"Or course I knew that," Savannah said, only a hint of sarcasm visible from her tone. Smiling, she shook her head at him.

Somehow, although way beyond her, she managed to keep a straight face and laughter from escaping. "Yes! Forget telling everyone it was my idea, could I keep it as a pet?" Vannah asked eagerly. Not kiddingly, at all.

A pillow monster pet . . with three legs and six or seven pairs of eyes.

Shel was laughing all over now. "Seriously, Vannah," he said, managing to get a grip on himself. "You could keep it all you want. It would probably sprout hands and ears if it stayed with me, anyway."

He could tell she had enjoyed the idea of a pet pillow monster. But, really, when all was said and done, the thing was going to be a monster. Definitely NOT your average pet. He wondered if she could really manage it.

His butterbeer bottle was empty now. He placed it on the table, looking up at her. "Maybe I should get another one . . . " he trailed off, silent.

Giggling abit, Savannah couldn't compose herself enough not to bounce just atiny bit in her seat with excitement. "Minus the hands..That would thoroughly creep me out, but keep the ears!" The fourteen year old was honestly dead set on really getting that pillow if he managed to create a monster, accidentally.

"Reeeally. As long as it doesn't attempt to viciously eat you alive first, I waaant it. Pleeease?" Vannah asked, the please part was carried in quite an innocent tone of voice; much like a five year old asking for a lollipop.

Even a half-alive half-charmed pillow monster with six or seven pairs of eyes, and three legs and some odd ears plus whatever else it might grow, Savannah didn't care. To her, she didn't see an ugly scary beast thing, she saw an inner loveable creature.

She nodded abit, as he trailed off. "Want me to get you one?" The hufflepuff offered, smiling.

Shel gulped. Uh uh. "err, let's say we try that out next term," he suggested, a bit cautious. Fancy Sheldon Ambrose being cautious!

Shel half smiled at her. "Okay, okay, you can keep it. But I don't really have a four-legged, three-eyed or whatever pillow monster right now, so I'm sorry, Vannah."

He shook his head. "No, but thanks a heap," he said with a smile. He let his thoughts wander for a moment before asking, "Decided which extra subjects you're going to continue with, next year?"

Jayden laughed as she grabbed the fork. He jumped off her lap and fell to the floor in a dramatic manner. "NOOOOOO!!' he said out loud.

Rapunzel noticed Vannah and the Gryffindor boy waving at her, so she waved back, again, and was very tempted to go visit them. But she was also tempted to continue -- wait, was that DIABOLICA dancing with MARCO?! The evil Quidditch captain??! Rapunzel's jaw dropped about a foot and her eyes nearly popped out of her head. What was she thinking? Where was Claudian?? No no no!

Rapunzel grabbed Ryan's arm as soon as he managed to find the table, completely ignoring his faux swagger. "Ryan! Ryan! LOOK! Did you see that??!" she hissed into his ear, trying to discreetly nudge him in the direction of the dance floor. "We must rescue poor Diabolica! Aaaah!" Rapunzel knew she was being a bit melodramatic, but she couldn't help herself. Stupid sugar.....

Ryan, however, remained seated. "If I'm not mistaken, she does seem to be enjoying herself. Best not fix what isn't broken....or something like that." He sighed and looked at his hyperactive girlfriend. Yes....no more punch for you, he thought.

"You know, despite his attitude after I beat him for the snitch, he's not a bad guy. He hasn't threatened me or anything, which I consider to be a pleasantly nice thing, considering some of the people in his house who did (or...almost did)."

He smiled wider, this time. "See?" he said pointing. "Look! She's smiling. In fact, she can't wipe that smile off her face! I think we should just let them continue dancing"

Jen looked down at Jayden and laughed. 'Serves you right, thinking you could just do as you please.' She said, with mock anger. Jen put the fork down and brushed off her dress. She stuck out a hand for Jayden to help himself up.

Rapunzel listened to Ryan and had to admit he had a point, being the clever Ravenclaw he was and all. "Oh," was her simple reply. "Maybe...maybe you're right," she shrugged. The sugar high was starting to wear off. "Wait...did you say that some of the Slytherins threatened you after you caught the snitch??!" Rapunzel's eyes were wide with alarm. "WHO?" she demanded, as if some scrawny blonde 12-year-old could do anything about it...

Ryan almost burst out laughing. What a dramatic drop off of energy. She was like a hamster or something! Only...much cuter and smarter.

Well," he began, "I was walking up to the common room when Cassandra was about to attack Tag. Naturally, I decided to help him, but apparently he didn't need any help. He bewitched a suit of armor, which he named, although I can't remember the name, on Cassandra...and then she ran away. But threatening Tag about quidditch...she might as well have threatened me, too."

