Amelia quickened her pace down to the area near the lake that Lainey had told the students to go for their meeting. She saw a bunch of students already gathered there with Doyle and Lainey, she hurried faster, but quietly too as not to disturb the group. As soon as she reached the group, she took a moment to catch her breath before slipping over to Lainey.
"Hello again Professor Lainey. Sorry I'm running a tad late; got held up in the halls." she sighed and then continued, "so what exactly is going on here anyway?"

Amelia heard Doyle speak up about helping redecorate someone's office. She didn't really know the exact details of this meeting, but she could deduce that it was a 'redecorating committee' being formed by Doyle and Lainey. Also, she had this hunch it had to do with the new Ministry Official, who was also her new temporary head of house.
Putting on her mischievous smile, she waved to the charms professor, "I'll help you Professor... with whatever you need me to." Then she whispered in Lainey's ear, "besides, no one would ever suspect a prefect."

Amelia took note of the special smile that Lainey gave her; she figured it was a very good sign that she was helping out with this 'project'.
She chuckled mischievously when Lainey said the last couple closing lines, and then told them all to do some homework. How typical of a Professor... homework? honestly, who could even think about that now with such excitement ahead? Just before heading back to the castle, she said one last thing to the Professors, "Oh thank you very much and I look forward to the owl." She grinned and then walked off, still smiling.

Excelsior's newly discovered sister, Monica, had told him there was something going on down here by the lake and that he could come down and help out. Excelsior had a good idea what they were going to be doing. He really wanted to assist on this project.
