Angel giggled, wondering what he was doing.
"What are you doing" she asked still giggling a bit.

Keller practically pushed himself through the portrait hole into the Common Room. His body was weighted with enormous feelings of sleepiness and sadness. He had searched every floor of the castle for Jasmine on his way up here with no luck. He was now even colder than outside when she had run from him by the lake, but this had nothing to do with the chilly late autumn air. When he went to remove his cloak was the first moment he realized he didn't have it. Flopping onto an empty couch he realized it must still be by the lake where it had fallen from his shoulders a bit ago. With no energy left to go and retrieve it, Keller pulled his feet onto the seat and laid his head back. With no conscious of it a single tear fell down his cheek as his tired head let him fall into a sad sleep with only one thought in his head, Where is she?

Aura jumped slightly as a girl talked to her. She'd been on the verge of falling asleep but smiled as she spotted a fellow First Year she'd seen around the Common Room a few time.
"Hello," Aura said, "I'm Aura. Sorry, I almost dozed off." She laughed, rubbing her eyes.

As she walked in she stared at the delicate mini cake in her hands. It was chocolate. It has very little frosting,way too many sprinkles and it was vegan. Promptly taking a seat, the red-head sighed and stared at it.

"Happy Birthday to good ol' me."

Having sat in the armchair by the far for quite sometime, and feeling considerably less tired, she decided to head off to the Lake - one of her favourite places in the whole grounds.
"I'm going to head off to the Lake," she said to Angel, "I need some fresh air. Feel free to join me!" She grinned and made her way towards the Portrait Hole and onto the grounds.

Taika Ai spotted Bucky not far away, looking at a pastry in her hand. She got up and hobbled over to Bucky and poke her on the arm, gently. "Hello," she said. She glanced at the pastry. "What's that for?" she asked, looking at the pastry questioningly.

Angel smiled "Yeah" and walked out with her.

Patrick entered the common room at full tilt. He spotted Bucky in an armchair and bounded over to her. In his hand was his chocolate and ice globe. "Bucky! Happy Birthday!" he said shrilly and dumped his gift in her lap.

Sam walked into the common room and flung himself onto the couch. Tired and wanting to go to bed but not wanting to get up he laid there. His mind was racing but about nothing too important.

"Hey, cake!" Aschere called out, as she came down from the dorm. "Yay let's celebrate!"

Sorry guys, I think I just lost us the gobstones match... I should have double checked my answer before posting, instead of resorting to rapid-fire.

Gwen posted the little notice on the notice board-

"Oi, fellow Gryffs!!

So I was in the entrance hall earlier and walked past the House hourglasses--Gryffindor is way in the lead!! We are kicking major bum. I propose a House party to celebrate our lead in points and in Quidditch! Anyone interested in helping, see me- Gwen Minton, first year"

"Bucky, it's your birthday? Yea!" Gwen waved her wand and golden sparks shot out of it. I'm getting good at this wand thing.... "Why the long face?"

"Oh, it's a birthday cake? Happy birthday Bucky!" Aschere smiled. "Why are you looking so down about it though?"

Aschere knew one party trick - and that was trailing confetti from her wand. It was practically her specialty. Within the next five minutes, the entire common room was filled with floating red and gold glitter.

"Let's make it a double occasion! Hey Gwen, count me in on the party planning!" Aschere yelled. "Sam, c'mon get up!"

Sleepily,Meg wove her way through the Gryfindors on her way to the girls dorm.She saw the notice and thought it would be a good idea.She made a mental note to talk to Gewn Minton about it and offer to help her the next morning at breakfast.

Keller walked into the Common Room only to find it completely empty. Good, he thought to himself, I don't feel like dealing with anyone right now. Sitting on a chair by the roaring fire, he checked his watch, Hm, kinda late, but oh well, I don't have anything pressing to do today. Sitting for a moment Keller tried to think to himself where Jasmine could be. She had said she wanted some space, but he did not know how much longer he could go without the two of them having some sort of progressive conversation. A moment later he decided she was probably in Hogsmead with everyone else. He pushed himself off the chair and headed upstairs to bathe and get ready.

A bit later, dressed in dark jeans, a white button down shirts, his Gryffindor tie, and a dark grey pea coat with a Gryffindor colored scarf he again entered the empty common room. He had done his best to look presentable, combing his short hair as best he could despite the length. After he again talked himself into going to Hogsmead Keller headed out the door and down to the town.

LATER that night:

Keller entered the Common Room with more thoughts flying through his head than he would have liked. He went up stairs and change into his grey sweatpants and a comfy white tshirt. A bit later he was back in the Common Room to see if Jasmine would come back. But before he knew it he was zonked out on a couch, wrapped in a large blanket, thoughts of the day swirling in his head, but only pictures of Jasmine.

Sam walked into the common room after a long day in classes. The day had only but begun but he was wiped out already. His head was hurting from thinking so hard. he laid down on the couch and tried to relax. Looking around he wondered when the party for the gryffindors would begin he was in a good mood and wanted to dance.

Isabeaux walked into the common room and read the notice. A party, how exciting. I hope there will be some people there that I know. It feels like I haven't talked to anyone in so long. she thought. Isabeaux made her way to one of the big fluffy chairs near the fire place. She flopped down into the chair, and pulled out her book. Isabeaux began reading intently, and listened to the crackle of the fire.

