In the tallest tower lies a cozy, circular office. Bookshelves line the walls, occasionally breaking for a window to let the sunlight in. A large mahogany desk sits on the far side of the room, it's surface completely littered with unmarked papers, lesson plans and various unidentifiable charts. Behind the desk sits a shelf packed with crystal balls of all sizes, scattering prisms of light all over the office as the sunlight shines on them.

There is a small seating area in the office; armchairs and plushy pouffy chairs sit in a circle around a low coffee (or in this office's case...tea) table. More often than not, Professor Natasha Blaylock-Erikson can be found sipping a cup of tea here than behind her desk.

The trap door is almost always open, and the enchanted teacup is definitely always filled and hot, so come on in for a chat, a personal reading or for any other possible reason.

Though her cheeks still slightly pink, Jasmine's curiosity got the better of her and she asked, "But...why? He is very sweet and nice to me. Although, he was a little annoying in the beginning. I have become quite fond of him really. And we had a lovely date in Hogsmead. He even gave me the most beautiful rose."

Jasmine chose to not remember the unfortunate run in with both Keller and Cassandra, and concentrated on later by the lake. "We even took a nice walk around the lake afterwards." Her eyes became slightly dreamy and she had a fond smile upon her lips as the memory came back to her.

Natasha smacked her hand on her forehead, collapsed onto the back of the sofa and groaned. It was worse that she had expected. Armand would not like it. Not one bit.

What was she going to tell Jasmine to convince her that Marco was bad news? She didn't really have any right to interfere, and besides that...she didn't really like to talk badly about others.

She had to come up with something. Fast.

"He's a teenage boy!" she blurted out. Riiiight...okay, we'll go with that. "And teenage boys have only two things on their minds...Quidditch and well...you know what."

Jasmine watched in dismay as Professor Blaylock smacked herself in the head and groaned. She looked on in confusion as the professor spoke, and at her last words her cheeks renewed their pink hue. "Oh! Um.. Yeah.. Of..Course..Erm... Thanks for the help Professor Blaylock. I er.. just remembered I was supposed to meet someone and er..yeah."

Jasmine tried not to flip out in front of the professor. Oh Merlin! Was she referring to..? And she wanted her to talk to Professor Erikson about...THAT?! Oh geez! Oh no! Starting to feel even more flushed, Jasmine quickly put on her shoes and started backing away toward the trapdoor.

"Thanks again professor. I promise to stop by again sooooon!" The last word was drawn out because in her need to get away from her embarressment, Jasmine had fallen through the trapdoor.

Sitting there stunned for a moment Jasmine scrambled to her feet. OW! Rubbing her sore bum, she quickly assured Professor Blaylock, "I'm OK! No worries! Talk to you later!" Grimacing slightly, Jasmine turned with flaming red cheeks and made her way down the stairs as quickly as she could.

Natasha gestured for the girl to enter, "Of course, my dear...but would you rather not wait til after my lesson?" She looked at her watch, "I don't have much time."

Trying her hardest to hide hesitation, or, abit of nervousness, Savannah paused at the Divinations Professors ladder, that led up to the trap door of the office.

Glancing over her shoulder to make sure both a fellow Hufflepuff, and, Ravenclaw were still with her. "This should be an.. interesting conversation," She mumbled, Oh who was she kidding!? It was going to be awkward. Biting back those silly thoughts, Vannah climbed the first few steps, carefully, and knocked at the door.

Ryan walked up the steps right behind Rapunzel and Savannah. "Well...this is going to be awkward," he said, rocking back and forth from the balls of his feet to his heels.

Rapunzel also hesitated at the door beside Ryan and Savannah. "Yeah, Ryan, you're right," she shrugged. "Er...thanks again for coming with me, guys," she mumbled and stared at the floor.

Blaylock pulled the trapdoor open and looked down the hole at the students gathered there. "Hullo there!" she said cheerfully (what a contrast to the Blaylock seen in class a few days earlier), "Time for another tea party?"

Ryan saw Professor Blaylock poke her head out of the trapdoor. "Hi, Professor!" he said.

He wanted to explain the situation, but since he hadn't been there the whole time...and since it didn't happen to him, he decided to leave it to Rapunzel. "Oh! I would like some tea!" he said. "Anti-oxidants are quite beneficial to the body."

