Heather looked up and spotted Katelyn.She got up and went over to her smiling"Hey Katelyn,"she said hoping shed remember her.

Sho returned and set down his plate and two drinks. He pushed a napkin of cookies and brownies toward Kate and smiled. Then he picked up a cheeseburger and looked down at his overfilled plate.

"American food... I... miss it," he said, blushing and chuckling.

He took a bite and smiled happily. It was delicious. Perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful. It was a good thing.

Jordan walked over to the tables and sat down at one near bye. She had grabbed some punch and began to sip it, making tsure not to get any on her poodle skirt. She looked around to see if there were guys that were alone that she might want to dance with but so far she didn't see anyone. Maybe someone one would come over and ask her but for now she just looked around at everything.

Tia looked about and sighed there were loads of people here but nobody was talking to her she played with her hair while looking about

Gwen liked to eat in peace and that was probably why, she chose a table hidden in the back. As she sat down, she couldn't help but think about how much she missed California and the beaches. God how she loved American food and all it's greasy splendor.

She eat some fries and smiled at the salty goodness, she had completely forgotten she was alone. But she couldn't care since she had delicious food to enjoy.

Katelyn looked up from her thoughts at the girl she had met the other day with Claudian.
"Hey there!" she exclaimed gleefully, offering the girl a big smile. She then glanced at Sho as he returned.

"Ew...t-thats a burgar? Thats a cow, Sho! A cow! how c-can you eat that?" she asked, disgusted. She shook her head, and turned back to Heather.
"Heather this is Sho, Sho this is Heather," she said, smiling again. "American consists of a lot of meat...ugh. Simply horrible.." she muttered to herself, shaking her head. She took a brownie and split it in half. She took a bite, and grinned.
"Good, but not as good as yours," she said, setting it back down and starting to eat a cookie.

Kimberly skipped on over to the table and took a seat, and some yummy food.
'Oh, these hamburgers look great' she thought wistfully gazing at them.
It had been so long since she had eaten true American food, and that juicy grilled sandwitch was really calling her name.
Kim grabbed one of the tray and put it on a plate in front of her, but didn't eat it....yet. It wouldn't do to spill something on herself, which she was extremely prone to doing.
Instead the blond Hufflepuff glanced down the table her eyes stopping on Sho and Katelyn.
Kimberly waved to them with a shy little smile and said "Hey guys!", all the while making sure her dark red bow was fastened securely to her curly ponytail.

Ariana smiled happily as she sat down next to Kohan, she didn't even mind that she looked strange in the skirt. She wasn't the kind of girl to wear girlie things like skirts ot dresses; in fact there wasn't a single dress in her wardobe, except for the dress robes she owned. Making herself comfortable she looked up to the band, the music filling her ears.

"Oh yes, I love this band." She replied in responce to her question. "It's been awhile since I heard them though." she added a small grin on her face. "Do you listen to much music? Or do you like to sit with a nice quiet book instead?" She asked, quirking an eye slightly.

Sho laughed as Kate cringed. Her and her sudden veganism kept slipping his mind. She commented on the brownies being good, but not as good as his. It was getting harder and harder to top them.

"Yes, Kate. I am eating a cow," he said, taking another bite. "And it is delicious! Well... to those who find it delicious."

He ate a couple fries that he had drizzled ketchup on.

"And yes, we do eat a lot of meat, but we do have non-meat foods too. Pie... salads... so on."

He wiped his mouth and turned to the other girl at their table and smiled. She had worked with him in Herbology.

"Oh, hey Heather!"

Katelyn simply smiled, and glanced at his fried...potatoes. Not meat.
"May I have a fry? Pleaase? Just one," she pleaded, since fries were pretty good. She didnt a lot of ketchup, but she could deal.
"Oh pie! And salads a favorite of mine! Yum yum! And i guess...burgars are yummy...but, eh," she said, sticking out her tongue.

Her foot was already beginning to tap against the floor to the beat of the music as she waited for Ariana to take a seat. The band definitely had a good rythmn. "Really? That's perfect then! You'll have a great time dancing the night away." She remarked with a smile. "I do believe I like them too." She added, wondering where the Headmistress had found the band.

With a chuckle, Angela clasped her hands together. "You got me. I do like to listen to music every now and again, sometimes even when I'm reading. I mostly like the classical type of music. If you really get into it while you're reading, it's easy to get lost in the scenes of the book."

"Hey sho,"she smiled brightly.

She looked at Katelyn"You don't eat meat do you?"She shok her head"Im cutting back its mean and I really am losing the taste for it.You mind if I sit down?"

Jolie graced Rosalie with a smile and sat down next to the Slytherin. "Oh! I've been..." She paused, searching for the right word. "Allright." Jolie said, settling on allright because she was rather tired and hadn't been able to think of anything else. "Yourself?"

