| | |  Divination Lesson Trois (that's 3 in case you didn't know *snorts*)
Professor Blaylock stood at the front of the class, nervously biting her thumbnail as she waited for the students to show up. The last time she taught this topic, she'd been all cool and smiles, but this time...she was prepared.
But once again, the cozy, circular classroom was gone. In the place of all the low tables and beanbags were long tables resembling muggle laboratory tables. On the front desk was a collection of jars...each holding a dark, solid substance.
The trap door was open beside the front desk, and Natasha waited and watched it. He hadn't shown up for the past few classes and she suspected that he'd dropped this lesson...but still, she watched for the curly, dark haired Ravenclaw.

Xana sighed and wrinkled her nose. She hated this form of divination, and wished she hadn't eaten after all. After a moment's thought, she rummaged through her school bag and pulled out two long silk hair ribbons. She quickly wrapped one very tightly around each wrist, placing the knot of each against her inner wrists.

She eyed the Slytherin girl who seemed to be just a bit too enthusiastic to start digging into the entrails. She shuddered at the thought...
"Erm...we wont be poking around in that mess for a while yet." She looked almost queasy at the thought. Oh no you don't, she told herself. This time she was determined to see this lesson through.
"Let's cover the theoretical portion first...Who can tell me where this method originated from?"

Now she had gotten herself caught in a self-righteous rant, "Who's sicker here, do you think? The person who's trying to teach you all a lesson, or the people who eat the animals who just wanted to frolick in the fields?"

Willow tied up her hair in a knot in the back of her hair. This was going to be bad enough without her hair getting, dirty, with animal organs. She wrinkled her nose in disgust, and looked back at the professor waiting for more instructions, without even looking at the jars.
Great, an animal defender, she thought as she watched a hufflepuff girl storming out of the classroom. She rolled her eyes at this little scene and looked back at Professor Blaylock. She did liked animals, but not to the point of leaving a classroom for them and most likely to get into trouble for defending them.
"It was common in acient Mesopotamian, Hittite and Canaanite temples" Willow said shooting her hand to the air after the teacher's question. Was she comfortable with comfortable with doing Extispicy?, No. But she knew that her level of discomfort wasnt going to make her sick.

Celestina's eyes widened. Apparently, Tag had seedlings in the school. Bucky pressed her lips tightly together, her usual method to stop herself from laughing. Bucky rubbed her cheek thoughtfully.
Bucky would have pointed out that Blaylock probably ate more than they did all combined by the look of her stout legs but decided to keep the comment to herself. The stony look on her face was a clear sign of annoyance. Yet...Bucky just had to...
"As long as we're stating opinions," she said loudly, adjusting herself in the seat in the back of the room. "I think organs are disgusting and should remain inside their owners but if you want me to butcher them in the name of Shady Science then I shall." | |

Kayla chuckled at the girl's outburst, some people just didn't get it. Her father had taken her out and showed her how the muggles slaughters the animals for the preparation of eating them. So she definitely didn't have a problem with it.
