| | Herbology Lesson Two: Magical Manipulation Scattered about the classroom were various pots, types of soil, and seeds of all varieties. There were also little sealed boxes at each station. Try as you might, there are no opening these. Not until they are unsealed, at least. The boxes seem to exude heat, as though there were a fire within the box.
Erikson walked around, checking on various containers, and making sure a good deal of them were sturdy enough. This would be an interesting class period, he was sure. Once he was certain everything was set, he went to check on his supply of dragonhide gloves. |

Zoraida had no questions so just looked at her two plants. Which was more plants than she had ever had grow that quick. The red glowing warm one was cool hopefully they would get to take them back to there common rooms but she doubted it.

This was more of an exercise to allow you to use your skills in the class already, and let you see the sorts of things you can do."

Hogwarts RPG Name: Michael Alexander DeLarge (a.k.a. Mick) Fifth Year | Wednesday raied her hand. "You work in the Ministry?" she asked aloud. Then Wednesday kept her mouth shut before she can ask more because she thought the question was probably too personal.

Erikson shrugged. "From time to time." He looked around. Anything else? Well, I suppose if there's really anything, you can ask me. However, I should assign homework." With a wave of his wand, he put it up on the board: Quote:
Each question worth 5 points:
1) What are some reasons for magical manipulation of a plant?
2) What are some risks in manipulating a plant?
3) Name some methods to magically manipulate a plant.
EC:
What could be done with a rose bush to enhance it or make it more useful to the magical community?

Cassandra wrote the homework down and put her things together. She sat patiently waiting for the professor to dismiss them.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Jasmine Aurora Lumino Fifth Year | Jasmine wrote down the homework and put everything away. Looking at her two plants, she raised her hand. "Professor Erikson, what are we to do with our plants?" She gave her slightly hic-cupping peppermint plant a rather fond look.

If any dragon sand got out it would be disastrous. However, your personal plants you can leave here, take with you, or plant them in the student gardens." He looked around. "If no one else has any more questions, you're free to leave."

Hogwarts RPG Name: Jasmine Aurora Lumino Fifth Year | Jasmine nodded and happily hugged her peppermint plant,"I'll take mine with me please. I miss Fred."she finished sadly.
As students began to leave, Jasmine left her things at her seat and approached Professor Erikson. Pulling on on his sleeve so he bent down, she whispered in his ear, "Professsor, have you found anything out about my box yet?"

Hogwarts RPG Name: Alex Black First Year | SS Featured Writer Lovely Lady Excelsior wrote down the homework assignment and gathered his things together to leave. He took the strange little plant with him, not the Chinese bamboo glass one, of course. "Thank you, professor. I'll be planting this in the student garden," he said, carefully carrying it out the door. He could come and visit it and know it would be healthy in the garden. |
