15!,Derek thought,That is sooo unfair

Amelia nodded, she still felt really bad though for having the professor teach the class barefoot. But fortunately she did not seem to mind, and just dropped the subject. "I understand," she said, rather quietly.

She rolled her eyes over at the group of students who seemed to think this was a leisure lesson. The students never learn, do they? Well, now this required some intervention - another 5 points were lost from Hufflepuff! She pointed her wand at her robes, muttering Tergeo, and instantly they were cleaned and smelled a whole lot better too.

Then she did something she never thought she would do, and sat down right next to Kayla and a Slytherin boy, whom she did not know. Whispering to Kayla, "Look, if you can't keep quiet on your own in class, then I will sit here. We can't afford to lose anymore points."

Ariana winced slightly as Hufflepuff and Slytherin both lost points, feeling horrible. She though she'd have a conversation with the professor about it later, in private since now wasn't the time. She watched as Amelia got up from beside her and moved to sit with the student who lost the points.

Pointing her wand at her robes, which were still glowing she murmured, "Finite" and they stopped. Bending down, she began writing small notes about the things they learned today, including how not to talk in class. "Um, Professor, would it be alright if I practised the 'Oppugno' spell? I missed the lesson on it and wanted to learn how to do it." She asked, looking at her.

Kayla was just about to ask Tance a question when the Professor started yelling at them and took points off them. She shrunk down into her seat, her face going red she'd just lost Hufflepuff 5 points and to make matters worse Amelia had now made a point of sitting beside her and scolding her.

She looked up at her guiltily. 'Sorry' she mouthed and turned her attention back to the Professor. Yep this day was just getting better all the time.

Tanceren stared down at the floor in embarassment. Kayla just lost house points because of him. He felt so bad. Tance just sat there staring at the floor. And what was this?! 15 house points?! That was so unfair. What, did she have some thing against Slytherins? Tance took A deep sigh then turned to face the front and put his head down on the desk. This was so stupid..

Rebecca sat at the back of the class and she gasped when the desk turned to water and back again, "Professor, how do you change it back? Whats the spell?"

Kayla looked at Tance and she felt really bad for him, it was her fault that they had gotten points taken from them. If she hadn't started that argument then none of this would have happened. She wanted to tell him she was sorry but knew she couldn't talk in class, Amelia would throw a fit and the Professor would probably give her detention. She thought about writing him a note but knowing her she would get caught. Kayla sighed maybe she could catch up with him after class, she was really starting to like him she knew he would just look at her as some silly first year but she couldn't help it.

"Yeah. Those aurors sucked. They couldn't even get us to go to Azkaban." she gave Josh a look. He looked as if either he didn't believe her, or that he didn't really enjoy the story, but she didn't really care too much. "Yes. Many a time, my friend, many a time." she shook her head.

Cassandra growled under her breath at the three Slytherins who'd lost the points. Why can't they stop chatting in class! Her hand shot in the air "Professor... I have a question." She smiled, "Is there anything I can do in the class to make up those 15 points? Maybe practice the silencio charm of some of my fellow house mates?"

Diabolica narrowed her eyes at Cassandra. 'Prat...' she hissed softly to herself in Parseltounge. "Professor, I don't think Cassandra silencing us would be quite fair. If anyone, you should, but a fellow student silencing us could cause...rivalry. Could we earn a few extra house points by showing how much we've learned in your class over the years by being able to transfigure Cassandra into an animal and back?" she glanced at Cassandra.

Josh laughed as he then raised his hand," What if we transform her into a beast and back?' he then said under his breath to Dia," thats what she looks like anyway.' He smirked as he chuckled.

Cassandra looked over to Diabolica and Josh... She smiled an evil smile. Diabolica didn't know... she wasn't going to let her know... then she turned to the professor. "Professor Pride, if you are willing to allow them to earn the points they lost for our house, I don't mind being transfigured." Much worse had been done to her before this. "As long as you supervise professor." Cassandra was willing to sacrifice her pride to get those points back... even by letting Diabolica and Josh transfigure her.

"Ok, then," Dibolica smirked. "Last term, professor, I was very curious about your class, and so I looked up how to transfigure humans into animals." sh raised her wand and pointed it at Cassandra. "Mind if I demonstrate?" she asked politely. She winked at Josh. "Blattodea Formosis," she muttered, using a version that she had experimented with. A red beam of light came from the end of her wand, landing on Cassandra. Slowly but surely, she transfigured into a german cockroach. Diabolica smiled.

Diabolica snickered. "So true, so true...little prat," she muttered. "She's more like a cockroach than a beast, though. Small. Helpless." she grinned at him.

Josh laughed as she transformed into a measly bug." I would hate for someone to step on her." he said with a smirk. " What a shame that would be. " he teased as he turned back to his notes.

"Go right ahead my dear."
"Solinus usually works." Danni answered with a smile.
Danni smiled, "Homework will make up for your housemates short comings Cassandra."
Danni was about to respond to Diabolica's question with a no when the girl went and transfigure Cassandra without permission. "HOW DARE YOU DO THAT IN MY CLASSROOM!" Danni yelled, completly losing her temper and accidentally setting her desk on fire. "Never, never transfigure another student unless A. Given permission and B. properly trained in the spell! Detention and 20 points from Slytherin! And trust me my dears it pains me to take away points from my own house, but until its students learn some respect and sense, I have to." Danni waved her wand and Transfigured Cassandra back to her true form.

By the time she was finished with her piece, Danni was bright red in the face. She quickly extinguished her burning desk and said, "Any other questions?"

Diabolica watched, her mouth almost agape. "But--professor--I was just trying to earn points for my house by showing that while we were talking--though a grievous mistake we will never do again--that we were paying attention!" she pleaded. Merlin's beard. Bloody detention, while only trying to earn house points. Diabolica's other side had gotten te best of her...

"Thank you, Professor" Cassandra said as she returned to her old self. Great... 20 more points... Diabolica was the worst example of a Slytherin she could think of. How is this an example of ambition? determination? At least she is getting detention.

"I should take another 5 for treating a Professor like she is stupid." Danni said coldly, "I could plainly see, and hear, your contempt for Cassandra before and after you sent the spell. I do not miss much and I am not stupid missy, and it would do you well to remember that."

Diabolica was about to say something, her eyes blazing, when she figured there was nothing she could do about it. "I'm sorry, professor," she muttered.

Rapunzel gaped and stared from Diabolica to the professor and back again. 'Holy smokes, she just landed herself a detention!' Rapunzel thought. Too bad she hadn't been able to warn Diabolica.....poor kid.

Marco watched as Cassandra was turned into a cockroach and back again. He moved swiftly to Cassandra's side, attempting to block her from any other attack. He was glad Diabolica had finally gotten a detention.

Are they're any other questions?" Danni asked clearly still seething.

Willow watched the whole scene feeling amused and at the same time bad because Slytherin had lost 35 points in one single class, yet, she couldnt stop feeling relieved that Ravenclaw haven't loose any points, "as if we needed to.." she thought bitterly to herself, remembering that they were in the forth place, behind hufflepuff for over 200 points.

Diabolica looked at her friend and gave a puzzled shrug. She knew she would have a detention someday--she just had saw it coming.

Marco glared at Diabolica, how dare she transfigure Cassandra. That was strike two on his list of more reasons to hate people. The only person that was above her was the witch that had tried to kill him twice.
