Keller headed back to his seat, realizing that Jasmine's warning was probably correct. But he changed his mind and quickly gathered his stuff and grabbed an open chair next to Cassandra. He turned and winked at her before laying his books and such back out on the desk.

Jasmine turned and looked at Eternal and smiled wanly,"Oh thank you but,I already know what lies ahead for me." Her eyes became troubled again as she remembered her reading. Well, that won't happen. Not if I can help it anyways ,she thought determinedly.

Cassandra blushed. She turned to her her ball, and tried to clear her mind... but it was going everywhere... Alex... Keller... Erikson... She sighed. Why couldn't she just concentrate on the class today?

Did Keller just sit next to her? She blushed... "I'm... ok I guess..."

Celestina took a deep breath and turned her back to the muggle soap opera cast. Eternal might not have a complete hold of her sense but her hormones seemed to be in check and it was all she could ask for.

Her attention was now on Jasmine and Bucky tried to concentrate for the fourth time on her super large crystal sphere. It was hard though with all the tension floating around her. Closing her eyes she decided she would clear her mind before she actually gazed into the ball.

She even ignored Marco's threat for now. There was always another day she could chuck a ball at the side of his head.

"Oh but dear, I see something to be wary about as I am concentrating on you right now, young one." Eternal cleared her thoughts and peered deeply into her mirror. The reflection started to swirl and a haze casted over and the clouds were forming in the center. She breathed lightly and closed her mind off from the otherworld.

"For you, my dear, I see a sorrow coming soon. Lots of tears will be shed on your part. A death might occur, but I can't see for sure. I see... a hatred boiling into rage from someone coming for you."

She got out of her daze and she grinned like a cheshire cat. "Well, doesn't that sound lovely?"

Celestina couldn't help but snicker loudly at Eternal's obliviousness or perhaps twisted perspective of what was lovely and what was morbid.

"A happier ending I have never heard!" She quipped before turning her attention once more to the crystal ball on her lap.

Jasmine listened to Eternal's reading and she felt the color leave her face as she remembered the image from her reading. Clearing her throat she smiled thinly, leaned forward and said,"This, my dear, is not news to me. Which is why I am taking measures to ensure that the death that occurs will not be the one I have foreseen, but that of my own. They murdered my parents, I will not let them murder anyone else I care about."

Pulling back, Jasmine faced back toward the front of class and kicked herself for saying too much once again. Her emotions were way out of whack and she felt like she was about to lose control at any moment.

Marco spotted Jasmine rather upset. She had told him part of what she had just said. He didn't know they would kill everyone that got close to her. He reached over and gave her a hug. He knew she needed one, and hoped it made her feel better.

Eternal rolled her silver eyes that quickly turned to black. Oh she was of course, fumbling around with the web of human glamour on her, but she didn't change back. She tsked. "Oh dear, just except this fate that is bestowed upon you. No one can change their fate. And if you try, well, a death will happen on someone's part," she smiled that wicked smile that she had ever since she got in-tune with her evil unseelie side. "Try as you might, I think something is faulty in your false happiness you play out day to day."


Eternal smiled at Bucky. Well at least she... well, liked it?

"Happy endings only occur to some of the lucky." Her eyes turned back to their normal silver and she placed her mirror on the table, quite pleased with herself.

Jasmine felt Marco hug her from the sideand she leaned in a moment and whispered, "Thank you" with a small smile. Sitting back straight she decided to write sown some notes from class to keep her occupied.

Jasmine heard Eternal's words and chose to ignore her. Silly girl. She had no idea.

"Personally," Bucky commented loudly rubbing the sphere as it grew cold. "I think everyone needs to focus on the now and not worry so much about the future. I mean--Look where it got Blaylock!" She commented way too loudly and pointed at the Professor.

Everyone knew about the rumors with Manly Man and now Cassandra was saying he was flirting with some miniature Blaylock?



Again, Bucky snickered. When had Eternal become so amusing? Last time she had spoken to her she was busy with shiny stickers and ribbons. My, how time flies.

"That's why we have fiction," commented casually the red head and peered into the globe, practicing those breathing exercises she had seen Blaylock use more than once.

Marco smiled, "You are welcome."

He pulled some parchment, quill and ink, from his robe pocket. Who needed a bag when they had robes?

"Ummm Bucky she is right there," Marco whispered at her, "She can hear you."

Eternal wanted to curtsie and tell everyone she would be doing readings whenever they came near the blackthorn tree on the grounds. Be there everyday waiting for the young and innocent to come get their fortune told. She nodded to Bucky. "Fiction is what is the best! Romance, fantasy, mystery, the ultimate works."