Jason Potter Weasley walks in and asks "Who's birthday?" " I need to have some fun after the long day I had around HogWarts" he said" "Angel, are you here?"

Sam walked into the common room and took a seat on the couch, looking around he didnt see anyone so he pulled out his guitar and began to play. It was a new song that he had just finished the day before.

Kerry walked into the common room to relax for a bit before heading out to quidditch practice.

Her ears perked up quickly, "Did I hear party?! I do have to admit, it's been rather quiet around here. A party would be just the thing to spice things up a bit." Kerry smirked. "Count me in! Who's with me??"

OOC:So...PARTY! We'll RP the party through this Sunday 12/2, to give the chance for a lot of us to come through and RP us a good time. Bring sweets, drinks, games, and oh yeah...drama! Can't have a good party without some drama. With that said, let the fun begin!

IC:

Gwen clambered through the portrait hole, arms and bag laden with butterbeers and the best sweets from Honeydukes. A bottle immediately slipped from her arms and fell to the floor with a crash, butterbeer spraying over the floor. She drew her wand with a flourish- "Reparo," she muttered towards the glass. She turned towards the common room and raised a fist of triumph.

"First broken object of the evening! We ought to keep a tally...."

Kerry had quietly disappeared for a bit without anyone even noticing. She returned to see Gwen dropping butterbeers on the floor. "What a waste of a good drink" Kerry laughed, "I could use that after the quidditch practice I just had." Kerry sighed plopping into a chair.

Looking around at how quiet the room is Kerry shot up in her seat. "Hey! I thought this was a party. I've seen funerals more lively people. Come on! Get up, mingle and have fun. Exams will be coming up soon and then we won't have any time to have fun!"

In the seven years she had known Jamie, Celestina Warbuck had learned a few tricks from him. One of them was the ability to charm the house elves to the point they were willing to give you the entire contents of the kitchen, cooking utensils and all.

Celestina managed to crawl backwards through the portrait hole, struggling at first to get the box over the small ledge. Having succeeded at that after several minutes of grunting, the red-headed seventh year dragged the box backwards towards the voices, one of which she recognized.

"I was told there was a party and I figured I'd bring goodies," she panted, releasing the box and placing her hands on her hips. "There are cupcakes, quavers, butterbeers, pumpkin juice, cookies, sandwiches--I think there is even pie. I'm not sure what Quirly shoved in there--Quirly is a house elf I'll have you know."

Bucky rummaged through her robes, her charm bracelet making a racket every time she moved her hand. "I have a pack of exploding snap I borrowed from Jamie and--I swear some foolish pin the tail on the Hippogriff thing."

Looking up after conjuring both things from the inside of her robes, Bucky smiled at Gryffindor Prefect. "Hiya Kerry!"

Kerry saw a student struggling through the portrait hall, but under all the things the person was carrying, it was hard to make the person out.

As she put down the goodies, Kerry rose to take a peek. "Oooh just in time Bucky! I knew I could count on you to get the party going!"

Kerry reached down into a box. "Sugar! I am loving Quirly right about now," Kerry mumbled as she bit into a cupcake. "Ahh, now this hits the spot." Kerry said as she savored the treat. Turning to Bucky "So how are you Bucky? What's new? I hardly see you around anymore. Your final year must be keeping you really busy."

As Kerry took the last bite of the cupcake, she looked around the room. "No decorations? No music? No dancing? This isn't quite a party yet. Care to do the honors Bucky?"

As Ryan pushed open the portrait, he noticed that some of them was trying to have a party but it didn't seems as thought it was really started. He did certainly need something to have fun but first he really need to get changed first. After the practice they had and the fact that he had push his team quite a lot tonight, this was his first priority. Quickly making his way toward the stairs, he made sure that he would do as fast as possible to be back, perhpas even bring some sweet of his own that he had in his trunk.

Celestina turned briefly towards the sound of a newcomer. "Hi Ryan!" She greeted as he walked towards them in his usual silence. "Bye Ryan!" Continued Bucky as he walked up the stairs, still silent. "He's so mysterious..."

"Anywho!" Bucky added turning to Kerry with a dazzling smile. "You know I can't miss a party plus what with the huge workload the Professors are giving us seventh years I think I deserve a break."

Bucky walked up to the nearest wall and pulled out a roll of spellotape from her robes and began attaching the badly drawn hippogriff to the wall. Its head resembled a misshapen pumpkin.

"You know! I only have time for homework and sleep and well--I have no choice but to tend to my girlfriend-like duties. Tagren is so needy." Bucky made it sound like spending time with Tag was hindering her fun. Which was fine by her. There was no need for anyone to find out what a sap she was. The Ravenclaw Captain knew and that was all that mattered. There was no need for the entire school to understand the depth of their relationship.

"Nooo decorations?" Bucky squeaked in shock having finished putting excessive spellotape on the paper with the wobbly looking hippogriff. "I'll fix that!"

She pulled out her wand and began conjuring streamers of red and gold which hung from the ceiling. Bucky couldn't charm anything to save her life or Transfigure a penny into a small mushroom but she was good at decorating. Maybe that whole Wedding Planner business could work out after all.

"Kerry mind pushing Dainsie's couch into that corner away from the fire?" She asked making a spot in the room glitter. "More room for dancing and less room for setting it on fire. Dainsie would kill me if I let her couch come to harm again."

Especially since it was her who harmed it the two previous times.
