"Thanks. The spells come in great for distraction. If i was thinking better i should of casted a water resistant flames. That would of been fun." He teased lightly, but sorta felt he might be giving her ideas for their next duel.Oh well it would be more challenging. He looked to the area where they use to be and back to her." No." he gave her a smile as he then asked,' so you having fun so far?who could beat dueling for our first lesson."

Dia nodded, watching Claudian and Xana both leave. As she lacked a partner, she stood closer to the wall and kept an eye out, binding her bleeding arm with a simple 'Ferula'.

Jessy noticed his good friend Dia, and decided to ask for a duel. "Duel with me Dia?" Jessy asked ask he walked close to her.

"Why of course, Hitachi." Dia grinned, stepping forth from the shadows.

Jessy grinned. "I hope you're not tired from your previous duels...Who shall being first?" Jessy asked.

"No, no...I've only had one duel so far, and I've already recovered from that one..." Dia grinned. "Either of us. Your choice, really..." she shrugged, bowing to him, yet never taking her eyes off him.

Jessy smirked a little. "Well...How about you start first, I mean you are- STUPEFY!" Jessy yelled at the end of his sentence, hoping that he would catch her by surprise.

Dia smirked, and, as she had just duelled with Xana, saw the spell coming early and swiftly blocked it with a silent protego. Twisting her wand hand's wrist in a circular motion and aiming at Hitachi, she thought, 'Confundo!'

The spell flew past Jessy as he moved to the far right, as soon as he saw her swish her wand. He did that in order to save some time. Jessy didn't quite master a silent spell cast but he tried. 'Confringo' He thought. Thankfully his spell went flying out of his wand a towards his target.

Quickly stepping to the left, Dia avoided the spell easily. 'Oppugno!' she thought, conjuring a large timber wolf. The wolf sprang forward, snarling, and attempted to knock Hitachi down with its huge, strong paws. Backing up the wolf attack with a non-verbal stupefy, Dia carefully waited for a counter attack, watching her friend's every move.

"Silvera!" Hitachi quickly casted. A silver line spilled from Jessy's wand and shot into the wolf. The wolf disappeared into the air. With barely anytime left, he casted "Protego." Loud and clear. The stunning spells was immediately deflected.

He pointed his wand back at Dia and yelled "Incarcerous!" Along with "Confringo!" Although the second spell was not meant for her. The ropes flew along to Dia. Hitachi's second spell caught up with the ropes and exploded around Dia. He had hoped that worked.

"Protego!" Dia growled, her wand not aiming at the explosion--but at herself. An invisible barrier came up between the exploding ropes and the seventh year. "Ah...what a nice fireworks display..." she said dryly to herself. Vanishing the remains of the ropes, she swiftly dropped to the floor in another compact forward roll just in case Hitachi was sending any other spells toward her. "Caecus!" Dia said just above a whisper as she jumped up from the ground, a slightly evil smile appearing on her face.

Hitachi was hit by the spell, but he let it purposely. "An eye for an eye?" he said with a grin. "Obscuro!" He casted. "Protego Totalum..." He muttered, unsure whether she would send a large number of spells to him.

ooc: Obscuro causes a blindfold to appear over the victim's eyes, obstructing their view of their surroundings.

Dia smirked. "Ah...well..." she blocked the charm with a lazy flick of her wand, grinning. 'Finite Incantatem!' she thought, aiming at Hitachi. After all...that would take down his shield charm. 'Cruor subsisto minimus!'

ooc: Cruor subsisto minimus--minimizes blood flow temporarily.

Hitachi felt his protective charm wear off. He heard an unusual spell and felt it coming towards him. He casted "Protego." And deflected the spell.

He felt his blindness wearing out, but she didn't know that. He aimed away from Dia, but close enough for her to react to his spell. "Petrificus Totalus!" He yelled, pointing at her right. He Thought and casted Stupefy! to her left. And then he casted silently Expelliarmus! pointing at her chest. Then he swished his wand once again, this time yelling "Levicorpus!" pointing at her feet. This was going to be interesting.

Seeing no more or less than four spells coming toward her, Dia almost did a double take. Any way she dodged any of the spells, she was going to get hit by one. 'Well, if he's going to play it like this...I suppose it couldn't hurt to take the same tactics!' Deciding to block everything but the easiest to recover from, her wand flew out of her hand and landed on the ground a few yards away. "Accio wand!" she growled, catching it in midair when it flew back to her. This was quite an interesting duel, as Hitachi was quite good for a third year.

Stepping to the right, Dia's eyes glinted maliciously as she raised her wand as quick as lightning and struck back with a non-verbal Incarcerous, sending along with it a stupefying spell.

Finally. A spell had hit. He didn't expect to take her down so easily...After all she was a Seventh year. He saw Dia do her same, favorite tactic. He yelled "Incendio!" as the ropes approached. The ropes fell to ashes. He pivoted to his left, thus avoiding her second spell. His blindness had worn off. He twisted his wrist in order to swivel his wand. He closed his eyes and concentrated. "Stupefy..." He casted pointing at her head. "Stupefy!" He casted again, this time at her feet.

