Ray rose his wand and muttered "Oppugno!" as soon as he finished two little cats appeared from nowhere, he thought of a command "Jump!" He thought and both of the cat jumped. Ray smiled it was going to be easier now, he tought of an other command and suddenly the two cats run towards him and jumped on him, he caught them with his hands, they were the coolest thing ever but he needed to do something more difficult. He placed them on the floor after scratching them behing there ears, and pointed his wand at them as he thought "Finite!"
He pointed his wand again and muttered "Oppugno!" a lion appeared next to him, he flicked his wand again while thinking "oppugno!" and an eagle appeared circling above him, he flicked his wand again and a snake appeared under him, he flicked his wand again and a badger appeared. Ray thought of same command "Approach each other" and the animals did. Ray gave an other command and all the animal approached there heads from each other, the lion, the snake, the eagle and the badger were touching each other's head.
Hey everyone, look it's the hogwarts logo he said, he laughed as he watched the animals touching each other, he proved himself again by demonstrating another one of his great talents.

Saylie gasped and nodded to the professor. She had never been in trouble before. Her eyes almost teared up but she managed to keep from it and bit her lip. She hadn't meant to lose Ravenclaw any points and couldn't believe that she'd been so careless. Never in her eleven years had she felt quite this stupid, so she just made the cub sit still and waited for the next instructions, vowing to never get in trouble in class again.

Claudian watched Cassandra, with what appeared to be considerable disgust, as the snake slid up her body. His serene face, twisted in an icy, angry expression. Why did she keep trying to speak to him. He had given her no indication that he was alright with that since the Slytherin 101 class. He thought about moving away from her again, but she would be no wiser for this action and why waste the energy. Ignorance surely is bliss. Little she knew, little she cared.

"Right." He said at her informing suggestion. Trying to not care about her as much as she appeared to not care about him. He then turned his attention towards the Hufflepuff who, apparently was very good at the spell Professor Pride was teaching them. He gave a small, nearly inaudible laugh of amusement, as he again tried the spell.

"Oppugno." He swished. And, then a mongoose. Well, he couldn't have expected his mind to be completely clear of the girl. He sighed and he and the mongoose stared into one anothers' eyes for an uncomfortably long time. "Go and get me a butterbeer." He commanded it directly. With an inch-hopping locomotion, the mongoose had left to do the task it was asked.

Cassandra continued telling her cobra what to do. It was beautiful and regal... but she now seemed uninterested. "Finite!"

She rolled her eyes at they boy's new animal. Chicken... she thought to herself. But for some reason, Claudian was getting under her skin... first with Diabolica, now here... Why was he ignoring her. Was it because she kissed him? She did that for HIM as well as for herself, and Slytherin.

Cassandra watched as the mongoose left... Butterbeer? In Class? She didn't like that he had shown cowardness in the face of his own cojured animal. She pointed her wand again and with the proper hand movements she said "Oppugno!" And there is was. No longer a cub, the Tigress stood tall and proud before her ready to do her every whim.

Cassandra looked at Claudian and then to the Tigress. She commanded the tigress, and it turned fierceness in its eyes looking at its new target. It stalked Claudian like pray, walking back and forth before him, its eyes fixed on his. Cassandra decided not to speak to him. The tigress would do Cassandra's bidding, and he needed to watch it.

Excelsior stroked the soft, silky hair of his beautiful fox and looked around at what the other students were doing. There were definitely some issues going on here, all of which he chose to stay uninvolved in.

Foxes were such perfect animals, he thought, so beautiful and so clever, definitely the best animal of all.

Idly, he thought about his dreams of one day achieving becoming an animagus, a beautiful fox like this one, only able to change back into Excelsior whenever he wanted to. He smiled, that was his dream.

Ray looked as the tigeress of Cassandra, a fifth year slytherin girl he knew from the duelling arena, he looked at his lion and ordered him by thoughts to intercept the tigeress way and stand between it and the boy. The lion jumped and stood between the tigeress and the boy.
"Cassandra! What are you trying to do" Ray asked as he ordered his eagle to circle around him, and made the badger dig a hole and hide. The only animal ray left behind was the serpant he didn't know what Cassandra can do with his serpant, better leave him out of this.

Rebecca looked around the room everyone seemed to have big animals and she only had a canary "Right then an interesting animal" Rebecca muttered to herself,then suddenly she was struck by an idea "A dove, how cool would that be?" she instantly cried "Oppugno" and watched a white dove fly out of her wand.

He could hear it. Subtle chortling. Feel and smell it's hot breath behind him. That sick little witch! He turned around and faced her. He eyed the tigress, the actual tigress, for a moment and considered why she was doing this.
"Trelawney,", not Cassandra, and not Tigress, but Trelawney. "If you're trying to scare me, or gain my attention, you needn't resort to conjured beasts." And he left it at that. Not wanting to get into it, because as it was, their conversation could be 5 points from Slytherin. He tried not to flinch, the Tigress, though conjured could still inflict harm and from where he stood, Cassandra wanted to do him harm.

He might've said something they'd both regret, but the Hufflepuff boys Gryffindor lion now stood between him and the tigress Tigress had conjured. This could get ugly....er.

"Let's just get back to practicing the spells and basic command?" He rubbed his temple.

