| | |  Hufflepuff Common Room
The still life portrait slides back into place behind you and you find yourself standing in a warm, welcoming underground room. The room is decorated in the Hufflepuff house colours, and gathered around the large fireplace are several huge, plump sofas which resemble fluffy clouds. There are lots of comfortable armchairs scattered around for you to rest your weary bodies in.
A long table sits in the brightest part of the room (torches are lit all day long) for the students who would rather do their homework in here.
Portraits of past well known Hufflepuffs hang on one wall, among them are Cedric Diggory and Nymphadora Tonks who died in the dark days of You-Know-Who's power. Remember and honour them as you walk to or from your dormitories.
Two perfectly round, barrel top doors are positioned on opposing sides of the common room. They both open to reveal underground tunnels which will lead you to your common rooms; boys on the right, girls on the left. | |

Savannah nodded slightly, when Ray asked if Rabid would drink milk. "Yes, he does. And thankyou, we'll save that for later; I don't think he'll be willing to eat right now." She said, accepting the milk and put it on the nearest table to her. The hufflepuff knew the cub wouldn't eat or drink at the moment, he had earlier and right now there were other humans around. He had only been around her, and possibly whoever had moved the poor thing and it's mum from their natural habitat.
"I don't know about that, but we can go with it!" Savannah chirped, laughing abit at the thought. Alexis did it for the fun, pure fun and entertainment. But, she was her best friend, one of them atleast. The girl was a nut, but that's what made Lexi; Lexi.
Again beaming, the fourteen year old was so very happy with the reactions everyone had upon seeing the real live baby badger. Hers was probably abit different, but she had found him after a day of observing it's mother; the next day she had found out the unfortunate and cruel details on her own, and there was no chance of her leaving him behind.
She paused, as Curt mentioned they needed to tell Blaylock as well. "You don't think she'd react..badly, do you?" She asked, turning uncertainly to their house Prefect. Professor Clark was one thing, Professor Blaylock was another. Though, he was right. But that didn't stop her from worrying what Rabid's future would entail.
Savannah nodded, slightly amused Hogwarts had come to mind this time. "Uhm, I'm not sure. Professor Clark probably has alot of visiters since it is the first night back." She thought outloud, adding "But..your all welcome to come along," Refuring to Curt and Punz since Mia was already coming; and bent down to grab the little grey kitten that had stumbled right over her foot after trottling alongside Tiger, whom did not stop to wait for his new little friend.
The fourth year titled her head to the side slightly; Rabid seemed okay with the small group around him. He had relaxed more, and quicker then she would have thought. "I tried, it wasn't enough though. I only found him four day's ago, from today. He lost his mother, unfortunately. Hunters are cruel evil people," She mumbled the last part, rather noticeably annoyed. Anna felt, and thought alot more on that but was easy to hide it.
She shook her head, then looking to the third year. "I didn't though. I've only taken care of him, other then that..I think he just doesn't know how to be a Badger. If he did, by now naturally he would have attacked." She responded. Savannah wouldn't take credit for something she didn't do. Rabid was oddly calm, but in a way that was understandable.

Hmm.
"That is odd..." Rapunzel mused out loud. "But maybe that's because he's so young, you know, and motherless?" She shrugged her shoulders - CoMC wasn't her best subject. "Perhaps Professor Clark will be able to explain it better," Punzle said, her eyes twinkling. "Or maybe....Rabid's a magic badger."
