Potions class, and now her favourite person was sitting by her. This was shaping up to be a wonderful day... which became even better as she overheard him complimenting her skills. Callie raised her hand again, "Proffesor wouldn't a sleeping potion work as well because sleep not only affects the body but it also effects the mind too." she said after her other potion that two people before her mentioned.
She of course was thinking out of the box so Callie replied with her hand still raised, "and wouldn't most postions that affect the body as well have something to do with the mind because the mind controls functions of the body." She had no idea where these words were coming from but they sounded right. Hopefully.

Rhiannon let out a little sigh from her spot in the classroom. She hadn't really prepared very well for this class, but had showed up for a couple reasons. First, she wasn't the type to miss a class, and second, she had been curious on if Dresden was going to make an appearance. She'd certainly gotten an answer for that question.
But she had no idea of an answer for the phantom Potions professor's question. At least, no idea beyond those potions that had already been named. And she wasn't going to repeat someone else's answer just to prove she was there. She just wanted to find out if they were going to be brewing anything. Then maybe she could focus.

Rhiannon started surreptitiously flipping through her potions textbook to occupy time while she was waiting for another question to be asked, or something else to happen. She was having a hard time looking at the noncorporeal form or Professor Dresden, since she kept remembering the last time she actually saw him, how cloaked and covered he had been. And she was also bothered by the fact that she was too distracted to try to come up with an answer for the question that was still floating around the class. Mind altering potions. If I didn't know any better, I'd think someone had slipped me one, she thought.

At the mention of 'Kool Aid', Shayna looked up, surprised. While it wasn't a drink which was common in England, she'd heard about it plenty in the States when she'd visited family. While she'd hadn't taken a fancy to it herself, it was an orange fruit/drink which was very popular with the kids in America. Actually, come to think about it, she'd heard similar claims about the side-effects of the orange colouring in another drink called 'Sunny D'.

Amelia sighed from the back of the classroom. She had decided to go against taking her usual seat near the front of the room for two main reasons: one, she was unsure as to Dresden's behaviors of late - especially with the roaring after last lesson and two, Trell was looking quite depressed back here, of which she was determined to find the root of who made the slytherin prefect so upset.
Despite how badly she wished to earn Hufflepuff points, she just could not focus on the lesson today. Mind altering lessons ... yea right. Instead, the sixth year kept her head in her notebook, trying to figure this mystery out.
