"I hope I just didn't hear that because the letters are always clear as to what first years are permitted to bring," Vindictus said as he watched the students overhead.

Willow heard professor vindictus comment about brooms and she asked politely as she flied closer to him, "but what if I'm on the quidditch team?"

"Ah, an Avery. How lovely. My family knows yours, I'm sure. It's a pleasure. How have you been liking classes thus far?" Camira slowed down as Alex did. She wondered how Alex knew who she was. She didn't remember meeting her. A puzzled expression on her face showed her confusion.


Camira sighed and flew once again towards the Professor. She stopped and sighed. He really didn't like her. "I guess I didn't notice, Professor. My parents take care of most of the things on my shopping list. That's why I'm asking. Should I give it to my head of house to hold, or should I send it home?"

"I have enjoyed my classes greatly" Alex responded. Alex looked at Camira's puzzled face, "I have an extordinary memory" Alex said, "We barely meet at party to which both our families attended, once i saw you at school i remembered who you were." With this, Alex allowed herself to gain speed zooming around the pitch, she loved flying.

Camira raised an eyebrow as the girl zoomed off. She thought back. She couldn't remember her, but it would make sense that they were at the same party. She was a Yaxley and that Alex girl was an Avery. She smirked. She'd have to do some background research on the girl. She seemed like she would make a good ally.

"Have it sent home before you lose House Points, even if you are on your House team," he said sternly and continued to watch the students fly. The breeze was getting decidedly colder and Vindictus tightened the scarf that was around his neck. "After several rounds around the pitch and practicing your landing, you may place the school broom on the ground where you found it and leave."

Isabella did as the Professor said and started to practice landing. She pulled up the broom towards her slightly and slowly decended. When both feet were safely on the ground, she let out a sigh of relief. Isabella placed her broom by the others and walked out of the pitch.

Willow landed and looked at the professor feeling crestfallen. was she gonna have to send home her brand new firebolt?, she was on the house team!. well, rules are rules, she thought to herself. "If I have to sent my broom back, then how am I going to play quidditch?" she said politely walking towards the professor

Camira nodded at the Professor, flew around to her original spot and landed smoothly. She noticed a girl she'd heard called Isabella walking away and chased after her. She was making an effort to get to know everyone in Slytherin and get along with them. "Hello, I'm Camira. Haven't seen you around before. Are you new?", she asked politely.

Zoraida stood off towards the edge of the lines of the brooms. Only having been on a broom twice before when she decided to be insane and give Quidditch a try with no idea how to ride a broom. Turned out her book on quidditch was good enough to get her into the air on one of the school brooms then so when the Professor began class she was ready her left hand over the broom ready to say UP when the professor told them they could.

Zora said "Up" and flew the broom around a bit. It was not as fast as the one at tryouts which was good as she could actually control it slightly better. Zora flew around and did a few Zig-Zags and practiced landing and taking off a few times. As her former dismount technique was jump and run along the broom till it stopped moving.

Then practiced flying a bit more as she was having quite alot of fun flying on the broom and did not want to stop even though the professor gave them an dismissal to leave of sorts.

Saylie landed near the professor and managed to not end up on the ground this time. She beamed, finally feeling confident enough with the broom to not be afraid of it anymore. "Thank you for your advice about the fear, professor, it helped a lot!" She lowered the broom somewhat reluctantly next to the others, still grinning. Eyes sparkling with excitement and cheeks flushed pink from the wind, she left the pitch.

Krissy stood at the edge of the pitch watching her fellow students fly around the pitch in awe. Taking a deep breath she stood with her hand above a broom. "Up!" she said hopefully. Nothing. Once again she breathed deeply. "UP!" she said with force this time. The broom flew into her hand and she smiled. straddling the broom she hovered a few feet off the ground. Urging the broom to move forward she felt an exhilaration she had never imagined. "Wicked" she whispered to herself feeling the wind go through her long hair. Feeling freer than she ever had before she decided to try landing. Pulling up on the handle ever so slightly the broom lowered her to the ground. she stumbled slightly as her feet touched down. "Guess I'll `ave to work on me landing" she giggled at her klutziness.

