The weather was still cool and a bit breezy two days after the nasty storm passed through. But at least it wasn't raining for the exhibition game and that made Max smile as he strode out onto the pitch in his resplendent officiating robes.

The rosters for the game were already on display and he nodded at the entrance for both teams to fly onto the pitch.

Agie was nervous as she flew onto the pitch. She looked over for her sister and gave her a nod. She was ready to get those snitches.

Callie saw the nod and looked at her team mates. It was time to fly. She mounted her broom and waited until her turn arrived.

Finally it was and she flew out onto the pitch and started circling around taking in the moment.

Macadrian flew out on to the pitch, waving like a rockstar as the crowds cheered. She had a feeling they were actually cheering for the professional players and not so much for the staff, but either way, she grinned and flew around the pitch like it was all for her. Her hair in a high ponytail, her eyes squinted into her game face - Mac was ready. Game on!

Lance felt strange to be back at Hogwarts, he had to admit that it have been a while since the last time but nothing had change. Everything was still the same but now he was leading his team. As he fly onto the pitch, he took a look back to see if everyone was following.

Evzen followed the others onto the pitch, staring at his feet. He just couldn’t understand why he’d been asked to participate in this exhibition match, as he was not an exceptionnal player and, in all honesty, didn’t particularly enjoy the game. The only thing he could exhibit was his clumsiness, but that couldn’t be a good thing, he thought sadly. He shot a glance at his captain and sighed loudly, clutching his old broomstick even more tightly. The boy had been told he should feel proud to have been selected, but the only thing he could feel at that moment was his diner trying to make its way back through his digestive system. Ugh.

Arobas had never been more ready for a quidditch match. He was confident in his team, as well as in himself. He climbed onto his broom, and kicked off, flying towards his position on the pitch, his orange robes flapping behind him,a grin appearing on his face.

Kerry nervously grabbed hold of her broom and took flight into the air. It was still very surreal for her to be flying among everyone. As she heard the crowd cheer, she had to do her best not to let herself get starstruck as she soared higher and higher.

Looking over to Agie, she gave her a smile and whispered good luck and then turned to focus on the game. She was eager to get started, and couldn't wait to soar down that pitch!

Marco felt even more nervous than a normal game. He mounted his broom and flew out onto the field.

Professor Kyle Carter flew out onto the pitch and zoomed up into the air, in perfect control of his favorite broom. He was super excited to be playing again - even if it wasn't his position that he had in school as Keeper, he was still playing his new favorite position, Seeker. Last term when they realized how swift and accurate he was, he would never play any position but. He circled the pitch a few times, waving to a few Ravenclaw admirerers before coming to a stop near the rest of his team. Adrenaline rushed through his veins.

As soon as the official signal was given, Angela flew out onto the pitch to join her teammates. This was going to be a great experience! It had been a time since she had last played, but all she needed was a few minutes to warm up.

Drawing in a few deep breaths, Angela made a lap around the pitch, tossing a wave to some of the students. It was all for fun, but she definitely felt that competitive edge. She was ready.

Fabian arrived to the pitch wearing his fluorescent rubber knee high boots with his purple Quidditch robes. He beamed and waved at everyone on the pitch. He had a pillow under one hand and a beater bat in the other.

"Hello Max!" he bellowed at his friend, then waved the pillow at Marco, "MARCO! your pillow is right here ... if you ever need it" he chuckled before resting it on the side line .. catching Macadrian across the pitch. He let a cough debating whether to go speak with her. Nay, it was more dangerous out here.

He mounted his broom after resting the pillow on the grass and zoomed above center line eying the other team intently.

Marco was about to fly to his hoops when he heard Fabian's voice.

"It's ok Professor. I think you may be the one that will need it." With a grin he began to circle his posts.

The crowd in the stands went wild as each player flew out onto the pitch and his futile attempt at announcing each player failed since the crowd noise drowned out his voice. It took nearly fifteen minutes for the noise to settle down and Vindidctus strode out to the center of the pitch. With a swift kick, the equipment box opened and another few kicks released the Bludgers and Snitch into the air. In his hands, he held a Quaffle and addressed both teams.

"Now, I want a clean game from both teams. You all know the rules and the penalties that happen when you break them," he said to the players who were all hovering in place above him. "Since the Hogwarts Staff team made a roster change, the Professionals will receive 10 points for the penalty." He waited a moment and then continued. "Ready? On my whistle . . . three . . . two . . . one . . . ." A shrill whistle pierced the air and the red Quaffle was tossed into the air between the Chasers on both teams.

Remember, the first Quaffle question is open to both teams Chasers only.
