Xana returned carefully carrying the two tiger lily plants. She handed one to Dia and gestured for her to join her at the table with Ponessa.

'Urgh!' Just the three of them? She expected Clauds to be here at least. - Ems really was sitting at the stupid table. Erikson may as well just glue dunces hats to all of their heads. She eyed Kayla and Marco before looking at Professor Erikson as he gave instructions. ‘Right. Drainage. Got it. Ems eyed her pot suspiciously. She was rubbish with plants. She just had to look at them and they would wilt. But she had to at least try.

She wandered over to the rocks and carefully selected some small ones before arranging them neatly in the bottom of her pot; and then awaited futher instructions.

Kayla raised her eyebrows at Emily. "You know I don't like being stuck at this table with you either but I'm making an effort. So stop giving us looks as though we're stupid or something" Kayla muttered angrily.

Right rocks. Where did they go again? In the bottom. He stuffed some in. Well that was simple enough. Anything else? Marco didn't think so.

Dia walked over after Xana and took the tiger lily, smiling at Ponessa.

Alex gets a pot and covers the bottom with gravel.

‘What what!’ Ems hadn’t said a word. She was happily arranging her rocks into a smiley face shape when Kayla snapped at her. She narrowed her eyes at the girl before concentrating on her rock face again. Fun. ..This lesson wasn't so bad after all.

Xana took a pot and assembled the small stones at the bottom for drainage.

Dia picked a pot and assembled small stones at the bottom as Xana was doing, partially wanting to be working with the other plants. They would, at the very least, be more interesting.

Cassandra accio'd a pot to her desk and covered the bottom of it with stones and a few marbles. The marbles were her idea... they were pretty and shiny... She smiled at it, then smiled at her boyfriend. "Did you need help, Alex?" she asked.

"Now now, everyone's at a different level. Aside from Marco, you weren't here the term that I covered repotting. I don't expect everyone to know it upon walking into my classroom. Marco..." He glanced at the boy. "Just seems to forget everything that has the word 'plant' attached to it. He's not on the level of killing the Amore, but he's close."

"Now, go ahead and have a small layer of pebbles over the rocks. Once you have that done, fill the pot about a third of the way with some potting soil."

Continuing his lesson... "Lesser curses that do not leave an individual mark just become dark marks on the blossom, or darken the plant. Some will become so dark that they are nearly black. I mentioned before that plants will have colors Dependant on base personality. They MAY have more than one color to them. Orange streaked with yellow, for instance. A blossom with red touching the edges means for a person who has been through enough that they have built a barrier between them and the outside world."

Juniper took a pot and carefully dropped some small rocks into the bottom of it. Then she lay some pebbles on top of the rocks, and finally added the potting soil.

Alex growled a little, dumping out his gravel out and putting bigger stones on the and smaller stones on top. "Had it backwards." He muttered.

Kayla put some soil into her pot to the required measurement and waited for Professor Erikson again. She decided not to look at Emily, otherwise she just might snap.

Okay...wrong. James took everything out, put rocks in, then gravel, and put everything back in. Then he readjusted it so it would look neat. There...maybe it was finished and he would get a good grade. Maybe.

Qaz began the repotting procedure as instructed.

'Just like back home,' she thought. She had repotted houseplants many times. She rather missed them. Small rocks, pebbles, potting soil, mixed with a little fertilizer. Back home, she used potting soil with the fertilizer already mixed in...with maybe some coffee grounds or egg shells.

Daphne was about to dump in some fertalizer, when she saw some students grabbing rocks and pebbles first. Daphne put down the bag, and walked over the picked up a handful of pebbles, trying to appear like she had planned this all along. She returned to her workspace and dropped the rocks, then pebbles into her pot. She forgot how loud falling pebbles could be. The room was full of the noise.

She then added in the fertalizer. Unsure of which would be the best, she just picked the bag with the prettiest color. Purple would do nicely, she thought to herself.

Emily looked over at Marco and couldn’t help a wee smirk. Perhaps that boy should fill his head with more than just quidditch, women and hot air.

Ems grabbed a handful of pebbles and thinly spread them over her smiley face rocks. She then poured some soil on top. She smiled slightly - this was actually quite therapeutic.

Liz looks around at everyone's pots, seeing how far each one was on their pot.

Glancing at her plant, and looking on to Emily, she does a double take as she sees some petals changing color!

With no particular vigour, Claudian took a handful of the rocks and layed them on the bottom of the pot. Then he added the pebbles and filled the pot about a third of the way with the soil.

Marco looked at his pot. He blinked at it. Erikson was insinuating that he was stupid. It was true when it came to plants, but the Professor should at least have some faith. He picked up a handful of little rocks, and stuck them on the top of the big rocks. Then he needed soily stuff. He wiped his hands on his robes and picked up a handful of soily stuff. He dropped it in. Only two more handfuls and he would be done. He chose a different colour of soily stuff and dropped that in. And then a final colour, it would be pretty. He didn't know what the colours meant, but it could be fun for them to mix.

Kayla watched as Marco put in three different soil types and opened her mouth to tell him that it was just supposed to be the one kind of soil and then closed her mouth again and shrugged. What did she know, she was at the dumb table wasn't she?

Armand smiled softly at Emily relaxing into the potting process. She might actually enjoy the practical portions of this class. He looked at Marco who was just choosing colors of soil. He chuckled lightly. At least it wouldn't hurt the plant.

"Alright, gently get the plant from the pot it's currently in. You want to make sure not to break up the soil, or you could damage the roots. Place it centered in the pot, then put soil around the sides and a little on the top of the old soil. Get a 5-10-10 fertilizer from the table and sprinkle it lightly on the top. Please use a scoop to do it so it doesn't get on your hands."

He looked around at the rest of the class. "Are there further questions about this plant?"

How many colors can the petals change, or is it just 1, or many...

Alex waved his wand a levitated his Plant into his pot, not dropping a spec of dirt. "you get practice dealing with dirty diapers of siblings." he smiled getting the fertilizer and spreading around int he same way.

"Professor, how long till they bloom?" he asked eyeing his plant.
