The Whomping Willow is a ferocious tree planted in the middle of the school grounds. Be careful not to accidentally stumble upon it for it will most likely injure you if you come close to its branches. This tree holds many secrets seeing it has been in the school for many years now. Around the tree is a carpet of attractive landscape that overlooks the entire castle grounds while being surrounded by mountains and the forbidden forest. A few large magically craved stones are scattered around the area for seating purposes. Take a walk, have a picnic or hang around to catch up on studying. Only watch out for those gnomes, they are school property and under no circumstance should they be harmed in anyway. | |

"Great. I'll let mother know right away. Yes, Excelsior is quite the gentlemen. Scarlett is my personality twin. I've known her since I was three. We're pretty much the same, though I think she's got a temper a bit worse than mine. She got herself detention by insulting the Hufflepuffs. She was just trying to get them back for trying to curse me, but she got herself in even more trouble." Camira laughed lightly while she said this. Everyone was scared of her and Scarlett. They were like the twin terrors.

“I’ll definitely be taking Astronomy”, Emily sighed. “..That Professor Forrester is a dreamboat…” She thought and she drifted off for a moment before saying, “And pretty much the same as you ...except I’m doing Muggle Studies as well.”

Curt walked out to the grounds once again, this time, as a third year. He walked as if he were walking towards the lake, before he decided he wanted to see the Whomping Willow.
Once he had finally arrived in front of it, he looked up to the gargantuan tree, it looked peaceful, yet, specifically menacing. Curt studied it from bottom to top, remerming reading an excerpt that it was possible to reach the shreiking shack from the great tree somehow. Curt studied every last detail, and still couldn't come up with how you could do that. Curt walk around and sat on a rock a fair distance away, looked around, trying to find someone he recognized.

Julian had been so observed in his thoughts he didn't notice the amount of students that were there until he heard voices of them chatting away.
He pulled out a picture from the pocket of his jacket. It was a picture of a pretty Muggle girl. Julian missed her very much. The reason why he told Claudian he wasn't ready for a girlfriend was her. He had lost her in a car accident only two weeks after they had started dating. He felt as if it were his fault, if he had been with her she might not have died. Julian put the picture back int his pocket. He didn't tell Claudian anything because he didn't feel like talking about it. He leant his head aginst the rock he was bracing on & closed his eyes. | |

While doing rounds around the school, Fabian came across what seemed a fight issuing, "Settle down!" he spoke up loudly walking up towards the students at a faster pace.
