Welcome to Hogwart's Care of Magical Creatures Park.

Right on one end of the Grounds there's a securely gated park, big enough to hold Hogwarts's Magical Creatures. This is the place where all magical creatures reside and are taken care off; feeding, cleaning, training.. etc etc. If you want to learn more about them in your spare time or lend an extra hand to take care of them with your CoMC Professor then this is your place to be. Extra credit points will be issued for dedicated students.

Park #61:

Contains all creatures with ratings X-XXX, this area of the park is safe for students to carry chores on their own. Professor supervision is not mandatory unless it requires his immediate attention or inquiry related.

Reminders:
XXX - Strong wizard can cope with this type of creature.
XX - Can be domesticated and trained.
X - Boring

With Henry the fat lizard tucked tightly under one arm, Clifford wandered into the Magical Creatures Park. He was pretty ecstatic that Emily had actually trusted him to lizard-sit and wanted to make the most of the short time him and Henry had together. He planned on visiting everywhere possible before Henry had to go home. This was spot number one.

“Would Henny Wenny like to say Hello to the other animals?” He said to the fat lizard in his arms. “Oooooh, can Henny Wenny see Mr. Hippogwiffy over there? If you eat all your salad you will grow big and strong like Mr. Hippogwiffy.” He smiled, petting the lizard softly.

Diabolica got out a brush-of-sorts and started to brush the hippogriff while feeding him another slab of fish. She really did love CoMC.

Clifford continued tickling Henry the Lizard’s head and watched curiously as an older Slytherin started grooming and feeding one of the Hippogriffs. She looked like she knew what she was doing and hesitantly Clifford approached her, his grip on Henry tightening. “E-Excuse me?” He called to her nervously.

Derek handed her the present. "It only costed a few 7 gallions.", he smiled. Pie lay down and drank water. Lizzie, Derek's overweight lizard, crawled out of Derek's bag and over to Clifford who was holding Henrey.

"You got it,I should have known."She smiled a smile that hadn't been seen for months even with Jake.As she opend it she looked at the braclet.It was beautiful the word hope smiled at her in someway and gave her some in her heart.She tilted her head sidway and looked at it.She gave him a hug then stepped back.She pulled it out of the box and tried to put it on but it wouldn't clasp"Do you think you could help me please?"

Clifford was about to reach up and poke the older Slytherin when he spotted a fat lizard waddling toward him. He automatically panicked, thinking he had accidently dropped Henry, but quickly realised that this was another fat lizard.

Oh dear, this probably wasn't very good. He didn't want a bazillion overweight baby lizards running around! Henry was in his care, Emily probably wouldn't appreciate it if anything happened. And so, with a gulp he took a step back, backing away from fat lizard number two and clinging onto Henry for dear life.

She smiled a big smile again"Thankyou so much,but why did you buy it for me?"She was a very curious person and this usally scared people.She looked at it and smiled again.

Clifford held Henry up higher out of Lizard Number Two's reach, this was not good. Sure, he had said Henry might need some Lizard company but he had only been half-serious. "I think you got yourself a stalker buddy." Clifford mumbled to the lizard before looking around for the owner of Fat Lizard Number Two.

Still holding Henry a safe distance away, Clifford glanced down at Fat Lizard Number Two, just to make sure it wasn't attempting to crawl up his leg. It was then he noticed the collar it was wearing flash. Apparently her name was Lizzie! What a strange coincidence! And that she belonged to a Derek.

Now who was Derek? Hmmm. Looking around, Clifford spotted a familiar Slytherin wround his own age that looked like he could be a Derek. "Hey, excuse me." He called, approaching the boy. "Are you Derek? And does that Fat Lizard Number Two belong to you?"

Since she had already finished her vampire’s book, Evangeline had to find something else to fill her mind. And the first book which had appeared happened to be one about Hippogriffs. So she had decided to go down to the Magical Creatures Park and see the animals, trying to understand if they were as fascinating as they looked. And there she was now.

She glanced around, trying to find the Hippogriffs but something else caught her attention though. Her stomach gave a nervous flip when she saw Clifford, things were still bad between them and she wasn’t even sure if he was talking to her or not. Either way, she decided to approach him anyway, she couldn’t just pretend she hadn’t seen him could she? “Hey Clifford.” She bit her lip, it felt weird calling him that. She then realised someone else was there and she recognised the boy from the Common Room. Derek or something. “Hey…” She smiled at him before looking back at Clifford, or at the lizard in Clifford’s hands and wrinkling her nose. Clifford hadn’t told her anything about a pet lizard.

Clifford was waiting for some kind of reply from the boy when he heard another voice. Another voice that belonged to a person whom he hadn't quite been on speaking terms with the last few days. A voice that somehow made his stomach twist nervously. He hugged Henry tighter to his chest as he turned around to face Evangeline.