Glancing to Rapunzel as Blaylock pulled the door up, Savannah looked back to her. "Uhm.. That sounds about right, If you don't mind Ma'am." She spoke rather quietly and nodded slightly, "Rapunzel needs to talk to an adult. And I suggested you, since I'd normally suggest our head of house.. but we don't really have a real one at the moment; So, we thought you'd be the next best."

"No real head of house? How preposterous. MO Aggie is as real as they get!" Smiling, Natasha waved them all up, "Come on in then, and we'll discuss whatever it is you need to tell me over a nice hot cup of tea...and I believe some sandwiches would be just nice."

She waved her wand to heat up her teapot and order up some sandwiches from the kitchen. Sitting down at her favourite chair, she waited for them to settle on the other sofas.

Rapunzel nervously followed Savannah and Ryan through the trapdoor. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea after all…and the professor had suggested that the Ministry Official was a perfectly suitable head of house…

Rapunzel sat down on the edge of a squishy sofa. Should she say something? Right now? Or later? Or should she wait until everyone had some nice, calming tea?

She decided to wait for the tea and wait to be prompted further. What was the rush, after all? Mmmm….hot tea….not as good as coffee, but much more tasty than firewhiskey.

"Professor, The headmistress said at the opening feast she's only our sub Head of House. Unless she plans to stay, I wouldn't honestly consider that a real head of house. Just a replacement for the timebeing.." Savannah explained, glancing behind her before going up and into the office.

"Thankyou, by the way." She quickly added with a smile to Professor Blaylock, and followed Rapunzels example to sit down.

Rosalina came in and had some tea.After awhile she said,"Um..Professor...I have some sort of...Seeing ability....I sortof looked into someones past,saw what they were doing presently,and saw there future...."

Ryan poked his head into the room first, before entering fully, and after Rapunzel and Savannah had already entered. He had never been in this office before.

He was immediately hit with the sweet aroma of tea and...*sniff.* Were those cookies he smelled? No...perhaps...the sandwiches? Hmm..

Ryan entered the room on all fours, sniffing the floor. He didn't realize this, of course, until he bonked his nose on a chair. He stood up...trying not to look awkward (TOO LATE!), rubbing his nose, and smiled one of those really cheezy "this is really awkward" smiles. You know.

He sat down awkwardly, but was immediately comforted by the wonderful plush of the chair. He turned around, rubbing the seat cushion. "I just have to know,", he said, "what is this cushion filled with? It's just so...springy and delightful. It makes my bottom feel like a queen...er....King. Yes! King. That's it."

So...he waited...still awkwardly, for the tea and sandwiches. He looked around, admiring all of the crystal balls and whatnot. Well, this office truly expressed the...er...uniqueness of Professor Blaylock. That was for certain.

Blaylock watched the students with a curious expression. There were two very reluctant looking girls, one person claiming the ability to See and one sniffing around.

Well, another day in the north tower, she thought as she raised her teacup to her lips.

"So...what exactly do you want to tell me, dearlings?" she smiled before turning to Ryan, "I'm not sure...down, perhaps?"

Rapunzel winced – yes, she actually winced – when her boyfriend started crawling around on the floor. ‘What a great first impression’...she thought with a sigh. And then he added to the awkwardness by asking the professor what the pillows were stuffed with. ‘Dobby’s sock, he’s such a dork!’

Luckily, Rapunzel kept these thoughts to herself and remained quiet, until Blaylock inquired of her.

She gulped and glanced at Savannah, hoping her friend would speak up…but alas, it was Rapunzel’s problem and she would have to explain. She sat forward, took a sip of tea, and then spoke.

“Er, professor, sorry to bother you, Professor, but I, er….we….kind of think that I might have been…uh.…stalked. From the Fruitsy Tree Grove to the Owlery,” Rapunzel said this very softly and then scooted back into the squishy couch. Oh, the horror, the horror! She was very tempted to hide her face behind one of the soft cushions….

Savannah had to stop from laughing, as she noticed Ryans .. odd, behavior, and Rapunzel wince. It did, infact, amuse her ever so slightly. Not that a good laugh wasn't needed after erm.. the owlery visit, Oh well.

