Lainey was dressed like Santa Claus. She had on a big red coat that swept the floor, a hat with a little white fuzz ball on the end, and black boots. If the students knew who Santa was at all, they'd know right off exactly what she was supposed to be.
Lainey propped open the door to her classroom and leaned against it as she waited for her students to arrive. It was promising that today's lesson would, at the very least, be interesting. | |

Emily wandered into the classroom and jumped when she saw the gentleman in red. She stared for a moment before realising it was in fact Professor Lainey underneath the fake white beard. Emily frowned thoughtfully - this was some odd muggle tradition as far as she could recall. “Sandy Claws” Emily muttered to herself, making her way to the back of the classroom, sitting down and taking out her notebook and quill.

Hmmm.
Walking into the class, he looked up from the pile of books he was observing before he stepped into the class and froze. He dropped his books, shocked at what his eyes saw. One of the books fell on his foot, making him start jumping on one foot.
Starting back at the person while he placed his foot back to the ground with a slight once, he moved a little forward.
"What in blazes?!"

Ariana walked into the room, expecting to see a normally dressed professor Lainey, instead she saw Santa Claus. "Santa? What are you..." her eyes went wide and she started giggling, "Oh hello professor! Nice costume!" she said realizing it was Lainey dressed up. Walking to her normal seat and dropping her bag on the floor beside her, she sighed a bit and yawned slightly. She hadn't been getting a lot of sleep lately, always having that darn monkey dream. Shaking it off, she took out her favorite quill and got ready to take notes.

With trusty bag over her shoulders, textbooks and a few more spare parchments at hand, Lindsey brushed her orange-brown hair away from her shoulders and entered the classroom just to be abrutly brought to a stop. Her eyes grew quite a lot and she blinked at .... Santa? It took her a bit of reason and better eye sight to figure out that was just Proffessor Lainey, dressed up in a very traditional muggle outfit. Had she walked into the wrong class? Perhaps Lainey also taught muggle studies? Well, she had that textbook too, perhaps she should just sit and wait. Things would get figured out.
"Er--... good afternoon proffessor," Lindsey murmured as she took the nearest seat before she fell. She must've fallen and yelled at some point because she heard...someone do so. Perhaps it had been her? She turned around, blinking, and realized, indeed, it had not been her, but a familiar voice.
"Hi Kingston," she smiled blankly, still wondering if she was truly in the right class.