Excelsior saw the trouble brewing between Cassandra and Claudian, now another boy was involved in it, too. He wanted to take his fox with him and leave quickly, but all he could do was sit and watch the drama unfold.

He hoped it wouldn't result in Slytherin losing any points.

Cassandra loathed Hufflepuffs... not because that's what they were, but because NOT ONE of the ones she met had been nice to her. Arrogant, ill tempered and all around gits... that's what she had come to know them as.

Cassandra ignored Ray and turned to the adult in the room. "Professor Pride? Was the assignment not to perform the Oppugno spell, and control the animal conjured?" She was indeed doing that...

"I don't know what you are talking about, Slughorn." She smirked something evil and the Tigress began to purr. It walked back towards her and rubbed herself on her legs... "Good girl..." she praised the Tigress. She knelt to the animal and rubbed it's jaw line.

She then looked to Professor Pride. "Professor, are we conjuring real animals? Or are these just from our immagination." Cassandra stood up and pointed her wand. "Finite!" The tigress dissapeared. "What I am asking is, could I conjure... Waddles? I don't mean a penguin, but your Waddles?" Cassandra hadn't had time to play with the professor's penguin... she missed him a bit.

"I just want to make sure that you want get hurt while I'm here! No one gets hurt in the presence of Helga Hufflepuff last descendant, and it's not going to start now, Im going to go back to practice but Im going to keep my lion with you" He said as he kept looking at Cassandra.
"Protect him with your life no matter what" He ordered the lion.
He ordered his other animals to come back to him and gave the badger a command to bring him water from his bag. He ordered by thought the eagle to keep circling around him and intercept any attack that he might take.

Claudian didn't know what to say. "Thanks?"

He looked extremely confused. He was. "I appreciate your effort, but in truth, we'd probably both just be better off waiting on the instructors word before pitting the conjured animals against one another."

It was at this moment that Claudian's conjured mongoose came back...with a fish...in it's mouth. He ran a hand down his face as the mongoose presented him with entirely the wrong thing. He gave a weak smile and patted the mongoose on the head. It was quite proud of it's work. He flicked his wand and got rid of it. "Finite."

"Okey as you wish" He pointed his wand at his animals and one by one they finished as ray repeated "finite" four times.

Isabella was still trying to conjure her animal. For some reason she still couldn't get the hang of it.
"Oppugno!" she said as she moved her wand slowly and then finished with a firm flick. Her wand gave off a puff of smoke.
"Oppugno!" she tried again. This time a snake came out of the end of her wand and started slithering across the floor.
She told it in her mind to come to her, and it did.

"That was the assignment and no, you would only conjure a penguin, not my Waddles." Danni called down with a sad smile, she missed her little Waddles but she didnt want that Ministry woman near him, you never knew what Ministry people were capable of.

"Homework is a paragraph on why you chose the animal you conjured today and give me a situation where that animal could be of some help. Class dismissed." Danni said loudly.

At that, Professor Pride turned into her animagus form, a boat-billed heron, and flew back down the her desk, hopping back and forth from one foot to the other as if anxious to get somewhere.

Rapunzel blinked as the Professor announced homework so suddenly. Really? Aaah, what a relief.

She packed her bags in a hurry, having completely forgotten about her badger, and briskly exited the classroom. Rapunzel barely even registered the fact that her professor had turned herself into a bird...she was so eager to get the Hades out of there.

Something's horribly wrong with Pride Cassandra thought to herself... maybe she would stop by her office later. She wrote down the homework, exited the classroom ignoring Slughorn all together.

Isabella packed up her things and walked out of the classroom, heading for Professor Erickson's office.

Tori watched with amazement as the teacher turned herself into a bird. Tori had never seen an animagus before. She copied down the homework and left the classroom, still thinking about the Professor's transformation.

Zoraida sat there watching the activity going on in the classroom. Ray who she remembered from the feast which was almost a time a long time ago made a hogwarts symbol out of animals. Which was cool and made Zora giggle a bit to herself.

Then she noticed some commotion among two of the older slytherins which somehow lead to Ray doing his son of Hufflepuff routine that she had seen at the feast. She thought it was funny. However the slythrin boy was smart and telling him to not pit the conjured animals against each other. Zora wondered if the animals could actually interact with each other and things however one of them came back with a fish so it was likely they could from her observations.

Zora wrote down the homework. Realizing she would have to think how to answer it. Then walked out of the classroom.

Laylee quickly picked up her things and smiled at Torie. "I wonder what type of help and bunny and an otter can be to me?" Laylee thanked the professor and walked out of the classroom....

Issy had been having fun with her Kneazle and didn't want the lesson to end, "Finite." She muttered sadly and watched as her little fluff ball disappeared, she rose from her seat and started walking towards the door, willing herself to remember that she had to remember to do the homework.

Diabolica smiled and started stuffing thingss into her already overfilled bag. She was always last out of class, and there were only a few people left, including a few Gryffindors, Ryan, and Claudian. She thought about turning Cassandra's hair Hufflepuff colors, but then decided she would do it next class.

"finite" she muttered to the eagle, before it dissapeared. Willow wrote the homework, packed her stuff and left the classroom after saying, "have a nice day professor"
