Transfiguration Study and Experimentation Room
 

Next to Professor Pride's office is a larger room divided into two areas. The first looks almost like a library, a large bookcase full of books, with titles from 'Transfiguration Every Prankster Should Know' to 'Transfiguration, A Useful Tool', and a few tables and chairs complete with a plate of cookies on each. Plus one table against the back wall with a teapot and cups.

The otherside of the room was shelves filled with many everyday objects, and a few empty tables with unbreakable glass around them, with safety glasses and a charmed, protective jumper on each. This was obviously a place to practice your Transfiguration without injuring anyone else. Above the tables was a sign,

Torie opened the door to the Transfiguration Experimentation room. No Professor Pride here. Torie's eyes scanned the room quickly. Nothing amiss that she could see, although, there did seem to be quite a few gaps on the bookshelf, but that was nothing really suspicious. This was a school after all, and many teachers were kind enough to lend books to students. Torie shut the door and continued on her way, the small trunk held nestled against her chest.

Xana slipped up into the Transfiguration study and experimentation room and scanned the book titles:


'Simply Switching.... Transfiguration Today... Animating the Inanimate...' she read silently, biting her lip. 'nothing that will help me.'

She silently slipped back out of the lab.

Cassandra walked into the Transfiguration Lab. Pride was still in her office. She got to work with decorating it with streamers and ribbons of Green and silver. Then placed a banner that read, "Once a snake, always a snake. Slytherin House thanks you for a wonderful term!"

Cassandra had always liked professor Pride... She put up some pictures of penguins with a green hue undertone.

Xana joined Cassandra in the decorating spree. "I didn't realize Professor Pride was a Slytherin. That explains a lot." She grinned as she hung streamers.

"One of the best..." She thought smirking. She summonned an atlas that was charmed to transfigure itself into a penguin plushy when touched. "I hope she likes it... she's not been... herself lately."

"What's wrong with her, if it's not prying... and-- what's the deal with penguins?"

Cassandra smirked as if she had an inside joke... "I have no clue, but nothing..." she said looking over the room. She had missed Waddles this term, Pride's pet penguin... he hadn't been around... maybe that's why she was moody.

"Are you finished?" We should head to the next professor's office.

"Yep!" She said, pausing to admire their work. "Where to?" she asked, following Trelawney.

"Branxton... He was Slytherin Head of house when I was a first year..." Cassandra said leaving the lab.
