Dans wand lay flat in his hand " point me " he said firmly and too his relife like the professors his wand turned to point towards the window

Camira smirked at her wand as she laid it flat in her palm. "Point Me", she said firmly. She watched the wand spin and point North. Satisfied, she put the wand down and waited.

Liz layed her plam flat but by accident she put her pointer finger up and little.She said"Point Me." It began turning and it flew out of her hand and hit Yaxley in the head. Her wand fell to the floor and rolled to the professer's feet."Oops."Liz mumbled.

Zora looked at her wand which she had actually gotten the correct way thanks to Astrals help. Now for this spell apparently saying Point Me will make this stick move. Zora looked at the stick in her hand wishing in her head that it would work.

Zora said "Point Me" with more hope than confidence.

It moved she was really surprised almost to the point of getting out of her seat. Then she realize umm it moved and natural reaction took affect causing her to take her hand away from the wand letting it drop on the table.

Zora whispered " Umm I said something to the wand and it moved " a bit surprised then she picked up the wand and held it in her hand like Astral had showed her. Hoping no one would make fun of her for that little outburst of surprise.

Astral smiled as one of the witches wands went clattering to the desk and she quickly bent to retrieve it. Thank goodness that didn't happen to me. She thought, though it probably would have if she'd stopped long enough to be nervous.
"Hey good job!" she nodded to Anita. Maybe her advice had helped?
And Kayle got it first go too. Well, she was very keen to do well in this class. Good on her!

Qaz placed her wand on the palm of her hand, just like the Professor instructed and said 'Point Me.' Her wand rotated so that the tip pointed in the same direction as the instructor. She was pleased that it worked on the first try. This would come in handy when she didn't have the sun or stars to guide her. She practiced the charm several more times, just to make sure it had sunk in.

She tried the charm a couple more times, still not believing she got it to work. Each time she said the incantation firmly and the wand spun around to point North like it was supposed to. Smiling to herself, she thought, "Maybe this won't be so bad after all!"

Tori laughed. "I have," she admitted. "For way too long."

Tori looked at Zora, amused by Zora's surprise. "Better get used to it," she teased, smiling at Zora to let her know that she wasn't trying to make fun of her. "Soon you'll be getting other things to move, too."

As Heather placed her wand in her hand she breathed deeply and said"point me,"the wand twitched in her hand.She knew she was nervous and tried again"Point me,"the wand spinned half way around in her hand 'so thats north' she thought.She put her wand on the table and ran her hand through her hair and watched the other attempts.

Astral tried the charm a few more times, thrilled that it worked each time. Zora was having a little trouble. But then Zora seemed to be having trouble believing she could actually do magic.
"It's Ok Zoraida. you wouldn't be here if you weren't truly a witch! I've seen you stand up to older kids, and Slytherins," she took a quick look around the room to see if any Slytherins were listeing - quite frankly they scared her. "I know you can do this too!"

Kayla laid her wand down beside her and waited for their next instructions. Her stomach gave a very loud rumble it seemed to echo around the room, she shrunk down in her seat obviously the two cookies she had for breakfast were not enough. God she was starving, serves her right for staying up late and not getting enough sleep.

"Point me. Point me. Point me. Point me. Point me." Helios had a stone faced expression as he twirled his wand around his palm after every incantation. It seemed apparent that he had learned this one quite early, and was already well aquainted with his wand. It was an invaluable help when lost in the forest.

Sitting with the Hufflepuff girls, he did his best to pay attention to the teacher and not their banter.

Kristyn looked around the room at all the other students successfully pointing their wands north. she looked at her wand in her hand and whispered "Point me".
The wand twitched but did nothing more. Kristyn sighed deeply. "I guess I'll have to work on it."

Sarah heard the girl next to her stomach rumble. She felt sorry for the poor girl and reached into her bookbag and grabed the chips she had stowed away in her bag. "Hey do you want these?" she asked with a smile. Merlin knew that she wasn't going to eat them anytime soon.

