Welcome to the Gryffindor Common Room! Boys dormitories are upstairs and down you your left, girls, the same on your right. You'll find all of your belongings have already been been brought up.
Here is the perfect place to relax after a hard day of school, study, trade chocolate frog cards, play exploding snap or gobstones and to just have fun with your friends. Please don't let it get too messy... | |

Alexis Chosen with walked into the Common Room with her puppy TK trailing behind and looked around. It was, or at least looked empty. Slowly walking to a chair, she sat down and picked up the puppy and put it in her lap. A faint smile appeared on her lips. It felt so nice to be back at Hogwarts she thought.

Sam walked into the common room to see somebody she recgonized. A smile burst onto the second year's face and she walked over to the girl.
"Hi Lexi!" she said and sat down in the chair next to her. A single piece of her reddish brown hair fell onto her face and she brushed it away. Letting go of the kitten in her arms, she redid her ponytail. After all the hair was out of her face, she noticed the puppy on Alexis' lap.
"You have a puppy! How cute!" She said and pet the small dog behind the ear. The puppy was really soft and she let out a giggle as the dog's whiskers tickled her fingers.

Sam stood up from her chair and picked up her bag by the portrait hole. She then walked over to the table and set the bag onto the chair next to her. She then sat down and took out a quill and a piece of parchment. Setting it in front of her, she began writing to her older brother, whom she missed very much, even though its only been a few days. He always left a couple of days earlier than her because he went to Drumstrang.
Towards the middle of her letter she felt something brush against her left leg. She dropped the quill on the table and looked down. Under the table, a black and white tail was visible swishing back and forward, hitting her foot. She smiled and picked up the kitten and set her ontop of the table. The kitten stared at her then began hitting at the quill on the table playfully. She let out a giggle and scratched the kitten behind her right ear.

Climbing through the portrait hole into his beloved common room, Shel brushed back his streaked-with-blue, messy, blonde hair and stifled a yawn.
Sitting down near the fireplace, he warmed his seconds in front of them for a second or two, drowsiness evident in his eyes. The cold and all the food he had consumed at the start-of-term banquet were beginning to get to him now.
Getting up, he ran a hand through his hair again, too sleepy to bother trying to comb it. He made his way towards the door of his dormitory and, within moments, had disappeared from sight.

Taika Ai entered the common room, slowly. She was so tired at this point that she didn't bother stopping and admiring the home-away-from-home she'd missed. There were quite a few people milling about in the common room, continuing conversations from the feast or starting new ones.
But Taika Ai was far too tired to cast a second glance at anyone-- even those she knew, which were only a couple.
She made her way to the stairs leading to the girl's dormitory and climbed, the call of sleep begging her to move just a bit faster. | |

Jay finally stumbled into the common room. "Blasted changing staircases." she mumbled and plopped down on the couch and took a deep breath. "I wonder where Alicia is?" Jay thought, "haven't seen her in ages!" she shrugged her shoulders and took Toby (African tree frog) out of her bookbag.
"You better not run off again!" Jay scolded him remembering how embarrassing it was running around the Hogwarts Express looking for a frog. "I won't come get you!" Toby responded with a ribert and a hop. Jay laughed and shook her head.
She put Toby back in his cage. Jay pulled a book out of her bookbag. She began to fell at home again. "This is a gunna be the best year yet." Jay thought smiling to her herself.

After aa long time heather snapped from the fire got up and decided to go for a walk around the grounds.Maybe visit the lake she thought.She Grabbed her bag holding her arts and walked siently out of the common room.

A fire burning, comfy chairs, study tables...everything was decked out in gold and crimson. Arden was eager to get to her belongings and she stopped gawking at the common room and headed up the stairs to the girls dormitory.

Sam walked up to the common room and sat down in one of the chairs. Relaxing a little he pulled out his guitar and began playing. it was a random song that was stuck in his head. As his hands moved over the strings he felt the music flow through him. His eyes were closed as he played. This was the most relaxed he had been in a while
Getting tired Sam put his guitar in its case and headed upstairs. Each step grew longer and longer as he walked

Sam walked into the common room with his towel still around his neck and his trunks still on. When he walked in he saw a girl sitting with her cat he gave her a smile as he walked over to the couch but before sitting down he took out his wand gave it a good chake and said a spell. Immediately he was dry and he had a pair of blue jeans and a T-shirt on with some DCs on. Sitting down he pulled out his guitar from its case and began to play.
