Savannah nodded, understandingly. "That makes sense then, or more of it atleast." After a thought, she turned her gaze back on him after glancing to the table top. "Hm, maybe your going to be a big brother?" She suggested.
The girl worked extremely hard to keep the straight face that she had on now, fighting the amusement and laughter back in her attempt at playing along, professionally. If you could say that at all..
"Oh yes! Of course Hologram boy, You can do..things I cannot, and visaversa. Also sort of like the ghosts around here," She motioned towards the otherside of the room, taking notice of a wondering spirit; most likely the fat friar, he seemed to like the great hall most but she couldn't be sure of which drifting ghost it was, at the angle she was seated and people blocking her view here and there.
"Does not," She protested again, knowing fully well she was fighting a losing battle. Dancephobia? Not quite.. "Erm..Uhm alriiiiight." The girl mumbled. Rolling her bright eyes towards the ceiling playfully and stood, gently taking his hand. "I don't want too thoooough," Vanna insisted quietly, rather bashfully actually.

Shel had been listening intently but, when Vannah said he might become a big brother, he nearly choked. "Vannah!" he said, getting a grip on himself. "Please! It's not like I don't already have half a dozen annoying, little cousins to deal with when I'm at home."
Her hand in his, he smiled slightly when she spoke about ghosts. "I don't think I'll try walking through a wall, thank you," he told her.
"We all have to do things we don't want to, Vannah," he told her cheekily. "Like attend Ancient Runes. Fall off a broom in the middle of the Quidditch cup, while shouting 'We're winning.'" The corners of his mouth twitched as he led her on to the dance floor.
OOC: Vannah had better be good and dance. =p

Heather walked out to the tables he feet sore and her mind spinning with thoughts.she puled out her handy notebook and began to write in it.She felt all her feelings leak out on to the page and hoped it would relieve some of the stress she was suffering.

Heather looked uip and noticed not many people were around.She loked back down fnishing the poem with her loopy sighning of her name.She kicked of her shoes and felt the cool floor sooth the pain in them.She laid her head head on her arms which she crossed laying them on the table,"Well there goes another lovely year that I wish wouldn't end,"she said to no one.A tear slid down her face and she stared out into space.

She forced a smile on her face, "well we've got something in common, whenever I"m not in school I live at the Leaky Cauldron, can't afford a real home or anything, so yeah..." she trailed off, thinking. "Rosalie, the ministry is looking for a family to pur Mikaila in? You're 17 now, right? You can legally become her guardian, you wouldn't have to be split up, let the ministry know that!" she said, trying to make a bad situation have SOME sort of a positive outlook.
"Well, what kind of everything from your grandmothers?" she asked without thinking, "No, Rosalie, I'm sorry, I shouldn't've asked, I just meant that, if it's like... a house, persay, then do you think I could come stay with you after school gets out, until I figure out what I'm doing with my life?" she asked, seriously not knowing what she's doing after graduation. | |

When AJ's mouth dropped and she hugged Rosalie, she actually smiled, and laughed. They'd certainly not talked in a long time. Her father being locked up was a good thing as far as she was concerned. Her and Jay both wanted to have at him...but at least neither of them had to worry about getting in trouble now.
"My father and I never got along. I just wish that I got a chance to turn my wand on him before he got locked up." Rosalie told AJ honestly. Maybe she'd forgotten the scars she had shown up to school with in her first and second years...before she'd run away. "It's not that horrible. I hate that they took my gran too...but...she's a tough old bat. She'll give those dementors something to fight for." Rosalie sated with a smile on her glossy lips.
"They took mum and gran to for not having turned him in. They knew he was planning it. They could have stopped it, but they didn't." Rosalie explained to AJ. Her mother had always been terrified of defying her father. That had worn off on Rosalie for the first few years of her life. It was a trait the disappeared once she got to Hogwarts.
"I have considered trying to adopt Mika but...I'm only seventeen, and she's--" Rosalie sighed. Her life would certainly be changed if she did. But could she honestly stand the idea of Mikaila in the home of a stranger? Maybe she didn't know her sister, but that didn't matter did it? They were sisters.
Her train of thought hit a brick wall at AJ's question about her new possessions.
"Gran was independently wealthy. My father was as well, and he only inherited a fraction of the Hale fortune when my Grandfather died. I now own her house, and have the key to her vault..." Rosalie explained haltingly. The idea still boggled her mind. She'd never have to work a day in her life.
"I'm pretty sure I could find you a room to stay in if you need it." Rosalie added with a smile. At least she wouldn't be alone once Whende went back to school...

