Did she just mispronounced the name of the thing. That was no good so she just slouched in her chair hoping no one noticed.

Saylie thought back to the professor's question and added, "Oh, and the subconscious number is the number of numbers represented in your name...take 9 and subtract your debts, then you have your subconscious number. It reflects your confidence and your personal competence."

After raising her hand, Anna replied, "Your Hidden Passion number represents one or more specific skills and strengths that are available for you to use. It's pretty much what you possess within you that will guide your life properly. This number gives you your talent and expertise that you should concentrate on in order to shape your life properly. When this talent exists within you, it provides you with a strong desire and an urge to develop and express that ability and experience it in a manner that will shape your personality and guide your life. To find it, all you have to do is lay out your full birth name, assign each letter the appropriate number (from chapter 2 of the textbook) and determine the number that is repeated most often. Saylie raised her hand with a question, "My subconscious number is 7, and I noticed at the end that it says that I might be a loner and do not easily share feelings with others. Could that be the influence that causes the 16/7 abuse of love?" Saylie was trying to work out the interconnectedness of all of the numbers, and was beginning to see patterns woven through them, but she wanted to make sure that the patterns she was seeing were really there, that she wasn't just making them up.

Alexandra noticied Hitachi getting frustrated.. I feel the same way. But it will all make sense in time.. But don't give up. This might not be your strongest class. I did hear you are great in D.A.D.A class (dueling).

Qaz studied her entries...pleasure seeker and overindulgence in Hidden Passions...was that ever the truth. Her subconsious was pretty close, too...although she was pretty sure that she didn't have a business like demeanor.

Now if this is acurate, I do need to be careful around others. But this also explains why I get so frusted when I try and had not gotten any house points yet for Ravenclaw , it probably would help once I take more that 2 classes and I need to remember I am still in my first year..

Ariana felt like banging her head aagaisnt the desk in a vain attempt to understanding all the Arthimancy before her. She was in complete and uttter shock at how easy everyone else was understanding everything, even the new students and she sighed, placing her quill on her desk and calm down.

A few minutes later she set to work, starting a fresh new page in her journal. She already had her core numbers, which was good, but now she had to figure out everything else. It all seemed easy enough, at least for everyone else. Sometimes she felt like she wasn't meant for Ravenclaw, surely she wasn't bright enough. Shaking the sad thought from her mind she began working.

Feeling like she had completely mised the whole lesson she hurridly did the last parts, finding her hidden passion number and Subconcious number. This should be easy enough she thought writing furiously.

She read it slowly and blinked. "I do not attract attention!" She murmured, slightly miffed at the analysis. Shaking her head, she found her subconcious number by looking for how many numbers she had in the analysis. "Hmm, six numbers huh?" She whispered, weiring this odwnn in her journal.

After what she thought was a sufficient amount of time, Professor Shackleton returned to the front of the room and announced, "Alright, folks. I think that is enough for today. We covered a lot in today's lesson and I'm very proud that majority of you were able to keep up and understand. Also, I recommend rereading the textbook and recalculating your own numbers just to be sure you've done them correctly.

Hitachi hastily grabbed his things and left the classroom. "Bye professor!" He said. At this rate, he was going to fail Arithmancy.

Qaz put her journal and quill into her bag and headed towards the door. Before she left, she turned to the Professor and said, 'Thank you Professor. It was a great lesson.'

"Thanks Professor!" Saylie replied, feeling yet another *click* of understanding fall into place. She gathered her books together and tucked them and her quill into her bag and left the class, proud of her accomplishments and eager to learn more.
