Josh pulled xana out onto the dance floor as he asked before they got started." You sure you can put up with my bad dancing skills?" he asked her with a small smile.

Amelia couldn't stop smiling, as she twirled around and was brought in close to him. She could have sworn her heart stopped beating as they looked into each other's eyes. He was just so adorable.

The music was great; Amelia wasn't too picky about the music she listened to as long as she could move to the beat. But the music was made especially better by the closeness she felt to her significant other - closer in fact, then she felt to him all term.

Her cheeks became slightly flustered when he said she looked perfect. "Thank you," she said, as she gave him a peck on the lips. "I love you, Tanc. You know that, right?" she whispered, as she placed her cheek up against his and swayed with the music. This was the first time she had ever said she loved someone, other than a family member, and it felt wonderful yet strange too.

Rapunzel blushed when Ryan twirled her. Since when did he become so suave?

"Thank you, darrrrling," she giggled. "I don't know where to start guessing secrets about you, Ryan, but I'll tell you one of my own."

Rapunzel twirled around and leaned in towards his ear. "I never pictured myself dancing with a wonderful boyfriend like you."

"Oh you didn't, now, did you?" he asked softly as he dipped his beautiful girlfriend. "Well, you thought wrong," he added before giving her a soft little peck on the lips.

"Alright...I'll tell you a secret," he said as he picked her back up and began dancing with her again. "Umm...I never imagined I'd find such a great girl in the middle of a mob-fire."

Rapunzel relished Ryan's soft kiss and was once again amazed at his perfect timing.

Then they started dancing again and she couldn't help but start laughing really, really, really hard at his 'secret'.

"That's true," Rapunzel finally managed to gasp out. "And I never thought I would forgive you for putting me in that full-body-bind or whatever!" She grinned again and had to try really hard not to bust a gut from laughter.

Xana smiled. "I'll suffer through it." She joked. "Though... As memory serves, you are quite the dancer. " She took his hand and slid into his arms, swaying to the music.

"So... are you ready for the end of term? Packed and all? And... have you secured your flat yet?"

Josh put his arms around her and had her close. " Ready... mostly." he said to her as gave her a smile." Pretty much packed. Im a bit slow when i pack. I end up misplacing things so i have to search where i put them. I end up finding them already packed." he said making a joke. " no im not that bad i promise. " he said then adding," Though i am pretty much packed. Just a few other things. " he said as he then wondered how he was suppose to get his guitar in the trunk. Hm.. he would just have to use a spell to shrink its size. " Yes i have. Im glad you guys decided that you were going to stay. It will be fun. I promise." he said with a grin. " you know your very beautiful tonight. I know i call you beautiful all the time but it especially suits you today. More then ever. " he said then adding," besides.. Red is my favorite color. " he said staring at her for a few moments." you really do look amazing ."

Shel chuckled. "She was the size of an -" he stopped. "If I go on like this about her, Aunt Jenna's going to haunt my nightmares, I promise you." One could have pretty much drawn a parallel between her and the famous Aunt Muriel, if truth be told. And his smile told it.

He was really beginning to get into the tune, now. The music hung around, lovely. To say the least, he was enjoying himself. "Do you know I'm enjoying awfully?" he asked, stressing the last word on purpose, and grinning at Vannah.

He paused, for a second, as she nearly lost her balance. "You okay, Vannah?"

Then she spoke again, and he felt like someone had just emptied a bucket of cold, cold, glacial water over him. He'd never experienced drowning but, at that moment, he realized exactly how it must feel. Without meaning to, he stopped dancing.

She doesn't know, it's not her fault. You're just going to make her feel guilty.

He regained his composure almost as quickly as he'd lost it, his steps in accordance with the melody around them once more. "No," he told her softly. "I said she was a great dancer. Aph died." He tried to shrug it off, but anyone could tell she had been dear to him.

Very, very.

