Jayden gave a laugh and stopped doing push ups. He rolled over and laid beside Becky. Putting his hands underneath his head he looked up at the stars. It was starting to get late. Maybe he would stay out here for the night. Of course Becky was only a friend though...

"So what you going to do about you little boy proble," he said and gave a glance at her and smiled.

"i have absolutely no idea" Becky said looking over athim "i dont have an idea at all...Ryan told me that he still has strong feelings for me...but then he said i would get over him" becky looked up at the stars "i just don't know"

Jayden looked back at the stars. "Sounds to me like you already know what to do." he said half smiling. He had a feeling she did whether if she did or not.

"i..." becky stopped and looked over at Jayden "i want to be with Ryan...more than anything...i would do anything to be with him...but if he doesnt want to be with me then what's the point?"

Jayden rolled over on his side facing Becky and held his head up with his arm. "Doesnt hurt to try." he said giving a laugh.

ooc: Sorry! heading to bed.. 5:40 comes early...

"i have tried...i told him how i felt...and he feels the same way...i just..dont understand why it can't work...its all up to him now" she glanced away from him then looked back "i cant do much else...i just have to see what happens i guess...until then i have to try to act normal around sam because i cant tell him"

jayden looked at Becky. 'you know by not telling Sam... your kind of leading him on. not the best thing." he admitted. "I would tell him and wait it out."

Becky covered her face with her hands "i know i know...i told him before we went out that i still had feelings for Ryan...but..." she rolled over onto her stomach resting her head on her arms "i agreed to go out with him anyway...i knew that i still loved Ryan...i thought if i was with Sam long enough that maybe i would grow out of it" she buried her head in her arms and shook her head "and now all i've done is make things worse"

Jayden laughed. "Its not that bad. Youll be ok." he said smiling

Becky lifted her head "i need to go find Sam...you are right i have to tell him...it's going to hurt him though" she sat up and looked at Jayden "ill be back he is probably out at the lake" she stood up slowly "i catch up with you later to tell you how it went" she smiled slightly and headed toward the lake.

Becky returned a couple hours later looking extremely tired, her face looked as though she had been crying but wasn't any longer. She flopped down on the ground next to Jayden who was still sitting where she had left him. "i am destined to ruin people's lives...i did it to my parents i did it to Ryan i did it to Sam and i did it to myself" she had a headache from everything going through her head all at once and she put her hands up to her head "now i haven't got anyone"

Will sighed dramatically, emphising Ari's statement.

"Always with the sarcasm. You Welsh are odd..." William muttered, hinting hevially on the sarcasm.

Jayden didnt know what to say or do. All he could do was be there for her. He gave her shoulder a rub. "Hey dont be like that. So what? Theyll get over it." he said knowing that was probably not the right thing to say and regreted it as soon as the words were out of his mouth.

Becky looked over at him "my parents will never get over the fact that i am a witch, Ryan...well i don't even know what he thinks...and Sam...i just completely ruined his life...he really liked me and i just...i was just too into my own feelings that i didnt stop to think about anyone elses...ill probably end up doing something to you too...it's pretty much a given that all i do is hurt people i care about"

Jayden had an opening. "O so you car e about me huh? he said with a laugh. "I see... well we can either snog now or later what you wanna do?" he asked jokingly. "Then after we snog you can throw me away." he said and pushed her with his shoulder. "Hey chill everythings going to be ok. No worries." he said

Laylee looked at each of them. She carefully set her moms picture in her bag, smiling at it affectionately. "Come on Will, lets go.... try to fix your arm." Laylee wanted to get the two away from each other. They had both been extremely down lately, and around each other its even worse...

"you wish you could snog with me" Becky laughed "that would just cause me more problems" she smiled "yes i do care about you...you are a great friend and i would probably be a complete wreck by now if i didn't have you to talk to" she leaned over and gave him a soft peck on the cheek and smiled brightly "that is the closest you will get to me snogging you Jayden"

Kimberly cast Laylee a wry smile as the other girl detected her lie, it seemed as if everyone was hiding things today....
But then Kim's mind started to wander, "hey, do you know anything about Professor Erikkson's 'affair'? I've heard about it but don't really know the details, do you?". When your own life was filled with worries, it's always good to hear about others- just to try to get over your own. Perhaps that was why Kim was being so gossipy....

William sighed...

"I'll be fine, Laylee... I just... Maybe Robert was right after all... I am the loser compared with him..."

William walked straight towards the Whomping Willow and sat down--his head against the knot, using his left arm to try and force the right to 'snap back'.

Laylee sat down on a rock. There was too much tension...
Who was Robert??
Laylee just stared at him, her expressions not changing, waiting for him to say something encouraging. Everything around Laylee lately was making her depressed....

William noticed Laylee's depressed expression and tried to smile weakly.

"Don't worry. I am cursed. You are beautiful and will do well in life--even if it does not seem so now, and even if others disagree... It's what you think of yourself that counts..."

Laylee smiled at his attemp to tell her she was worth something. What she wanted was for him to be happy, not her.
"Will," she stood up and sat next to him. "youll do well in life too! Your handsome, wise, and kind! You need to see these things!" Laylee said smiling sadly. "You need to stop living in the past and what happened to you then..."

Ari hated scenes like this. Where she was left looking like the bad guy with no friends in the world. Why was Will so....so perfect? Why did he seem to have everyone on his side?

'Will...I'm sorry. You say you don't like change, and yet you seem to have changed. It threw me a bit...a lot, actually....and all I want to say is that I'm sorry for everything that's happened. I was in the wrong, and you were right. Good luck with Cressida or Laylee or whoever you're with. I'm off to do what you always seem to be doing...I'm going to write a letter. Bye...'.

And with that, she was off. There was no sarcasm or bitterness in Ari's words - she was speaking from the heart, and she just hoped that Will could see that.

Laylee couldnt help but feel odd as Arian walked away....
She didnt like Will like that! Laylee was pretty sure he felt the same way about her. He loved Cressida.
Laylee sat with her back against the tree, wondering what she should do next... She was all out of words...

Jayden gave a laugh. "O well!" he said shrugging his shoulders in an exaggerated kind of way. "Better luck next time." he said with a smile. He thought of Becky as just a friend and knew she felt the same way about him... no matter how cute he was. (lol)

"well that 'snogging' made me feel a bit better" she said smiling and as she said snogging made the quotation mark motion with her fingers "aww i know you just can't handle not being able to snog me" she giggled "maybe someday in the future...maybe...i wouldnt hold your breath but hey one never knows...but for right now my heart belongs to another...even though he has ripped it out squeezed it threw it on the ground stepped on it and buried it"
