Adam cracked open the door to the Classroom and inhaled deeply before entering the room.
good.. the smell has gone he thought to himself, and he walked into the classroom and began to set up for the new lesson.
Antidotes was the only word written on the blackboard. | |

Bewildered (and cold), Ryan entered the Potions classroom. He pulled his cloak tighter around him, hoping to seal out some of the cold.
No dice.
He sat down on a chair (which was also cold). He wanted to jump up and yelp at how cold it was and how it stung his bottom, but he decided not to make a fool of himself.
Nodding at the professor, he smiled and said, "Hello. How are you?"
He looked past Professor Dresden and smirked at the board. Nodding at the title, he added, "Suiting name for the lesson, seeing as last lesson was poisons." |

Rapunzel wandered into Potions class, pleasantly surprised to be on time, and almost froze dead in her tracks when she saw who was already there.
"R-Ryan!" she managed to choke out before skipping down the rows of desks to his table. "How've you been, old lad?" she winked like a saucy tater tot and took a seat next to him.

Astral walked into the classroom and found a seat at a table at the back. Hopefully her friends would catch up with her soon. And hopefully this lesson would be easier than the last one.
"Hello Professor," she said, nerves making her voice tremble. She felt she had to say something as she was the second student to enter the room.

Krissy smiled back. "I'm not used to having classes with friends. In the muggle schools I was in all honors classes and wasn't friends with anyone." Digging into her bag Krissy pulled out some parchment and her favorite quill ready to take notes. Potions was not her best subject and she really wanted to change that.

Issy peeked around the door of the Potions Classroom before going in, she saw Ryan and Rapunzel, and immediately felt happy, there was someone to talk to! Then she remembered, Ryan and Rapunzel... What if they didn't want company? Issy panicked, what should she do? Ignore them and maybe they'll be angry at her for ignoring them or something or maybe they want her to go away but they said she could stay because they we're being polite or something and she'd really upset them and now they were gonna hate her forever and ever and ever... "Ohdear." Issy whispered to herself, after confusing herself completely with her innerself ramblings. She's actually quite a clever girl so she quickly thought of a plan, she'd just walk past and make it obvious she was there and hope they ask her to sit down with them, she breathed in deeply and walked steadily down the center of the classroom, giving the Professor a cheerful wave, "Hello Professor! Hi Ryan, Hi Rapunzel..." she said in what she hoped was a casual, off-hand but still friendly manner. She turned to face them and smiled, what if they tell me to go away? She thought suddenly, I'll just pretend I was leaving anyway.

I'm glad you made it too! I'm lousy at this subject maybe you can explain stuff to me back in the common room. Sometimes I'm such a dunderhead!" Krissy giggled

Astral had to laugh at that one, she was right.
But even growing up in a magical family Astral had never had anything to do with potions. It was completely new to her.

That makes sense! Issy thought, We did poisons last lesson... Issy stuck her hand up, and smiled at the Professor, "Can I ask a question, Sir?"

Claudian entered into the class and looked for an empty seat when he spotted the little Ravenclaw girl from Shackleton's office. He had had time to observe her well-thought answers and decided that she was of particular smarts. He moved fast, barely acknowledging his professor as he came in and took a seat right next to Saylie. It was, unfortunately not close enough for him to see her notes or absorb her intelligence through osmosis, so... He took his gigantic foot, hooked it around the legs of Saylie's chair and pulled her in closer to him with little effort. She would've been dwarfed dramatically by the behemouth sixth year Slytherin boy.
He smiled at her. His pale green eyes and gentle-looking features made him look quite sleepy, although he'd gotten enough sleep. He picked up his quill and made a gesture towards her, as if she should pay attention to class, although he'd done this very obvious maneuver with her chair. | |