He sighed. "Whatever. It's done, it's over."

Derek sat down at the tables boredly.

Rapunzel blinked. "Wait.....what? So that Cassandra girl, the one Diabolica hates, was going to attack your captain? Why? Because the Slytherins are losers?" She could only stare at him. "And what does any of that have to do with the name of the suit of amor? Hold up--" she leaned in and whispered, "--was the armor named Mildred, by any chance?" Rapunzel almost started giggling again, as she realized Ryan needed to work on how to tell a story. And she needed to work on metabolizing sugar better....

"Let's start over," he said. "Me. Seventh Floor. Tag and Cassanrda arguing. He bewitched a suit of armor that he had named to attack her. She ran away. I almost laughed. Okay...those are the basics. Now for your questions. Yes, that same Cassandra. She was mad because she though us beating them would hurt their chances of winning the house cup. And no, the armor was not named Mildred. It was like....Mr. Tin-Man or something."

Rapunzel sensed a patronizing tone in Ryan's voice and she narrowed her eyes. "Okay, Mr. SmartyPants, I get your story," she inclined her head like a snob royalty. "And I still think Mildred would have been a better name for a suit of amor," she sniffed, "because then, if the armor rusted or something, you could call it Milly, or Mildrew. Like...mil...dew...." Rapunzel couldn't keep a straight face any longer and she started laughing. Really loud. So loud that she couldn't even hear the music any longer.

"I suppose," he said airily. "Well, it does make sense. Let's go name a suit of armor 'Mildred' later." He chuckled and then stopped dead when Rapunzel started....cackling. O_O "That's...er...quite the laugh you have there. I don't think I've heard that one yet."

But, as laughter is contagious, he started laughing as well (although not quite as loudly, since he was a bit more gentle and soft-spoken around Rapunzel) and couldn't stop. Soon, he was falling out of his chair, holding his side. It hurted.

Still, even after hearring it wasn't alive yet, She beamed. "That's alright. I'll be patient..but, if you do make it; I wanna keep it." She reminded him once more before settling herself more.

It took only a short moment of thoughts, before Vannah responded. "Would it honestly be any surprise if I said all of them?" Of course, She loved care of magical creatres. That wasn't going anywere. Her first favorite was History of magic, so that stayed. Ancient runes, Divinations and Arithmancy were each quite interesting and something she wanted to learn more of. And..the other classes were a given; not exactily optional and even if they were Savannah would still be in each.

"What about you then?"

"Mildred ish a good name har har har," Rapunzel choked out between snorts of laughter. "You think ish funny too," she cackled again and then went ahead and pushed Ryan out of his chair. Because that made it more funnier.

Krissy sat at one of the tables and gazed around the room. She was amazed that the end of term was already here. She sighed deeply. She had some small tokens to give her closest friends...and Helios, but at the moment she couldn't be bothered to go looking for them.

Kayla snuck up behind Krissy and conjured a flower from her wand. She reached over her shoulder and held the flower in front of her face. "Would madam care for a dance?" she said in a deep voice.

Krissy started. "Only if yer the boy Winters." Krissy chuckled without even turning around. she knew no boys that would ask her to dance so it had to be Kayla.

Kayla chucked and gave her a kiss on the top of her head. "You don't give yourself enough credit girl, a boy would be crazy not to ask you out" she said seriously.

Krissy chuckled at her friend's insane comment. What boy would want her? "Whatever yeh say Kayla. Thank yeh for the pretty rose. I'll let it dry and keep it with the glass one Helios conjured for me." Krissy blushed. "Oh! I've got a small gift for yeh before end of term. That is if yeh want it." Krissy teased.

"No that's okay Krissy I don't need anything...of course I want it. Gimme, gimme" Kayla laughed. "Ah yes that reminds me I must speak to Sunrider about that how come I didn't get a bloody present from him" she joked.

Krissy blushed an even deeper shade of red. She loved that glass rose more than words could express. She was almost glad Kayla had nothing like it. "Leave it to yeh to deny and then beg for a gift all in one breath." Reaching into her bag krissy pulled out silver quill and a small box of stationary she had made back home in the days of her muggle life. It was the last box she had but she wanted Kayla to have it. "This is handmade parchment and envelopes I made with crushed Lilacs and roses. I know yeh may not make it for a visit over the holidays but I really would like to keep in touch with writing. Me grandmum promised me I could have an owl of me own as long as Topaz didn't chase it. That way we can keep in touch." Krissy gave Kayla a weak smile. she was going to miss her friend.

Kayla looked down at the gift and then back to Krissy her eyes brimming with tears. "Wow thanks Krissy, it's absolutley beautiful. I promise I'll write to you everyday" she leaned over and gave Krissy a hug.