She blushed slightly at the compliment. "Thank you... you look very dashing, yourself." Xana smiled. "I'm not ready to leave Hogwarts -- I just got here. And I hate goodbyes... but at least it's a little more tolerable knowing that we're going to still be seeing each other over the summer-- and hopefully I'll see other friends from school as well. Marco has invited me to his house to train for quidditch-- I may actually try out for the team... Presuming I get to come back next year, of course. But I have a good feeling about it, for a change... " She held him closer, enjoying dancing with him. "What do you tend to do with your time during break, anyway? You've mentioned you'll be busy. You haven't said specifically what it is you do..."

Ryan stopped dancing and smacked his head with his hand. "I had forgotten I did that!" He chuckled, and added a "thanks for reminding me," with a tiny bit of a bite to it.

He continued dancing, and swaying with Rapunzel to the music though. Sock hop...how perfect. He needed to remember to thank Professor Rae for this later.

"I think that...mm...we should just pretend that didn't happen," he said, still holding on to her.

Savannah laughed, nodding understandingly. Whether he was kidding, or being serious she was not certain. But, either way she was good with that.

"Mm, Nope." She responded to his question, shaking her head lightly while a bright smile played on her lips. And gave a small 'Yes' when he asked if she was alright, Vanna refrained from informing him of the obvious; that she could be abit of a klutz.

Slowly, her smile started to fade. Noting that may not have been the best subject.

"Oh.." Vannah said, softly. Biting her lip slightly, an apologetic and sympathetic expression took place on her face. "I'm really, really sorry Shel." She added, honestly.

"Okay," Rapunzel winked at him and kept dancing, then remembered something she'd wanted to ask him.

"Since you're the dancing expert, what...er, how do you dance a Sock Hop?" Rapunzel asked, her blonde hair swaying to and fro and they danced.

Ryan shrugged. "Erm....I dunno. I'm only good at slow-dancing. Like...have you ever heard of Frank Sinatra? I love his music. I wish I was a crooner."

He was still holding her, close. When Vannah said she was okay, he nodded slightly, making a mental note to be a teensy bit more cautious next time.

He mustered up a smile when she said she was sorry. "It's okay, you didn't know," he told her. "And let's forget that subject ever cropped up, Vannah."

There was a moment's pause. Then he spoke.

"Did I mention you look amazing?"

its not really saying goodbye. Just for a few months and then you'll be coming.I promise. They will let you back." he told her as he kissed her forehead. " i'll have to break out my ninja skills if they dont." he teased as he then heard about qudditch." that would be awesome. I will have two people to cheer for. Im sure you'll be good at it. That last game was your first and you already play well. " he smiled at her and was glad to have her close to him. " what do i do? Anything and everything. " he said as it was true. he did a lot of different things. " specifically.. hm.." he said thinking about it." well their is playing guitar, hanging out with some muggle friends, a few different clubs that i've been in, Football season, Teaching..i thought about getting a job too.Im not sure excatly what im going to be doing. Im sure i'll be busy so you wont have to worry about me bothering you." he told her.

"Well, whether I come back or not is entirely up to my guardians.. But I can't see that they'd have much to complain about. Sure, Hogwarts isn't a dark school, but I think my grades were acceptable... at least I attended the whole time I was here. That's.. unlike me."

She listened to him talk about his plans. "Teaching? Teaching what exactly? And I wasn't worried about you bothering me, quite the contrary-- it sounds like you'll be so busy I'll hardly see you." she joked.

"Frank Sinatra?" Rapunzel tilted her head to the side and thought for a moment. "Ooooh yesh! Er, classy, um, traditional Muggle singer, right?" Rapunzel blinked for a second and nodded again. "Right! Slow-dancing is fine with me, as long as you lead." She took a step closer to him and leaned her head on his chest.

"I have no idea what your talking about,..It's already forgotten." She said, softly. Meaning she wouldn't mention it again.