Taylie watched Kristyns' progress and smiled, " I guess your mom should have named you Grace." She laughed then looked down at her broom. "Up", she said forcefully. The broom jumped into her hand and she climbed on and pushed away from the ground. Taylie leaned forward and took the broom for a quick trip around the pitch. She flew back over near Kristyn and slowly pulled the broom handle back. As she smoothly slid off of the broom she looked at Kristyn and said, " Don't worry this all gets a lot easier. My Grammy taught me how to ride when I would spend summers at her house."

Krissy smiled at her friend. "I'm not worried about the flying, it's the landing I need to work on." she giggled. Straddling her broom once more she flew around the pitch as fast as the school broom would allow. Returning to Taylie she pulled up on the handle and landed smoothly. Grinning like a fool at Taylie she said. "See? I may not be graceful, but I am a quick study. Me mum would be so proud... I think"

When Kristyn landed Taylie was jumping up and down and clapping. "Yay! That was wonderful. I am sure your mom would be proud of you. You are doing so good here."

He didn't think about covering up his footsteps in the area he proudly called 'his.' The stillness of the stadium sent a shiver down Professor Vindictus's spine and he quickly went to work casting a glowing charm on both sets of goal hoops.

"Come on! Use a basic warming spell and get up there!" he whispered to the group and then laughed. "I can't believe I'm whispering - it's like the old days when Fabian, and I were up to no good, but it always ended with yours truly in the dungeons."

Elijah laughed. "I wish I could've been there for those days! I can't believe how chilly it is out here though. Might as well just get on with it."

He nervously grasped his broom handle, which felt like ice. Slowly, he lifted off the ground and did a few slow laps around the pitch, trying to get adjusted to the cold and the feel of his new broom.

Once she had realized what they were planning, Angela couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement. Quidditch at night; actually, just Quidditch altogether was amazing and always managed to lift her spirits. Thank Merlin for magic, for it would block out the chilly air of the night.

Glancing down at the broom she held in her hand, she ran one hand along the tip as a grin lit up her face. She lifted her head as Vindictus spoke and laughed softly at his words. "You got it."

She mounted the broom and began to lift off the ground, not bothered already by the temperature. Shifting slightly to gain a comfortable position on this broom, for it wasn't her own, Angela hovered for a few moments in the air before beginning to slowly move towards the end of one side of pitch, all the while admiring the picturesque surroundings

Max loved to show off and decided to let loose a Bludger. He waited a few seconds before jumping on his broom and began zooming about the pitch with his trusty Beater's bat in hand. In the air, a silver streak zoomed directly at him.

WHACK!

Vindictus made direct contact with the Bludger and it sailed through the top goal hoop located a mere 100 feet away. DING! Blushing and cringing at the same time as the noise, he quickly corralled the Bludger and returned it to the equipment box. "Oops...forgot about the ding. Let me put a silencing charm on the hoops. I'll be right back."

Walking out on the the pitch, Danni let out a sigh. FLying was the perfect way to relieve stress and forget about her current situation, even if it was just temporary. She hopped onto her broom and went to join her collegues in the air.

The gates to the pitch open and you find Professor Vindictus standing at the center of the field with some strange looking objects covered up with a blue tarp.

"Hello! Welcome to the Flying Final Exam," he says enthusiastically and waits for the rest of the students to show up.

Amelia walked out onto the pitch clutching her broom in her gloved hands. She loved flying, but it was freezing out! Even though she knew this would be good practice for tomorrow's match.

Reaching the professor, she smiled meekly and said, "Good evening Professor. How are you tonight?"

Heather walked out in her qudditch robes.She sighed and yawned"Hello professor Vindictus,"she saidsmiling slightly.

Excelsior walked down to the pitch carrying his broom. He was ready for some fun today! "Greetings, professor," he said.

Ryan walked back out to the pitch, adorned in his practice robes, of course. He was proud to be showing off his Ravenclaw pride. He had helped win their last game, of course.

"Hi, Professor Vindictus!" he said, enthusiastically. He was ready to show off some of his mad skills.
