Study Tables Situated over in a quiet corner of the common room are several small wooden tables all grouped together, with quills, bits of spare parchment and ink bottles scattered all over the surfaces. Small comfortable chairs are placed all around that look inviting, a prefect place to sit with friends and tackle homework... |
Angel sat down at the study table. She took out her Hogwarts, A History book and began to read; along with the other books she had bought at Diagon Alley. She thought she might learn a little about the school and some classes before they started. |
Aura walked over to the Study Tables which seemed pretty much unoccupied. She pulled a piece of parchment towards her and read over her homework assignment for Charms one more time. Dipping a quill in her ink pot, she began scratching furiously on the piece of parchment, looking up only to consult her Charms books. After writing a sizebale chunk of her essay, she decided to head to the Library to see if there were any more books to help her finish her essay. Also, she hadn't been to the Library yet and being a bookworm, curiosity and excitement got the better of her. She fetched her school bag, stuffed in what she needed and flung her back over her shoulder, leaving the Commom Room. |
Patrick sat down and spread his books and paper around him. He pulled out the crumpled parchment that his homework was written on and reviewed the distressing handwriting wearily. He dipped his quill into the inkwell an with another brief glance at the paper he started to write. Pausing occasionally to check some fact or figure in the text he wrote constantly for about fifteen minutes before closing his books, rolling up the parchment and capping the inkwell. he piled all of this into his messenger bag and left the deserted corner for the rowdy centre. |
Arden sat down at an empty study table and sighed. She had been so excited about coming to Hogwarts, that she didn't take into account that it was school and you get homework. Arden had a Charms essay due, so she unzipped her bag and took out her notes from class, as well as a blank piece of parchment, a quill, and black ink. After scribbling Arden Griffith, Gryffindor on the top of the paper, she began to write. Arden was happy that this was Charms homework, because she had a knack for charms, like her mum. After she had finished the essay, Arden gathered her bag and books and wearily headed to the girls dormitory. |
Catherine see Arden sit in an empty desk and she walk in her direccion. "Hi! Do you like Charms class? I think it was very interesting, but I really not like the homework" She sit by Arden side, and take a blank piece of parchment and the rest of her stuff, and read her notes for start working. Cath look for the clock and notice, it was almost time for Arithmancy class "Arden o you come with me for class?" she asks at the same time she put her things in the bag. |
Emily new to the study table went over and joined the rest of the students. "Hello..." Emily smiled as she opened up her potions book. |
Aura decided to try and finish her Arithmancy homework. She felt too tired to go to the Library and decided just to remain in the Common Room. Taking a seat, she pulled out the parchment she had been working on, a quill, ink and her Arithmancy Textbook and began writing. |
Lucy , new to the study table walked over Aura " Hi i am lucy " Aura smiled at her. Lucy had brought her charms Textbook and she started to read. |
having had a moderate day , Lilly decided to study for her charms exam coming up , and headed towards a vacant seat and placed all the essentials that she needed before her, as she glanced around she spotted the girl she had bumped into earlier in the dorm room [Aura} and passes a smile as a greating. slowly Lilly opened her book and began reading before the erge to study disappeared. |
Aschere settled down in a comfortable corner and prepared to set up what she called her homework station. There was a roll of quills to select from, and a box of nibs all of different grades. She picked the 'regular' since she was doing homework today. Out came the homework parchment, and the class notes roll - cheap and plentiful. Digging around some more, she brought out the huge pot of black ink and a very stained, well used blotting cloth, and finally put her bag down by her feet. Reaching over the top of her head, she caught onto the tip of a pointy black hat that had been firmly set, and pulled it off. "Thinking cap, eh?" she thought, putting it on the table in front of her, and proceeded to do her HoM homework on the ten uses of pointy black hats... An hour later, satisfied with the carefully written (and blotted) page, Aschere packed away her parchment and quills, ready for a nice long walk in the grounds. |
