There's a fantastic live band playing all sorts of old and beloved favorites. They're located on the dias that the staff table usually sits, and the entire room is full of loud and boisterous music. The tables have been pushed back to allow for dancing, and everyone is doing their best to keep up with the band.
Grab a partner and get out on the floor. Shoes are optional. | |

No, Keith considered himself too important to dress that way. Though, Keith was rarely seen without it. It was more of an ironic choice of fashion. Smirking at a few girls, he passed them by, not really wanting a dance with anyone. Keith Kroeger didn't dance.
Apparently neither did the girl that lounged against the table that he set his sight on. She was definitely in the spirit of things, from the poofy blonde hair to the ridiculous fashions that Muggles wore back than. Sure her costume was comical, but her face was rather cute behind the mound of hairspray and shoulder pads. Keith's green eyes sparkled flirtaciously as he nonchalantly sauntered over to where the young lady stood. "Now, pray tell," he mused in a deep, Scottish voice. "The party may be more fun than my cynical mood may allow, and you certainly fit the bill to be here, so why is that pretty face frowning? And why aren't you dancing?" he demanded, standing right next to her and casually glancing around the ballroom. Unable to help it, he did tap his foot to the music, finding it more satisfactory than the rest of the scene.

Sam danced and moved his feet recalling what he saw in plenty of movies and what he had seen his parents do. then he remembered his mom and the smile vanished thinking that just last week she had pasted away, pushing out of his mind he wanted to have a good time just this once, moving his feet and wigglying around he danced more wondering where everyone was at

Jayden took her hand and swirled her. He grabbed her and leaned her back. Staying in that position he said, "Well I tried telling her no today." HE pulled her up and grabbed her around the waist once more. "I dont know how she took it though. I was going to do it though. Cause Alie hurt me so bad. But after I saw that look.. da*n. Amie has not been around the school in a couple of days, and she feels that she need to socialize just a little. She had just got on her best dress that she has, and she is relieved that she still fits it.
Even though Amie does not have a date, she is still looking forward to having a great time with everyone else. Just maybe she would have someone to dance with. She comes walking in, in a midnight blue dress with glitter desgins all around. The dress poofs out at the bottom, making it look like an evening gown. Feelilng very confindent, Amie walks into the dance with her head held high.
She walks in and the first thing that catches her attention was the music. The music had just a great beat that when Amie was walking in she was bouncing a little getting into the dancing mood. She looks around and sees everyone in the whole school dancing, laughing, and just having a great time. | |

For the past hour, Rosalie had felt compelled to join the dancing figures on the floor. Maybe it was the flashing lights...but whatever it was, it had worked, because she was there.
Her long auburn hair had been wound into a single curl, which was bound into a ponytail with a gold satin ribbon. The single, thick, curl hung over her bare shoulder, and down the front of her lace, and gold satin dress, which hung to her knees.
As she moved around the perimeter of dancing students, her strappy gold, stiletto's clicked sharply on the floor. The noise was the typical announcement of her presence in any place. She had been in heals since she was eleven as a desperate attempt to gain a few inches. These particular heals were a good two inches taller than what she usually wore, but she wasn't the least bit phased.
