The Arithmancy classroom doors are held open (by magic of course) as a means of inviting you in to attend the last Arithmancy class of the term before the final exam. Professor Shackleton is sitting behind her desk in cream-colored robes, her hair pulled up into a mound of curls on her head, making last minute adjustments to today's lesson plan. As you enter the room, she looks up to greet you with a smile and asks, "Won't you please take a seat and have your journals out on your desk?" | |

Emily wandered into the Arithmancy classroom and smiled at Professor Shackleton. Ems enjoyed this lesson even though she had a few problems understanding it. She wandered to her usual seat at the back of the classroom and gave Eva an obvious fake smile on the way past. She sat down and opened her journal ready for the lesson to begin.

Professor Shackleton's smile widened with each student's greeting. She replied to those who asked how she was doing, "Quite well, thank you. Are you all excited to return home at the end of term?" She then added to the class as a whole, "I think we'll wait just a few more minutes to allow more of your classmates to join us. I plan to be a bit more generous with house points than normal since you won't be getting any homework tonight, so I hope you've all prepared for the lesson!"
To the student who asked if she could switch seats, Macadrian sensed that she was holding some bit of information to herself, but replied sensibly, "Of course you may, but once my lesson starts, I expect decorum and no chatting unless I ask you to. Fair enough trade?"

Seating next to Emily, she spoke to her. She didn´t want to start a conversation, she only wanted to change a few words with Ellie's bestfriend:
"Hi Emily." she said with a little sarcasm. Then, her face became more serious and she said what she wanted. "How is Ellie? Do you know where she is? I really need to speak with her. A seriously conversation."
Eva waited for emily's answer. Hope that the class don´t start before she answers; I won´t miss this class for anything! she tought.

Amelia grinned when the Professor told them no homework tonight; she loved the subject very much indeed but hated homework more than ever. She shrugged her shoulders indifferently, "Sort of Professor. I will be anxious most of the summer until I receive my OWL results, but at the same time excited that they are over. Also, when I am home, I need to deal with my older brothers..." she rolled her eyes at that thought before returning the question to the professor, "So are you excited to return home or wherever you go on breaks?"

Emily frowned as Professor Shackleton gave Eva permission to move next to her. ‘Ah great’ She thought sarcastically. She didn‘t like this girl. Not one bit after the trouble she‘d caused Elle. “What do you want? I don‘t have your quill.” She hissed.
She looked Eva in the eyes at her next question. “No. I haven’t seen her. I thought she’d be here actually.” She then turned away from the girl wanting to keep 'conversation' to an absolute minimum and concentrate on the lesson.

Walking around the front of the desk, Macadrian announced, "Well, I suppose now is as good a time as any to start this lesson. Let's see who did the reading before coming to class. Three points to whoever can tell me what three core companion numbers this lesson will cover!"