Two stupefying spells? Dia grinned, blocking the top spell and jumping over the other. Using a brilliant spell her other opponent had used earlier, she thought, 'Siccus incrementum!'.

Hitachi saw Dia cast a long difficult spell, which confused him. Jessy's eye's widened as he remembered what the spell did. He pointed his wand at his head and casted: "Aguamenti incrementum!" Freezing water poured all over himself as her spell collided with him. He fell back a few steps then eyed Dia interestedly.

"You are worthy...for my next tactic." Hitachi said slowly as he returned to his dueling stance. "Confundo! Stupefy!" He yelled those two spells while waving his wand simultaneously. He waited for those two spells to get close enough till he muttered his next spell.

"Earilithis Impentium!" He yelled as he waved his wand in an awkward motion. A Dragon exploded out of his wand that looked like it was nothing but soil and rocks. It roared loud, then raced towards Dia. Jessy smirked.

Worthy? Dia wondered, blocking the first two spells. As a great dragon raced towards her, she suddenly stopped in her tracks, staring up at it...yet not staring in horror. Staring in awe. She really was that mental type that occasionally just stopped and watched the thing coming towards her to attack (and possibly kill) her before defending...especially if it was a creature such as this. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts, Dia aimed her wand at the great beast. 'Vultus Incendia!' she thought, grinning maliciously. Another dragon--as large as Hitachi's, and yet comprised completely of flames--sprang from her wand, unfurled its wings, and lunged for the other dragon's neck. Turning back to Hitachi, Dia sent a stupefying spell his way.

Jessy watched Dia closely as she dealt with his dragon. "Another dragon. You are quite ski-PROTEGO!" Jessy yelled the protective charm as he saw a jet of red light coming his way.

The two dragons ravaged in mid air, spitting earth and fire all over the classroom. "Y'know you should have picked lightning." Hitachi said as he pointed his wand at the spinning, beastly dragons. "Aguamenti Maxima." He casted.

A large wave of water splashed the dragons, thus extinguishing the blazing dragon. His own dragon became more buff and strong as the water expanded it's soil. It turned back to Dia, while Hitachi casted "Petrificus Totalus." and "Incarcerous." back at her. Jessy was intending to win this duel no matter what.

"Lightning never suits me. Fire always has." Dia shrugged.

Seeing Hitachi's dragon grow slightly, she narrowed her eyes and aimed her wand at the large dragon. 'Bombarda!' she thought. The earth dragon exploded, showering the floor with small pieces of rock and soil. Narrowly avoiding the two extra spells Hitachi cast, a thought came to mind. If a fire dragon could be extinguished so easily...what else could not?

And then it came to her. Raising her wand yet again, she thought, 'Vultus umbra!' A large ebony black shadow-like dragon sprang from the end of her wand. Haunting, blank, blood red eyes were the only truly prominent feature on the creature--though the outline was clear, not many scales and such were visible. Its whole body seemed to blend together, as it was all that same darkness. As the dragon hovered above the scene, staring at Hitachi, Dia cast another stupfying spell towards her friend, doubling it with an 'Expelliarmus'.

Jessy's eyes widened but he knew could easily stop it. "Lightilis Impentium!" A large pure white dragon emerged from his wand. It collided with the dark dragon, stopping it from reaching Jessy.

Jessy saw the two spells coming toward him. The disarm spell hit him, and his wand went flying into the air, the Stupefy spell also caught Jessy. He went flying back onto the ground.

Hitachi grabbed Dia's neck from behind and sunk his wand into her flesh. "It's over Dia, I casted Geminio Hunames. It duplicates your body. While I casted my dragon, it concealed me from your sight for a second. That was when I seized my chance." He looked back over to the duplicate of him. It was melting away. "Petrificus Totalus." He muttered. The spell dug into Dia.

Dia did not jump when Hitachi grabbed her neck from behind, yet it did surprise her. She merely began to laugh a low, slightly sinister sounding laugh. "Ah, very clever, Hitachi. Very clever. What you do not know, though, is that I never stopped the shield charm I cast around myself when we started dueling with dragons, as I did not want to be severely injured by the beasts. So technically...your spell will not work... and it is not over." the seventh year forcefully pulled Hitachi's hand away from her neck. She turned around in the blink of an eye, sticking her wand to Hitachi's throat, letting the shield charm slowly fade. "Shall we continue from this slight detour or shan't we?"

Hitachi was indeed cornered by Dia, but he was not afraid. He grinned loudly. "Dia... I won the gamble..." He said slowly. "Watch out..." He said while laughing a rambunctious laugh. His white, bright dragon was in her face. "Now that your shield charm has subsided, I will leave you to deal with my dragon." He laughed as he looked around to see if there was any dragon...None but his. "You haven't an option..." He said as he slowly backed away and pointed his wand at her face.
