. She clipped and tweaked the brooms, polishing the handles and smoothing down the edges for what seemed like minutes. Only then did she realize that she'[d been in there all morning and that the Ravenclaws would be picking up their brooms shortly after dinner.

Professor Vindictus purposely hurried past the students waiting outside his office and sprinted out to the Broomshed. Outside the door, he placed a sign that read 'Broom Care Class In Here.' Inside, he found it the way he left it when the previous term ended but it was thick with a layer of dust and cobwebs. It was obvious that students had been inside but he didn't mind. Using a quick cleaning spell, he tidied the place up a bit and sat down on one of the wooden benches. Soon the students would arrive and the lesson would begin.

Amelia hurried down to the broomshed for the broom care class. While she already knew a good portion of what might be taught today, she didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to earn Hufflepuff some house points. The sixth year entered the broomshed and found Max already in there, sitting down. Taking a seat on a bench near Max's, she smiled politely at him and waited. "Good morning, Professor. And how are you on this fine day?"

Clifford was a little nervous when he walked into the broomshed for the lesson on broomstick care, he always was nervous at the prospect of being face to face with Professor Vindictus. He knew the Professor had been a professional Quidditch player in the past and this intimidated him, he didn't want to make a fool of himself infront of a Quidditch genius. That would be embarrasing.

When he spotted Maximus Vindictus waiting on one of the benches, Clifford gulped and gave a shaky smile before taking a seat himself.

Xana walked into the broom shed for the broom care lesson; she'd never met the famous Maximus Vindictus before and so she was very interested. She walked in and saw the man sitting on a wooden bench.

"Hello, Professor Vindictus." she smiled and nodded to the professor politely, speaking softly. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you; I've heard great things about you from Marco Denver. My name is Aryanna, though everyone calls me Xana."

After running all the way from the Ravenclaw common room, Willow arrived the broomshed, completely breathless. Clearly, she was nervous about being late, and the prospect of being late class made her anxious; She could made Ravenclaw lose points, if that was the case

"Hello Professor Vindictus, Having a nice day I hope?" Willow greeted politely to the Head of the House, after taking seat in one of the benches, relieved that she was not late. She was the only Ravenclaw there. Great, we need points and people don't even bother to come to class.

Vindictus nodded and grinned at each student who arrived early. "Welcome, welcome! Now I hope each of you brought your work robes to slide into - it's going to get a bit messy in here."

Xana nodded and slipped on her work robes, wondering how badly broom handle polish might stain them... she'd be careful, as she hated even her work robes to be less than tidy.

Amelia frowned when Max mentioned about work robes. The closest thing she had to those were her practice robes, which were safely in her dormitory. Raising her hand, she quietly asked, "Professor? Would practice robes be acceptable?" If they were, it would take a strong summoning charm, but she was confident that she could do it.

Qaz was very exciting about this workshop. She had finally been able to buy a broom and she wanted to keep it at its best.

He raised an eyebrow. "I sure hope you don't wear your practice robes in Herbology. Practice robes are very different than work robes and will not protect you from manual labor," Vindictus said and pointed his wand at a cupboard. A spell shot out and the cupboard door squeaked open. Inside were old, stained work robes that were covered in a thick layer of dust and cobwebs. "Unlike the spare robes in the Greenhouse, these smell of polish and dirt. See if you can find one that fits."

Amelia curled her upper lip when Max said that practice robes were different from work robes. She reluctantly walked over to the cupboard and held her breath as she looked through for some small robes. She finally settled on a medium-large black robe, that wasn't too badly stained although it was a bit large for her frame. Pointing her wand, she cleaned the cobwebs off before slipping into it. "Thank you," she said to Max, as she resumed her seat on the bench.

Williw sighed a heavy sigh, the moment she heard Vindictus talking about 'things getting messy'. She was not looking forward to this. The prospect of getting dirty, was something that she was not excited about. That was one of the few things that she and her father had in common; They both hated to get messy or dirty or anything that would affect their personal appearance.

Regardless, she took out her work robes, and slid into them, without a word. The last thing she should do, was complaining. Ravenclaw needed points, badly

"While everyone is slipping into work robes that fit," Vindictus began and gave Amelia a small frown, "Who can tell me why it's important to learn proper broom care?" He thought he saw something move in the pocket of the robes the Hufflepuff was wearing.

"Because that way we can keep our brooms in excellent conditions?" Willow said tentatively, still with a little frown on her face, for the prospect of getting dirty.

Josh walked down to class as he saw amelia sitting on a bench. He walked over and sat next to her." Hello. " he told her as he then wondered about class."anything exciting happen yet?"

Amelia caught the frown that Max gave her, but just shrugged it off as she raised her hand. She liked this part of class. "Proper broom care is important because you want a broom that functions correctly, without any problems. By taking care of your broom properly, it will last a long time and maintain good condition for many years," she said clearly.

"Brillant answers! Five points each to Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff," Vindictus grinned. But a frown quickly replaced the grin as a Slytherin boy entered the class and began talking to another student. "Please refrain from talking while others are answering my questions. Next time, points will be taken away." Then the smile returned. "Does everyone have their work robes on?"

Clifford listened as Willow Bone Crusher and the Huffie Prefect gave answers and then pulled on his work robes. He loved mess almost as much as he loved broomsticks, this should be fun.

"Sorry professor." he said shrinking back just a little. Thank goodness no points were taken off. Cassandra would of had his head. Josh nodded as the professor asked if everyone had their work robes on. He did at least.

"Yes Professor," Amelia replied, happy to have earned her house points. She then looked over at Josh and gave him a warning look; she frankly didn't care if he lost Slytherin points but she would not risk her own house's points.