She noticed that Jasmine wasn't talking anymore. Oh well, she would see soon enough about the truth in her words.

As Heather sat there trying to concentrate the chatter drove her crazy.She counted down from twenty and watched the world slip away.

She opend her eyes and saw the swirling of everything in front of herself.The past flew by in the crystal ball and then the next occuring events Lillian was in a coffin.Her foster mother was dying before her eyes.She watched as she walked downa path hand in hand with her guy friends Jake.She couldn't take anymore when she saw his face shinng from a coffin.

She accidently knocked it off the table.With a loud clunk it jit the floor.She closed her eyes praying for it all to be a dream.She mumbled"Sorry,"to the people she ditracted then she started to mumble to herself "Liliana..and..and..Jake."She put her face in heads trying to remove the images but all it did was give thema distinctive details.

"Bucky Hush!" Cassandra whispered nervously... "She's right here..."

Cassandra blushed and stared at her ball, but all she could see was Keller's reflecting in it. Flubberworms!

Blaylock had been circling the classroom, not really paying attention but she looked up when she heard her name. It looked like Bucky and gang were having a grand old time with their predictions. She was just glad the young Gryffindor hadn't knocked herself or anyone else unconscious with one of the balls.

She caught the context of what Bucky had said though and a frown creased her brow. The rumours were all rubbish, of course, but it still hurt that there were rumours. She didn't want to go there anymore...that topic had been opened far too many times.

"Alright, I see you've all got the gist of it..." she said, "I expect you're all qualified to set up a fortune telling stand at one of the muggle fairs."

"Some of you have actually managed a trance, and perhaps even seen shapes and visions in the smoky swirls of your crystal balls." Here she paused and gave the group gathering in the front of the class a significant look, "And some of you have managed to show me that your careers lie in the arena of creative writing."

Cassandra's eyes widened... she just didn't want to read the crystal ball... she was too afraid she was going to see Alex with someone else, or Erikson with that... Xana. She wanted to throw up now.

Marco laughed, "I found clouds in my prediction. I am guessing it is going to be cloudy tonight."

Blaylock noticed that Cassandra looked a bit green about the gills. She frowned, wondering that perhaps she would like a cup of tea...

"Divination is an inexact science..." she paused and grinned, "no, no, let me remedy that. Divination is an art...there is no one true way to get visions, in fact, there is no guarantee that you will get visions at all. The purpose of today's lesson was to show you the more ..." she wanted to say ridiculous, but settled on another word, "impracticable methods of Divination."

Cassandra's eyes went to her ball... her eyes went blank. It was cloudy, but it soon cleared... she saw the lake, the water was frozen... there was snow still on the ground. And there was Alex, walking hand in hand with... Diabolica Alimentazione!

Something stirred in her stomach... she felt gas coming up, but fought for it to stay down... No no no... not now... "Professor?" Cassandra stood, and held her mouth. She couldn't continue asking to leave... First Erikson, now this! Cassandra turned toward the door, but before she could take even her first step...

She reached Marco and couldn't move any further. Cassandra heaved, covering her mouth... something was dripping from her hand, she finally removed her hand to hold herself up and threw up on the quidditch captain's lap.

Marco was about to stand up to help Cassandra, she was obviously in distress. When she came to him. The contents of her stomach were now sitting in his lap. And these were his brand new robes. It was understandable, and he would rather her throw up on him than the floor, but she could've run or something.
"You ok now Cassandra?" he asked sympathetically, "Feel any better?"

Blaylock turned to the Slytherin and froze when she saw what was going to happen. Then as if it was playing in slow-motion, she saw every movement in super slow speed...but she couldn't seem to move.

It was like watching an accident. You just can't make yourself look away from the destruction.

Then it was over. Marco was covered in bile and she herself was feeling a bit green.

"Pants."

"Sorry!" Cassandra said to Marco near tears... she then turned to the professor, "I'm so sorry professor... I... I tried, I really did!" She fell to her knees and felt a second coming of her lunch trying to make it's way past her throat. Her hand covered her mouth again.

"Oh pants, pants, PANTS!" Blaylock cried as she bent down to help Cassandra off the floor. "You have to go to the Hospital Wing, dearling, just...try to hold it in while I wrap up here."

She turned to the class, still holding the shivering Cassandra in her arms, "Class is dismissed, the homework will be posted on your noticeboards later today."

Diabolica cringed when Trelawney vomited. Ick. She was quite intrigued about what had caused it, though...what would cause such medically violent reactions? She shrugged and gathered her stuff. All in all, not a bad class...a short one, but not bad.
