Josh came back from the tables as he had only one cookie. " Its a bit dangerous over there." he said as his hat was now on crooked." I brought you a cookie." he said as he handed it over to Jai. Where was xana?He looked around for her.

"Lets dance and you can tell me your Cinderella story all you want." Jai giggled and smiled when Josh came back with her cookie "You two spoil me." she bit into the cookie and she then breifly thought about Claudian who she had invited for a dance but decided he wouldn't come anyways."So Josh who are you looking for?"

Gwen gave him a smile "Well I apologize for not having any dance skills to speak of." she answered as she looked up at him. She couldn't help but laugh "Don't worry you look better then fine." she reassured him with a soft smile. "I absolutely hate dressing up and that's why I'm wearing what I'm wearing." she told him honestly since she like honesty. "You're really tall and I like that." she said softly with a small laugh.

"Only about you"Derek gave her a warm smile, showing her he would always be there for her.

She blushed slightly hanging her head down.She left it there hoping her wouldn't see it at all.

Josh gave her a smile as he shook his head. " Not a promblem." he said as he looked around again. " Who me?" he asked as he then looked around again. " Im looking for Xana. She said she was coming.. but i dont see her. I hope she is alright. " he said then looking at jai. He gave her a small smile. " She said she was coming."

"Of course." Tuesday said setting her hand on Jai's hip and held the other hand freely for Jai to grab. She giggled then stuck her tongue out At josh. "We shall dance, cause you promised me earlier."

Derek lifted up her chin with one finger and kissed Heathers nose lightly.

"Oh well now my feet kill me so I'll be sitting." she smiled "I'll see you two later." she hugged Tues and kissed Josh on his cheek "Bye." she whispered to him and walked away.

As he kissed her nose she blushed even more."Why do you people have to do this to me,"she said smiling"if I wanted my cheeks red id paint them that color."She laid her head on his shoulder and swayed to the music.

Tuesday stepped out of the dancing position to Return her friend the hug. "I will ssee you later. Bye." She said stood there, staring down at her shoes. She knew Josh didn't ant anything to do with her, Maybe she should just sit out. Somthing then standing here like A retard. "bye josh." She added softly, watching him trott off. She stood there A few more minutes before heading off the dancefloor and stould in the sidelines, Waiting, But for what? She didn't know, But all she did know was that she was waiting.

*Amos walked up to Tuesday and smiled. He was wearing his training robes, they were dark blue and golden yellow with a red lion over his heart. They were the only nice clothes he had other then school robes.* "Hello."

Gwen had an amazing smile he was almost captivated by it, he looked into her eyes. "Your dance skills seem to be better than you give yourself credit for." He said trying to stay on the beat. Quidditch he could do but dancing just was not something he was strong with. He looked down at her, "I like what you're wearing actually, I mean I am not sure what they wear at sock hops in the muggle world... But either way what you have on looks really good on you." He smiled, "I am more of a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy." He admitted, he was rather honest. "Yeah I seemed to at least inherit height... Although I must say I am glad you are shorter than me that would be insane if you were taller." He said laughing as he was over six feet. "I like shorter girls." He said attempting to twirl her a little.

Gwen could help but smile "Thanks and you're not so bad yourself." she explained softly as she listened to the music for a moment. She had always been better at playing then dancing to music. She looked up at him and gave him a big smile, since he was being so incredible nice "I wasn't sure myself and I just decided on this." she smiled "I also like what you're wearing." she compliment with a small grin. "Don't worry I'm stuck at this height." she joked with a laugh.

Ryder smiled at her, "I am trying so hard not to fall on my face or cause you to fall on yours." He said laughing a little. "I never thought dancing took so much concentration." He said nervously looking around to see who else was on the dance floor or if people were watching him knowing he didn't know how to dance. "Well I think you made an amazing choice." He said being completely honest with her. He laughed at her comment, "Yes well I am not sure if I am getting any taller... We could hope I'm done or that I don't get too much taller." He said looking down at her, he was already a good amount taller than her. "So... tell me about yourself. Your a ravenclaw... You must be very smart." He said with a smile.

Gwen couldn't help but laugh "I fall a lot and it wouldn't be new to me." she laughed as she listed to the music again. "And that's why I don't dance." she said in a matter-of-fact tone of voice. Her mind couldn't help but wander to what she thought her friends were doing. "There's nothing wrong with being tall and it's way better then being short." she said with a smile. "I'm not all that amazing. Just different I guess." she told him "Intelligence isn't everything." she added with a smile.

Jai lead Tia out on the floor and spun her around "Let loose."

Jai twirled and held down her dress. "Woooo." she screamed and danced around Tia.
