Professor Blaylock paced in the centre of the circular room. Her hands were clasped together in front of her and she looked like she was a million miles away. But classes and schedules did not stop for personal issues. No matter how much she wanted to run down to the headmistress' office at that moment...the timetable detained her in this insufferable tower.
She looked up at the clock and frowned. The lesson would begin in a few minutes, and would end in an hour. Hopefully no chaos ensued today.

Katelyn skipped into the classroom, not in the best of moods she was pretty happy at the moment. She plopped down. Professor Blaylock looks like she needs a hug...hmm... she thought to herself as she glanced at the Professor and smile. She got out her books, and set them on her lap so she was ready to go!

And again he found himself in Divination. This was a pointless class, yet he always found himself here. Strange. Shrugging it off, he walked inside and raised a brow at the Professor. She seemed a bit... worried. Not that it mattered him, really. Taking a deep breath, Kingston nodded at the Professor as a hello and walked towards those...
Why could they not sit on chairs?! This was torture. Taking another deep breath to keep himself sane, he sat down on the bean bag. He was getting used to this, Kingston knew there was no point in arguing with his Professors. | |

Excelsior walked into the room calling out, "Good morning Professor Blaylock." He smiled as he took a seat. His smile immediately turned to a frown when he saw Cassandra there. He nodded toward her, trying not to show the pain her presence caused him. He had felt so badly for her yesterday, he had a feeling that that Xana girl definitely had a few cards up her sleeves and he knew that Cassandra knew this, too, she was a smart girl, after all. And here was Professor Erikson's wife teaching this class, awkward! Something was going on here at Hogwarts that he really didn't like.
Excelsior tried to put these thoughts out of his mind and focus on the lesson at hand. | |

Sam walked in to the class, an indifferent expression on his face, his grey eyes dull and bored. He usually didn't attend, the subject was a waste of time...but he had plenty of time to waste. Glancing around the classroom Sam almost rolled his eyes, the words "trying too hard" passing across his mind. Nevertheless, he set his bag down on the ground and took a seat towards the back.
Studying the professor of the pointless subject he was attending. Interesting. Sam's eyes narrowed, noting the distressed look in the professor's eyes. He wasn't the only one who didn't want to be here. | |

Kingston eyed the older girl. Why would she want crystal balls? Is she going to predict something? Snorting at the thought, he watched closely at the two. Even though he couldn't properly hear everything they would say, it would still be amusing to watch them both.

Walking into the classroom, Ari fel her mood shift from happy to annoyed. Why she had no idea, she was in a great mood, but every time she came in she felt moody.She put up her mental block, knwing it was going to be one of those lessons.
Seating herself in the back of the room, her legs crossed over eachother and chuckled, listening to Blaylock and Bucky taklk about crystal balls. She took out her qull, twirling it arounf her fingers as she waietd for lesson to start, feeling rather miffed about something she couldn't quite figure out.

Taken aback at Bucky's proximity to her person, Blaylock leaned back to be able to actually see the young girl's face. As it was, she could only see the nose and the large eyes.
"I think it's ridiculous, Bucky, I believe I've made that clear enough. Once the living cease to...well, live, there is no way for us to contact them." She said in what she hoped was a comforting tone. Merlin knows...she'd tried all sorts of methods to talk to her parents when she was younger.
Nothing had worked, she thought with a bitter smile.

Against her person, her lips drooped and her eyes became misty. She had only wanted two minutes. In fact, one would have done! But Blaylock insisted that it was impossible and it dawned on Bucky that perhaps Blaylock wasn't as invincible as she thought she was.
"I just--" She began but found her voice breaking so she dropped the subject as her bottom lip quivered slightly, and dropped her head just as quickly as she had let go of the conversation. | |

Patting the girl's shoulder awkwardly, Blaylock gently pushed Bucky off her lap and onto her own bean bag. "I know, dearling, believe me. You may discuss your predicament - whatever it may be - with me after the lesson."
With that, she stood up and faced the classroom with a small smile, "Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to yet another lesson in the tower. Today's lesson will cover a broader spectrum of Divination." She paused, took a look at the clock again and went on, "Scrying. Based on the last lesson, can anybody tell me what category this method falls under?"
