Diabolica looked past the crystal still--and saw something. It resembled a stick--no, a sword. She looked that up in her book and saw that that meant conflict...and she knew exactly what conflict that was...

"Actually yes..." Cassandra whispered with a smile. "But if you feel you have this under control Bucks, I'm sure you... will do... fine." Cassandra looked back at her own crystal ball... she so didn't feel like doing this right now.

Angelika continued to stare at the crystal ball. Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale...She did not bother to wonder what the clouds were, because she was far too fascinated. Now the clouds were thinning...there was something behind them, but she could not tell what it was. Determined not to get aggravated, Angelika placidly stared at the crystal ball...and its clouds and random shapes.

Jasmine turned to Cassandra and held a hand to her throat in mock dismay,"She speaks! It's about time Trelawney, I was beginnig to get worried about you." she teased.

Then turning back to her crystal ball, she spun in in place and said almost to herself,"I don't need an inner eye to know my future Trelawney. That was decided lon ago."

Bucky wrinkled brow made her look more preoccupied than she really was. Placing down the massive sphere on her lap before she popped her own elbows, Celestina nodded at Cassandra.

"This is going nowhere," she contemplated in a whisper. "I mean--We all know I don't have the sight...or whatever you want to call it."

Heather sat there and took a few deep breaths and counted back from twenty.Her head was as clear as it could possibly be and when she looked into the crystal ball she saw nothing.She slumped down and knew why.Her head wasnt perfectly clear.She fiddled wth her fingers as a tear rolled down her cheek.She wiped it away and tried again counting from thirty this time.Still nothing.

Omceher breathing was under control she began to count from ten. Ten...nine...eight...seven...soon she opened her eyes and stared into the ball, her green eyes seeing nothing but white fluffy shapes dancing before her. Six...five...now the shapes were transforming into something else, something weird...four...three...two...one... now all she could see was her hand on the other side of the ball, what a strange feeling she thought her mind still clear.

She stoppped gazing into it, hearing voices coming from around her. She turned back to her crystal ball, breathin deeply, in and out. She began to see something fuzzy, like an animal or something waving at her. Or was that just her hand moving behind the ball? No, it was definitly the cloudy shape in the quartz ball before her. She looked closer, her breathing still under control as she gazed into it, her expression featureless now.

Cassandra turned and glared at Jasmine. "Yeah..." she growled. This girl was
going to get on her last nerve. She looked into her ball and said... "Oh Jasmine... where is Keller? It looks as if he's in my future..."

"Ok Bucky, close your eyes first. Breathe in. Think of Tag's eyes... and concentrate... let your mind wander." She said to her friend.

Casting her friend a curious look, Bucky shook her head ever so slightly. Think about Tagren's eyes. See, that's the thing. If she thought about Tag's eyes she wouldn't be letting her mind empty.

Still, she smirked. Closed her eyes and thought. And wondered.

"Good... now..." Cassandra whispered to her as Bucky had her eyes closed.

"Think of the color... look at it in your mind's eye..." She kept whispering to her. "Think of the pupil. Think of the darkness of it... think of the black..." She said.

Jasmine sighed at Cassandra's barb about Keller.Then she started to feel a little angry. Not so much at Cassandra, but her life in general. "Maybe he is Trelawney, and if he is I hope you make him happy, because if he stays with me he will probally end up dead. Just like my parents and just like me once they catch up with me."

Jasmine suddenly realized she had said more than she meant too. Professor Erikson had specifically told her not to talk about..what happened and her she was putting it all out there. Facing her crystal once again, Jasmine tried to focus and do what Professor Blaylock had instructed. She needed to find out if what she feared most was going to happen and if it was,she needed to figure out a way to change her fate and the ones she cared about most.

Celestina was nodding in accordance with everything Cassandra was talking. Until she began speaking of the pupil. Opening one eye, she stared at Cassandra with one green eye. "Why would I think of the black when the navy is so pretty?"

Then she heard Jasmine's outburst. Bucky stammered and stuck her chin out at Cassandra. "Maybe you should just leave her alone," she commanded herself to speak. "Blaylock is crabby enough we don't need to get in trouble."

Taking a deep breath she stared at the crystal ball.

No pupil. No pupil. No Tagren. Just. Clear. Shiny. Ball.

Marco gazed off into space, which was all he could do in these situations. He was never going to see anything but cloud in his crystal ball thingy.