Giving a small smile again, Vannah could feel her cheeks warming ever so slightly. She honestly hoped they weren't coloring even lightly. "Yes, you have. Three times now," The fourteen year old knew perfectly well he wasn't that forgetful, he was merely either at a loss of words, or being a gentlemen. Both, was more likely. Atleast she thought.

"Thankyou." Savannah added, quite politely and released one of her hands from his for a brief moment to move dark bangs from being infront of her eyes, and then put her hand back carefully. "So, I don't think I've ever asked; What's your favorite part about Hogwarts? Anything at all,"

"I have?" Shel asked, pretending to be surprised. "How forgetful of me, really. Must be all that Ancient Runes work . . . " Clearly, that was one subject he was not too fond of.

"Hmmm," Shel said thoughtfully as Savannah placed her hand back. It was a tough question because, if truth be told, he loved nearly everything about Hogwarts. The pathways, the grounds, the classrooms, the secret corridors - they were all enchanting. And, of course, the Quidditch pitch - one of the loves of his life, really.

"Well, the grounds, probably," he said, still thoughtful. "Because I can hang out with all of my friends when I want to, and be alone when I want to, too." Then he added, "And all the secret places Hogwarts has are amazing, too. What about you? What's your favourite part?"

"Gladly," he said, twirling her some more.

He twirled Rapunzel and then extended his arm, twirling her out. He struck a pose, and then pulled her back in, letting her fall softly into his arms.

But, instead of continuing dancing, he continued to hold her in a tight hug and just stood there, swaying ever-so slightly.

Rapunzel fell right into Ryan's arms as if on cue and just stayed there, savoring the moment. Then she squeeeeeze-hugged him and reached up on her tippy toes to give him a kiss on the nose....Eskimo-style.

im glad you stayed. I know your use to running and all..but im really glad you did. Dia would be lonely without you. I can only keep her amused for so long. And thats only if i let her beat me around with books." he teased as he randomly asked," why did you wear red? just curious."

eh.. teaching. she had to ask. " um.. well i teach different things. Muggle and magical stuff. Its basically like community service thing. after my mum died my oldest brother decided that it would be good for all of us to do something together to keep us close. Our father started to fade into his own world after that. Anyway we went into this muggle community thing. Well a few year i decided to see if i could help out a little, i've be doing it ever sense. Helping kids feel like they are wanted you know. Thats sorta how it made me feel when i was there. i wanted to share it." he told her as then looked a bit red. He was embarrassed. he probably sounded liek a fruit cake.it quickly went away as he started with his time." Well dont worry, You'll have to come to the football games. they are fun. drag Dia with you..Please. You'll be doing me a huge favor." he smiled.

The girl's smile widened abit, It was very obvious Ancient Runes wasn't on the tipy top of Shel's favorite's list. Not even close. "Aw, come on now, It's not so bad.."

She nodded, thoughtfully. "Uhm, I'd probably have to go with your pick and say the grounds. Inside is very lovely too, but I still rather be outside." Vannah responded, slowly as if thinking about the question while she answered. "More so because.. I dunno, I suppose I like being around the nature." Something like that. Ontop of many other reasons, too. But that was probably the biggest.

"I'm glad I stayed, too. And I want to come back. So hopefully I can..." She smiled. "As to why I wore red... I just wanted to stand out a little, I guess. Especially after missing the dance a few nights ago... and I never go out, but I do like to, so..." she shrugged. "Why do you ask?"


"That is so sweet!" she exclaimed about his volunteer work. "I had no idea you did that! How is it you never mentioned it? You're--- there's more than meets the eye with you, Josh Moonson.." she met his eyes, smiling, seeing a whole new facet to his personality. He helps kids. Wow. "I'd love to come to the football games....and maybe help with the kids, too... if there's a place for me to help."

As Rapunzel descended from her tippy-toes, Ryan bent his head and kissed her forehead.