I mean, you can obviously take care of yourself, or you wouldn't be here, and she's a little sister, how old is she?"
AJ smiled, "would you? could I live with you? Besides, I mean another hand to help you with Mikaila, it couldn't be a bad thing, could it?" AJ had never lived with someone her own age besides at Hogwarts... she was an only child, and a loner at best, so this would be a fun experience. | |

The thought of taking in Mikaila was terrifying. She wasn't ready, and she'd probably never find anyone that would want her if she was raising a little girl.
"Kaila's six years old ((and is going to age to 11 once school starts)). I've never even seen her up close before. I saw her and my parent's in Diagon Alley together about four years ago." Rosalie told AJ, trying not to drift back that far. If she did that than the waterworks may start, and she was wearing mascara.
"Of course you can come stay with me." Rosalie insisted. "If you need anything else from me...a hundred galleons, a private island: just let me know." Rosalie added with a slight grin. Maybe she could lighten the mood.
"But I have some friends coming to spend the summer at my flat before I move into my gran's old house. You can meet up with me there, or I could give you the keys to my house." Rosalie suggested, shrugging. AJ was a prefect. She wasn't stupid, or irresponsible enough to do anything reckless. Either way, she'd spent the better part of the past seven years in a room full of girls. Rosalie had intended to sell her grandmother's mansion. She wasn't about to live there alone.

"Whenever you move into her house, send me an owl, I'll be at the Leaky, I'll find you, whatever, we'll just meet up sometime at your Granny's house, it'll be fine!!!" she said smiling, happy to finally have an actual house, instead of a little old room, to live in, even if it was only temporary. "I've been sending them letters. I'm trying to convince them to let me know where she ends up. But they say there is no record that Mikaila Hale has a sister. They say she was an only child." Rosalie explained. This was another thing that led her to believe someone had saved her from going to Azkaban with her mother and Grandmother. There was no record. Not even Vertiserum had revieled her presence.
"Anways...your probably getting sick of my drama. There is sort of a lot of it at the moment." Rosalie said, her lips twitching up into a smile. "We will look into that island though. I like the idea very much. You'll have to give me visitation rights ok?" Alie told AJ with a grin.
"I'll owl you once I figure out when I'm moving in." Rosalie promised. "And...." Her voice was halting. "Well you don't have to be in any hurry to figure out where your going." Rosalie told her. Her brown eyes were fixed on the students dancing. She didn't want to sound too eager for company. She'd always been strong, she'd always been able to take care of herself, but right now she was scared to leave Hogwarts, and everything she knew behind.

Well, surely there must be something... SOMEWHERE someone knows something..." she laughed, that was the most ill-conceived sentence ever.
"I'm not getting sick of your drama, I haven't talked to you in so long I actually miss it," she said smiling, "Not like my life is any more interesting, or anywhere near as interseting," she said truthfully. "Oh of course, you would have open visitation rights, visit me on my awesome island whenever!!!" she said, her smile broadening.
"Then it's a plan," she said and listened. Her smile faded for a moment while her friend's sentence sunk in, and then it popped back on twice as bright, "Rosalie, thank you so much, I just really didn't want to be a bother." she said, thinking about hugging her again, but figured once for now was enough. 'I didn't want to leave everyone AND everything I've ever known behind, either,' she thought, but bit back.