"Wow Helios, you're great at that! I bet you are going to do so well in Charms," Astral was willing to bet that it was the Prince's strong personality that made the wand point so decisively.

Camira was watching everyone when a wand suddenly hit the back of her head.
Camira turned and glared icily at the Hufflepuff. "Watch what you're doing, you incompetent fool", she snarled.

Without batting an eye, Tag reached down and smothered the circular burn in his trousers with one thumb. The material hissed, sending up a tendril of smoke. He and Whende did not have a pleasant history with fire. He had a feeling she might enjoy watching his pants burn, especially if that meant she could get a glimpse of his attractive knees.

"Don't tempt me," he retorted to Bucky, balancing his wand in one palm. "Zapping you would be a kindness. I was thinking more along the lines of ear-engorgement. You'd like to look like an elephant for awhile, wouldn't you? Point me." The wand jittered and then produced a small stream of pumpkin coffee and cream. It had apparently become confused between 'tempt me' and 'point me'.

Tag's head snapped to attention. Still dripping with lukewarm coffee, he turned in his seat and fixed a direct gaze upon the Slytherin girl. "Hey! Leave the girl alone. She didn't mean to." You'd think the first-years would be kinder to one another, seeing how they were all beginners together. But still, there were always the few who needed a little reminding.

Kayla looked tired.
Astral was just itching to ask her what had really happened between her and Helios last night. But there were too many other students watching.

Noticing Helios' success Kristyn decided to try and be more firm with her wand, she so wanted to impress him, even though she couldn't explain it. "Point me." she said with all the strength her voice could muster Kristyn's wand spun around her palm and pointed north. this was the first time she had ever used her wand and she could not be any happier.

Kayla looked over at Astral and gave her a weak smile and rubbed her stomach which kept on making some very loud noises. "I'm so hungry" she mouthed to her.

She noticed another first year giving Helios an admiring glance. She nodded her head towards the girl so that Astral would see. "Seems I've got competition" she whispered.

"This wand won't move" Kaika said, shacking her wand to see if it actually did anything..

After four times she hopped that this would be it..."Oh! Awesome! Finally" said excited and really out loud!.."Maybe that shacking thing worked" she thought..

"I'm trying it again!", and continued working on it..

Celestina could only roll her eyes at Tag. If he kept this whole "I'm am annoyed man and I am about to make your life miserable" act she was going to have to declare her criminally adorable and attack him. Just because. "You'd be the one in trouble. What would people say? You have an elephant for a girlfriend. How grand," Bucky muttered frowning at her wand in her hand. "Point me."

The wand began spinning but she was distracted by Tag's mishap and she snorted. "Nice."

But her wand wouldn't stop spinning.

"You should eat that. Maybe you'd stop being so cranky." Even though the frown you're wearing is most becoming.



Bucky's green eyed widened as Tag went to the rescue, sort of. Even though he was no longer Prefect he seemed to have retained the sense of responsibility. Bucky tried not to grin foolishly at her boyfriend.

She failed miserably.

Zora had her wand stick thingy in her hand. She was just sitting there staring at it When Tori said some encouraging words. Zora looked at the stick that had managed to move thinking if someone had told her a month ago a stick could move she would have been surprised. However memories of her early child hood proved she had a good imagination after all she had imagined her mom cleaning something by waving a stick in front of her head and saying something.

Zora said quietly " Yea other things moving got it" still in slight shock from before. Then after a bit the shock wore off.

Zora thinking about it a bit looking first to Astral then to Tori said quietly " I guess you guys are right. This is certainly going to be interesting. "

"I've always got chocolate frogs," Astral whispered to Kayla and handed her one, hopping the Professor wouldn't see.
She pointed to Kayla's wand and her own palm and gave kayla the thumbs up, trying to tell Kayla she was doing really well without actually speaking.
