Patrick entered the Transfiguration classroom. his mood was looking up after his brief tiff with Whende. He swung himself into a third row seat. He dug around in his cluttered, over-stuffed bag finally producing two sheaves of parchment, an empty inkwell and a broken quill. "Oh, crud," he said getting up to toss away the quill and inkpot. Then he tapped the person sitting next to him on the shoulder, "Excuse me, d'you have an extra quill and ink?" he asked.

Laylee looked around at everyone mingling and sitting togethe. She couldnt help but feel lonely. Her friends were no where to be found and she wasnt sure they were liking her much at the moment anyway.

Patrick turned around so fast he almost cricked his neck. Rosalie. And Cassandra. But mostly Rosalie. He hadn't seen her in ages. He sort of half-waved at her and then at Cassandra. But seeing Cassandra made him think. What was DeLuca going to do to Cassandra? Should he warn her? Should he follow her after class? When slid in the back of the class room. She sighed, relieved that the class hadn't started yet. At first she was headed toward a seat in the middle of the room. Then her span of sight fell onto Patrick. She stopped and chewed on her lower lip.
He'd apoligized for the insensitivity thing. They'd hugged. It was pretty much Hakuna Matata. And she still hesitated to bounce up there and sit next to him. She was still trying to talk herself into it when she got completely distracted.
"Alie!" She squeaked. She stopped mid-hop, spotting Ryder. "Ooooooh. Alie is occupied." Whende giggled.

Rosalie squeeled quietly, hugged Whende again, then returned to her seat, leg tucked beneath herself once more. This was indeed shaping up to be a pretty good day.
Picking up her quill, she dipped it in the green ink, and wrote across the top of the parchment: Transfiguration lesson 2.

Whende beamed, now in much higher spirits than she'd been in when coming into the class. Sit by him, weirdo. She bounced through the seats and sat down in the desk next to Patrick.
Really, what was her problem lately? She did a quick scan around the room for Raven Girl, just in case before gently prodding him in the shoulder and mouthing the word "hi."