"Yes.. uhm, From what Rapunzel and Ryan told me, the kid was bugging them at the Grove, then Punz came to the owlery.. where I already was, and the kid was following her or something, and basically attacked her, with kisses then told her 'he loved her' and.." Glancing to her dear friend and house mate for a moment, She quickly looked back to Professor Blaylock, frowning slightly. "Rapunzel said she's never ever met him before this." Savannah had told the rest, because it was clear Rapunzel wasn't quite up to it. They had come this far, so.. it was probably best to just spill it.

Rapunzel nodded along with what Savannah had said. Whew, good thing she was there….but maybe Rapunzel should add something…before she lost any more confidence.

She sat up, took a nice long sip of her tea, and then spoke up.

“Yes, Professor, Savannah’s right,” Rapunzel finally said. “I mean, that day in the grove, he tried to offer me flowers…and I’m telling you, I had never seen this kid before,” she stopped and shook her head, green eyes wide with disbelief. “Then the next day, I went to the Owlery and he came up and started snogging me! And said I was his love! But…but I’ve said maybe three words to him! Ever!” Rapunzel couldn’t emphasize this enough. She crossed her arms and sat back on the couch after this little outburst. “I just don’t get it,” she added after a moment, feeling better now. Maybe that tea did have miraculous powers.

"I suspected as much," he said to the Professor, right before taking a HUGE (and I mean monstrous) bite out of a dainty finger sandwich. Okay....so he's kind of weird. But it's only encouraged by Blaylock's aura. I blame her.

But then the conversation started turning serious. "Yeah. Rapunzel and I were enjoying a nice time in the grove when this kid....what was his name? Anyway, he came up to us, and we had never seen him before, and he completely bypassed me and went straight for Rapunzel, saying he loved her. A bit loony, if you ask me. And then later, when I was going up to the owlery to send my parents a thank-you letter for my new Firebolt...I'm the Ravenclaw Seeker....I saw Rapunzel pushing him away...and he had this puckery look on his face. Like he had eaten something sour, only really enjoyed it. I heard him tell her he loved her...again, and she obviously looked pretty mortified. I got really angry, although I didn't lay a hand (or wand) on the poor soul."

He gasped for air (he had said that all in one breath. He should be an Olympic swimmer or something).

And then he took another bite of his sandwich (well...ate the rest of it), and took a sip of tea (pinky out, of course. He musn't make himself look the fool in front of one so proper as Professor Blaylock).

Blaylock had been quite distracted by their interesting tale, enough so that her tea had gone quite cold. Not realizing this, she took a sip only to shudder and put it down. "Nasty, cold tea." she muttered before she pointed her wand at her teapot to warm up the contents.

"So you've never met this person before?" she asked as she watched the enchanted teapot pour her a fresh cup, "Would you be able to identify this student - I sure hope he's a student - if you were to see him in the Great Hall?"

Taking a tentative sip of the tea, Blaylock sighed happily and turned a beatific smile on the students, "I empathize with you, my dear, I know only too well how it feels to be on the receiving end of a surprise embrace. It's quite rude, and we'll have to find this person and teach him the error of his ways."

There was a knock on the door and she called out, "Just one moment, dearling." Rapunzel and her friends would probably not appreciate having strangers witness this conversation.

Rapunzel picked up her cup of tea and took a sip while listening to Ryan’s perspective on the….er….lip attacker. She started laughing at his description of the boy and had to hide her snort while in the midst of swallowing tea, thus causing an uncomfortable amount of the drink to go down the wrong windpipe.

“Har har harrrrrrup hooo no, never seen him before,” Rapunzel managed to choke out in answer to Blaylock’s question. “Um….I think the boy’s name was…was it Deron? Or Devin? Derek maybe? I think he’s a Slytherin,” she squinted, trying to remember the details. “I’m sure I would recognize whats-his-face if I saw him again,” she nodded sternly, then took a longer sip of tea.

Rapunzel heard a knock outside Blaylock’s door and guessed that they were just about done. Good thing they’d decided to come to her…..she’d been very patient and helpful. “Thank you so much, professor, for the tea and everything,” Rapunzel smiled and finished her tea with her little pinkie up, very proper and not at all dorky like Ryan.

Ryan sighed. "Yeah, I think we can identify him. I know he was FOR SURE in the Slytherin house." Of course he could identify this kid! His face would forever be etched into Ryan's memory.
