Despite the upheaval due to the precipitous arrival of the Ministry Official, Professor Branxton was his usual uptight and perfectly proper self. Nothing less than the kidnapping of his children seemed to phase him. He opened the door to his classroom and walked toward the chalkboard.
He waved his wand to charm a grid onto the backboard, then began to write in his perfect hand:

Alycya walked silently into the classroom. She looked around and found that she was the first there. This was the first time she had been first to class. She found a seat that was in the middle of the class and set her things down upon it. She looked up at Professor Braxton and said, "Hello Professor, how are you today?" She continued to get her stuff out of her bag. She got her parchment and a quill and wrote The Packing Charm across the top of the parchment. She placed her quill down on her desk and looked up to the front of the class, waiting for the class to begin.

"As you can see, we will be discussing and learning the packing charm. I know this is an horrifically simple question and I apologize for insulting your intelligence but, please bear with me and think of it as an attempt at jump starting your brains this morning. How does this charm fit with our current theme: Charms for Travel?"

"I've read about it Professor, but I haven't seen anyone perform it, except my mother, but she's not the best at them." Ariana replied, raising her hand and smiling. She was excited to learn this spell, perhaps it would be the best thing for her dirty dorm of doom. She wrote down more information, keeping an eye on the professor in case there as another question.

Xana raised her hand slightly and spoke in a soft, shy voice from her seat at the back of the class. "I've performed this charm before, several times. But I never pack much when I've used it anyway-- I travel light."
She'd moved around so much that she couldn't imagine not using this kind of practical charm... she hoped she wouldn't be in trouble for speaking up in class; she still felt unsure of the rules in these settings.

"It is similiar, I suppose, to the unpacking charm but, quite different in most aspects," Professor Branxton replied. "The incantation is very simple and easy to remember. Those of you unfamiliar with the charm may even be able to guess what it is. So, who can tell me?"

"Yes, you are absolutely correct. And the wand motion is, thus," he said and demonstrated the sweeping motion of his arm. Then, he placed some objects on his desk along with a bag. He swept his wand over the desk and said, "Pack." The items flew into the bag which zipped itself shut.
ooc: Here's the video. Professor Branxton has only shown the very first segment "Basic Wand Movement" so, just pause the movie there and we'll continue along in a moment.
