Rapunzel went in for a different cat this time...the Black Panther. She zoomed low on her broom again, and quickly launched a hefty balloon at the cat before taking to the skies again.
The air was getting a little crowded though...and who knew how the student/animals would react...

The only animal Anna had seen so far that she hadn't made a try for was the panther. She changed direction and headed for the area the animal was in. Digging deep into her bag for one of her biggest balloons, Anna aimed at the panther and threw the balloon with all her might.

Kerry saw the Panther getting irritated. She watched it criss cross the field wildy, not really blaming the poor thing. Who would want to get bombarded by a ton of potion filled balloons anyway?
Kerry studied the panther for a couple minutes trying to follow it as it sprinted about, zig zagging her broom above it ... trying her best to stay with it. Biting her lip in anxiousness, she decided it was now or never and she dropped the balloon - continuing to follow it as the balloon fell.

Torie circled around once more and aimed another balloon at the cheetah. The poor thing must be getting tired, and hopefully it would slow down just enough for Torie to hit it with this balloon. She let the balloon fly, admiring the graceful arc it made mid-air. Just then, she realize how close she had allowed herself to get to the ground. Uh oh!

Marco took hold of another balloon. This one seemed slightly bigger than the other he had used. He took aim upon the cheetah, and let the balloon go. Suddenly Jason flew in the way of the balloon. Oh well, it was the boys fault that it had landed on his back.

Cassandra didn't know where to look. The poor little monkey looked as if he was angry and frightened, and those baloons probably looked scary. "Vincent!" she called then she turned to the other students. "Stop throwing the baloons at him! He's small! He'll die of fright! Just let me catch him... we can spray him... Please..." Trelawney never begged, but her fear was for the animal she was starting to care for. She turned to the Monkey and opened her arms. "Vincent! Come back little one, I'll protect you."

Lexi wasn't even looking back to see if she had hit the eagle. Instead she set her sights on a new target, the black panther. She watched him stalking around and flung a large balloon at him. She sped off in the other direction so as not to get caught in any retaliation. She stalked the area for other potential targets.

Rapunzel zooomed way up in the sky this time, up above the other students launching the balloons. She made a beeline for the eagle, and when she was at about air-level with it, she threw a balloon right at it. With just a little spin, the balloon was like a speeding curveball.
And hopefully it would hit....

Anna sighed. This was harder than it had seemed earlier. Back in the broomshed, she was all hyped up and ready to go. Now that she had seen how many shots were being missed, she was getting a little discouraged. Never one to give up, she zoomed off again, going back to that monkey she'd been trying to hit for a while now. She pelted another one in the animal's direction, hoping it would finally hit.
The monkey was with Cassandra. "Gosh," Anna thought. "I really want them to get out here so we can help them back into their human forms...."

Juniper, after glancing behind her to see whether or not her balloon had made contact with the monkey, flew after the bald eagle. There were fewer people crowded around him or her. She extracted a balloon from her bag - ah, the balloons were dwindling! - before speeding up until she was near the eagle. She aimed at the Bald Eagle and lobbed the balloon at it.