"I know! I have missed a lot of people. There's been so much for me to do lately though. I feel terrible about not being able to catch up or anything." Jolie told her friend sincerely. Lately it'd been a constant steady stream of endless trips from the library to classes to the common room.

Amelia carried her plate of food and soda over to the tables, looking for someone that she knew, particular Tanc. When he was nowhere to be found, her eyes settled about Ariana and Madam Kohan - the librarian she had interviewed not long ago.

She smiled as she walked casually over to their table, "Good evening, Madam Kohan. Ariana." she said with a slight bow. "Mind if I join you?"

Sho smiled and motioned for Kate to eat as many fries as she wanted to. He finished the burger... well the first one anyway... and moved onto the chicken nuggets.

They too were perfectly cooked. Lightly breaded in seasoned breadcrumbs and fried in olive oil instead of canola or peanut. These elves were geniuses.

"No! Not at ALL! Of course...why would we mind, silly?" she asked with a giggle. "And meat is yummy, I just cant stand to eat a poor little animal..any animal for that matter," she said, sticking out her tongue.


She took not one, but a few fries and chuckled as she nibbled at them before they were all gone.
"Oh yum, chicken..nuggets. but no..no chicken for me..nope nope," she muttered to herself, and kept herself from looking at it. She hadnt eaten meat all year! She couldnt start now!

Ariana nodded, knowing exactly what she meant. That was how Ari felt when she read "I know what you mean." she said n a soft vioce, listening to the beat of the band, her foot tapping to the beat. "When I read I like to listen to jazz, it helps me unwind and I can focus on the book, especially if it's a fantasy book." she chuckled, shaking her head, "Though lately I've been reading a lot of books about magical creatures, I've found a fascinating one about Abraxans that I can't put down." she said nodding slowly.

She was about to take a sip of her drink when she heard a familiar voice behind her. She turned and grinned, "Hi Amelia!" she said cherrfully, nodding at her, "It's alright with me." she said, turning to look at Madame Kohan.

Heather sat down with her own over flowing plate,"Well I only eat meat evry other month."She pulled out a hamburger and took a bite.She smiled a big smile the swallowed"I have to say the house elves have over done themselves."

Sho gulped down the nugget he was eating and nodded to Heather. The elves certainly knew what they were doing.

"I'll say they have. This stuff is great," he chuckled, eating a few fries after Kate had taken what she wanted.

He sipped the milkshake and his eyes lit up.

"Oh that is so good... so very good... I miss milkshakes and smoothies and..." Sho said, drifting off as he continued to drink from his straw.

Madame Kohan tilted her head to one side slightly. "Jazz?" She asked curiously. "I've never really listened to that genre of music. I'll definitely have to gather some together and listen. I might find something new to try." She suggested. A slow smile appeared across her features as Ariana mentioned magical creatures. "Ah, yes...magical creatures can be quite fun to learn about, though it's even better when you have a real life creature, albeit, not magical, to have an encounter with." She added with a chuckle as she remembered the incident in the library.

"Good evening Amelia!" Angela greeted cheerfully. "You're more than welcome to join us. Ariana and I were just speaking about the band and our favorite types of music. Do you have a particular type that you enjoy?" She inquired.

Katelyn raised her eyebrows at Heather.
"Seriously? Ever other month? Like...seriously?" she asked, laughing a little. It sounded funny. She turned to Sho, and raised her eyebrows again.

"Milkshakes? Yummy yummy..." she said with a wink. She took another cookie, and chomped it down in three seconds flat.
"Oh thats scrum-sha-dumtios!" she exclaimed with a giggle and quickly grabbed another one. So much for not being a pig!

Heather laughed lightly and nodded to Katelyn"Its a habbit."She eye her own milkshaker"Well heres to Hogwarts and Headmisstress Rae,"she said taking a sip.It tasted wonderful and she couldn't remember the last time she had one.

She sighed and felt cheerful.She took a fry off her plate and bit in to it.The cripsy-ness of it snapping clean."Okay they really have done to good."

Sho stopped drinking to laugh. Kate was sometimes too hilarious for her own good. Her fancy, made-up words were certainly giggle worthy.

"Scrum-sha-dumtios?" he laughed to her. "I think I might have to steal that one."

He turned to Heather as she ate a fry and chuckled, "Are the fries scrum-sha-dumtios?"

"Oh they are very scrum-sha-dumtios,"she said laughing and taking a bite of another.

She grabbed a cookie and bit in to it,"Though the cookies seem to be a little more scrum-sha-dumtios."She took a sip of her milkshake and sighed happily.

Derek walked over to Heather and covered her eyes and said"Guess who?"