"Hey Evangeline." He said politely. He had to bite his tongue to stop himself asking how Edward was doing. That probably wasn't the best move, not right now anyway. He noticed her looking at Henry and held the lizard out so he could have a good old sniff of her face. Henry seemed to recoil however and Clifford snorted meanly. "I dunno if you've met Henry before, he belongs to Emily. I'm lizard-sitting while she does some homework." He said with a small smirk.

Evangeline backed away when Clifford held the lizard out to her…it was too close to her face. Just way too close. She breathed out a small sigh of relief when the lizard seemed to recoil but raised an eyebrow at Clifford’s snort. Apparently things were still bad.

“No, I don’t believe I had the pleasure to meet him yet.” She told him eyeing the lizard suspiciously. Had he said the lizard was called Henry? Weird… Her head snapped back up when he said something about an Emily. Something about the way he had said her name woke something inside of her. She studied his face closely, the twinkle in her eyes fading when she saw his smirk. It wasn’t his usual teasing, playful smirk; it was almost cruel. “Lizard-sitting eh? Seems you’re getting along quite well with Henry.” She eyed the lizard once more. Stupid animal.

Clifford nodded and clung to Henry even tighter, the smirk still spread across his face. "Yeah, Henry's cool. He sleeps, eats and doesn't like books about Vampire's called Eddie." He tickled Henry's stomach and clucked softly. "We actually have quite a lot in common y'know, both being pretty dumb and all." He looked back up at Evangeline. "I would let you hold him, but strangers scare him sorry." He knew he was probably taking things a little over the top, but he couldn't seem to stop. He was actually enjoying this, his Father would be proud.

Evangeline’s jaw dropped at Clifford’s words, or someone’s words, because that was not the Clifford she knew. She could feel something in her throat and coughed, taking the moment to recollect herself, before looking back at Clifford. “Hmmmmm…it sounds like the perfect relationship.” She told him, rolling her eyes. “And I bet Henry likes Quidditch…and that he never bores you with his endless reading.” She took a deep breath, it was getting slightly harder to breathe, no matter how much she tried to deny the pain she was starting to feel. “And he probably is a pureblood right? I bet your brother will be proud.” She smirked back at him. When he said Henry didn’t like strangers, she folded her arms across her chest and shook her head. “Don’t worry, I don’t want to hold your stupid pet either.”

The smirk on Clifford's face only seemed to grow when he noticed how uncomfortable Evangeline seemed to become. He had no idea he could cause so much pain, this was an interesting outcome.

His jaw dropped in mock surprise at Evangeline's words. "My oh my, would you look at that! Evangeline you're right as usual. What - a - suuurprise." He snorted and rolled his eyes. He knew from the very first time he met her they were complete opposites. She was smart, he was - well, dumb. She liked books and he liked Quidditch. It was a miracle they had lasted so long without a disagreement.

He felt himself biting at the inside of his cheek to stop the words that were itching to come out. He couldn't do it. Not here. Not infront of everyone. But oh, how he longed to say them. "I know my Father would be giving me the thumbs up right now...." He smirked cruelly, still keeping tight hold of Henry.

Even though Evangeline knew exactly what was happening, and even though she couldn’t recognise the person infront of her anymore, she wasn’t willing to let it happen. It couldn’t. Just the very thought of it was enough to make her want to cry, how would she be able to live through it? How she wished the could faint again, it’d be much better. At least she didn’t have to look at Clifford’s twisted face anymore.

She rolled her eyes at his words and decided to ignore them. She could feel people’s gaze on them and the last thing she wanted was a scandal. She looked up at him and tried to make her voice sound as cold and emotionless as possible. “Let’s just go somewhere quieter.” She turned her back on him and started walking away, wondering when would she wake up from this nightmare.

Clifford couldn't help feel a little disappointed when Evangeline seemed to completely ignore his small digs at her. It wasn't much fun if he didn't seem to be affecting her at all.

"Okay, yeah, whatever." He replied, following behind her, making sure not to get too close. He smirked as if stroked the fat lizard that was till in his arms. Maybe he could order Henry to bite her, now that would be amusing.

Somewhere quiter was good, then he'd be able to say all the things he needed to get off his chest.

Diabolica soon came out of her trance-like state and noticed the Slytherin boy calling to her. Then, before she could respond, he was leaving, and so, she went back to caring for the hippogriff, and soon enough, another wandered over toward her, intrigued by the fish she was holding.

AJ smiled and entered the premises(sp?) of the Magical Creature Park, and immediately approached Professor Clark, "Hello professor, how are you this fine day?" she asked looking around, but didn't really wait for an answer, "I would love to help out, but I really don't know what all needs doing, so is there somethig you'd like done? Any sea serpents?!" she asked excitedly, remembering Beastie.

Christian had nearly killed himself when he remembered that he had left Shadow in Professor Clark's office. If Fabian wasn't mad at the fact that Christian left Shadow in his bag, then he would probably accuse Christian of animal neglect.

He hadn't noticed Fabian in his office, so he figured that the man would be out here taking care of the animals. He looked around the groups of people and animals trying to find the man. "Sir?" He called out unsurely.
