It was a cool and blustery spring day, and in Professor Vindictus's mind it was decent weather to play Quidditch. He strode out onto the pitch with the equipment trunk levitated before him. The trunk was lowered near the center of the pitch and with a few flicks of his wand, it was unlocked to reveal the equipment for the game.
As the minutes passed, the stands became more and more crowded as the students showed up for the game that would determine third place and could possibly change the lead in the race for the House Cup.

In the stands, the announcer could be heard introducing the teams and the sky was soon filled with the dark green of Slytherin and the midnight blue of Ravenclaw. Looking up, Vindictus checked the names with the rosters and posted them for all to see:

Professor Vindictus nodded his head and used the Sonorus charm so that his voice was heard by everyone sitting in the school stadium. "Welcome to the Consolation Game between Ravenclaw and Slytherin!" The crowd went wild and it took them a few minutes to settle down. "Now both teams know the rules and I want a clean game from both teams - no hexing, setting brooms on fire, no excessive use of elbows, no invisibility cloaks, and no tampering with the equipment. Remember to play your positions and the game ends when one team has caught the Snitch three times." With a nudge, the Bludgers and Snitch were released into the air. Vindictus reached down and picked up the Quaffle. He quickly ended the charm and his voice was back to normal. "On my whistle . . . one . . . two . . . THREE!" A shrill whistle was heard and the Quaffle was tossed into the sky overhead.
Remember, the first Quaffle question of the game is for both teams' Chasers ONLY.
