"There's more than one?"Reese said."Oh."She smiled.

Qaz hadn't come across anything of importance, except for her tabby, Hijinx. He was out looking for something to eat when she ran into him.

Qaz explained the mission to her cat and he went off on a hunt of his own. She doubted that he would come across something, but there was the possibility. He was very intelligent, as cats go.

HiJinx loved to hunt. He'd rather track down a mouse or two, but clues are what he was told to find, so clues would be found. He wandered around through the trees and bushes, Mistress at his heels, hoping to find something useful. He came across something soft which smelled bad. He let out a loud, 'Neyauw'

Qaz heard HiJinx call, so she ran right over. He had found something. 'That's a good boy,' she said as she stroked his back. It looked like a Hufflepuff scarf. It could be very important, so she called out, 'Professor, we found a Hufflepuff scarf'

"Yup," Emma said with a nodd as she overheard the girl, "There's quite a few actually, only I don't know if finding anything of their's is going to help them much..." she added with a soft sigh.

"Okay,"Reese said."One of the students was wearing glasses.I think."

Cassandra saw something under a bush... She bent down and pulled it out. It was a blue notebook, with a hippogryff on it. It had been rained on and some of the words inside had melted away. There was a lot orange and black fur stuck to the binding.

"Professor!" Cassandra called Lainey, "Isn't Alexis Chosen one of the students that went missing?" She said handing the notebook to her professor.

Emma was crawling around on the grass when she heard that Slytherin girl asked the Professor if Alexis had gone missing, "Yeah, she's in my house, did you find something of hers?" she asked the girl.

As she stood up, she noticed something on the ground. It looked like a very small, black mouse. She bent down closer. It wasn't a mouse...it was a clump of hair. Black cat hair.

"Professor!" she called, rushing up to her, "I think Monica Black has been around this area."

Curt couldn't help but think of his freind Alexis, and nearly fell over in excitement when the Slytherin prefect mentioned that she had found her notebook. Curt ran over to her, and looking down to it, "Yes that is Alexis's alright. Where was it?" he said, his eyes bugging out of his head, the thought of leprechauns leaving his mind once and for all.

It suddenly struck Ponessa--This had nothing at all to do with Leprachauns, but with the missing students. As soon as she had handed off the buckle, she deserted all thoughts of everything else except for the students--Except for Henrick.

Lainey transfigured her over-turned bolder into a large bucket. "Put all you find in this bucket! We'll go through it later for ... leprechauns.." Lainey smiled and strolled over to Cassandra. "Flip to the back, Cass. See what's on the last page." Hope Alexis didn't mind...

Reese walked over and put the glasses in the bucket.

Emma carefully picked up the cat fur--it felt really weird between her fingers--and dropped it in the bin, then resumed her search for more clues.

Ponessa tried to think:

What did he have on him before he dissapeared? He probably had the quill she gave back to him that day, and... His mint tin!

Her sudden epiphany made her jump in place, as though she had been struck by a bludger. Henrick's Coffin-shaped mint tin could be somewhere around here! He always kept it on him! She rolled up her sleeves and dove under the bush again.

"This might be her notebook..." Cassandra said looking at the pages...

"Just down by that bush..." she said. She was reading some of the notebook. Cassandra didn't know much about this gryffindor... She seemed pretty smart, but by all the notes on the sides, she also seemed really... hyper.

Cassandra nodded... she hated being called Cass, but she wasn't about to call Lainey on it. "It says:"

Qaz picked up the scarf and deposited it in the bucket as instructed...then went to look some more.

HiJinx didn't like all the commotion, but he continued to search the grounds, making sure that he wasn't far from his Mistress. He could tell that strange things were happening. He didn't know what, but something wasn't right.

Qaz continued to walk around the grounds, looking for more evidence of the missing students. She didn't understand what was happening, but she knew it couldn't be good. Even her tabby, HiJinx, was acting a little bit off. She wondered what he sensed.

Curt nodded to the Slytherin Prefect, Cassandra to be exact, although they werent on a first name basis. Curt sighed and ran over to the bush, looking all through it, and emerging emptyheaded, yet covered in leaves and brush. He walked over to the Professor and everyone else and said, "Nothin." simply and solomnly.

He was really starting to get worried now, and had been wanting to owl Alexis even though he knew if wouldn't do any good. Vannah was in knots as well, this just all had to be sorted out. He looked over to Windsong who had the Hufflepuff scarf and yelled over to her, "Hey Windsong, I think you might be on to something, lets have a look." he said, smiling. Hopefully everything would be sorted out soon enough. Curt looked up to Professor Lainey and asked, "Do you think they are still within the grounds?" he said, although he was slightly doubtful of it.

When Ponessa emerged, her arms were scratched a bit, and there were leaves in her silver hair, but she didn't care. She brushed off her clothes, "Nothing."

She then remembered something--Henrick loved to climb trees. It was a long shot, but it was possible...

She got herself a running start for the nearest tree and clasped onto the lowest branch, scrambling up into it. Even if she found nothing, she could get a birds-eye view, and perhaps could see something the others could not.

"Sorry Professor," Marco said, coming from behind a bush, "That boot is mine. I lost in my first year, when I was frolicking, as all first years are meant to do."

Lainey sighed over the notebook. "Very good, very good." Though, it wasn't really anything they didn't already know. Several students had been ill... "Keep that notebook for her. For when she comes back." Lainey smiled and went on searching, running the last words in the retrieved notebook through her head.

"Oh... well get your boot out of the bucket, Marco," Lainey laughed at him. "Never can have enough boots, I say." Lainey smiled. "Any one found in leprechauns yet?" Lainey didn't want to turn class into a sad-fest. "Maybe we should try to call them out.."

Marco laughed and took his boot out of the bucket. He sneakily threw it back into a bush.

Call them out? "Do you want us to do an Irish jig Professor?" he started doing some weird dance on the spot, hopefully that would draw them out.

Cassandra nodded. "Alright." she said to Lainey. Cassandra smirked as she looked at Marco coming out from behind a bush. She thanked her lucky stars she'd found the notebook before Marco had disappeared.

"Call the leprechauns? Uhmmm how do you do that Professor? They don't want to get caught..." she said. Plus that she really didn't want to be near the horcruxes...

Reese glanced at Marco and laughed.

HiJinx kept searching and soon came upon a big feather. He loved to play with feathers. He picked it up and tossed it, then ran after it. He did this several times...such fun.

Qaz noticed that her tabby had found something to play with. Upon closer inspection, she found that it was a quill. It might be inportant, or it might not. She knew HiJinx would not want to give up his new toy, but there was no way around it. She retrieved the quill, much to the displeasure of her cat. She walked over and dropped it in the bucket, then went back to find her cat...she knew he was a bit upset, but a little TLC would take care of that.

Ponessa saw the Qaz's cat playing with the quill. After it was dropped in the bucket, she jumped down, deserting the tree, and inspected the Quill. She wasn't sure if this could be it or not. She made a mental note of this and put it back in the bucket.

Leprechauns? I'm not going to look for Leprechauns, Emma thought to herself. She continued to look behind bushes and such, but there was nothing else around, "Come out, little Leprechauns," she said, trying to make it seem like she was interested in the lesson, "Come out, come out, wherever you are!"

James searched the grounds. This was IMPOSSIBLE! Really, Leprecauns! Under a rock, over a tree, behind a boulder, etc. ect. There was nothing to be found...."Hey, I found a Slytherin...." He said, not knowing what type of clothing it was "uh....piece of clothing....." he said, turning it around.