Cassandra rolled her eyes at Jasmine. "Yeah... whatever..."

She looked at Bucky, was she taking up for Jasmine? "You are concentrating on the black because it will help. The navy's distracting." She said, "and I didn't start this with Kavanaugh... she did."

Still transfixed on her crystall ball, her eyes unfocused as she watched the shapes start to take place. She was totally focused on her task, seeing if anything would take form. She had some questions and wondered if they'd be answered by the reading of the ball. If not, then she'd have to take other action. Closing her eyes again he took some deep cleansing breaths and opened them to see the cloudy shapes again. Okay, so I'm not seeing things she couldn't help but think as she blinked and looked up suddenly.

Keller was looking into his crystal ball, being very bored and counting the seconds until class would end when he heard his name being exchanged between Cassandra and Jasmine. Neither had noticed him come into the classroom and he wasn't in the mood to start anything, especially in class, so he let them go on thinking he wasn't there. Until now.

"Talking about me girls?" Keller asked the two of them leaning forward smirking, his bright green eyes shining.

Cassandra turned about and blushed.

There was Keller... she wondered if he knew she and Alex had split. "I... saw your face in my crystal ball... I'm guessing it's your reflection." She turned and smiled at him.

Marco blinked back to Earth. There were Trelawney, Keller, and Jasmine talking. And when Trelawney is involved something isn't right. Using his crystal ball as a disguise, he sat and listened to the group.

Keller was hoping Jasmine would want to talk to him, seeing as they were friends and all, but he knew it was probably a long shot.

"Hm, are you sure you weren't just wishing I was in your future?" Keller teased Cassandra.

Celestina clutched her crystal ball closer and gagged at the exchange between Keller and Cassandra. This was bad as seeing Leo Moretti and Lua Stone flirt on the previous terms.

Bucky cleared her throat and fixed a dreamy look on her face. "I think I see something! Oooh--behind the clouds! What is that messy hair? I think it's your head Cassandra...and..is that Manly Man..."

Heh Heh Heh

Cassandra smirked. "Hmmm that depends," She turned to the Gryffindor boy and whispered, "Do you wish to have me in YOUR future?" Cassandra said. She liked looking into his green eyes... she waited for him to speak before turning around.

Cassandra heard Bucky and turned to her ball. "Where!?"

"You know, I'm thinking we're going to have to wait and see what happens, huh?" Keller responded to Cassandra, but glancing briefly at Jasmine.

Closing her eyes, Jasmine took several deep breaths and began to clear her mind as best she could. After about 5 minutes of just sitting and breathing the sounds of the classroom slowly began to fade away until all she heard was the sound of her breathing.

Now she began slowly counting from ten once more. Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four.... Jasmine suddenly felt very light and she tentalively opened her eyes to gaze at the crystal ball.

She saw clouds of white and blue swirling lazily in time with her breathing. Over and over they swirled until she saw them turn black and red for a split second then back to the blues and whites. This happened several times, each time it lasted longer and each time it was accompanied with a roaring that filled her ears.

Not realizing she what she was doing, Jasmine unconsciously covered her ears with her hands and her breathing started to come almost in pants. Leaning in close to the ball, Jasmine tried to look deeper into the now black and red clouds. Nothing. Her eyes were wide and she felt like something was there to see, but she couldn't see it.

Suddenly, there was a fleeting image and then it was as if the crystal ball exploded. Gasping, Jasmine jumped up quickley knocking her table and hence forth knocking her ball onto the floor. Bending to pick it up, she placed it as fast as possible on the table, not wanting to even touch the thing.

Crossing her arms in front of her, Jasmine tried not to think about what she thought she might have saw. All color was gone from her face and she looked quite stricken. She couldn't have saw what she thought she saw, she just couldn't have. Her mind must not have been as clear as she thought it was and her fears transferred themselves to her reading. Yes. Thats it! It had to be.

She was startled out of her thoughts by Keller approaching the table. She glanced at him like he had grown a second head. Realizing that she was acting strangely, Jasmine smiled wanly her hazel eyes still troubled,and said softly,."Hey Keller."

Keller heard Jasmine's voice say his name, and his heart skipped more than one beat. "Hey Jasmine." he smiled at her "What's going on?"

Marco noticed Jasmine sort of head into what looked like a minor shock attack. He ran to her side, "Jasmine are you ok?"
