The Emsy comment seemed to have hit a nerve, He watched Ems fire the langlock jinx at him again, GAH ! hed forgot what the shield charm was , hes only hope was to dodge it, which he managed to do by inches, The slight wind that followed the curse brushed his hair it was that close, The curse soared through the open window behind him. Dan had half hoped that His curse wouldnt hit , now he was in a pickle. He wandered over to Ems who was hoisted into the air" err ... Ems ... you dont know the spell to get you down ... d-do you ?" Dan always had a habbit of mixing defensive spells and counter curses up. " oh hang on " he said as he drew his wand again " Relashio " As he said it he then realised that Ems would come crashing to the ground, Dan managed to catch her though. After setting her upright he laughed slighlty " does that count as a Sychev victory ?" | |

Slowing down for a split second to catch her breath, as they had been dueling for a while non-stop, Dia was unfortunatly hit full-on with the curse. Feeling her temperature rise exceedingly, she disregarded it for the moment, casting a non-verbal 'Formidonis scaena!' followed by a slightly rushed 'Cruor subsisto minimus!'
ooc: Formidonis scaena--charms victim's eyes to see everything nightmare-ish, often seeing their worst enemy, other people as gruesome corpses, etc-- temporarily.

Xana collapsed, unconscious on the floor. Dia made her way over to Xana, casting the countercurse on herself so that she no longer felt like she was on fire. She flicked her wand in Xana's direction, muttering "Finite." Remembering how Xana awakened Marco in the Leaky Cauldron, she took the thin web of skin between her thumb and forefinger and pinched hard, praying that would work. Quote:

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" she yelled as she fell on to her knees "What the bloody hell, was that!" she yelled Lumos! a very bright light came from the tip of her wand bathing the whole entire dueling stage in a very strong and bright light, Kai could see Onikami covering his eyes.
