A bit confused about the plot? Housemates talking about a mysterious something going bump in the night? Here's where you can catch up on happenings around the Castle, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade -- Out of Character of course.
That means that unless your student character heard this stuff from other students, your student character doesn't know about it.

I'm not sure if this is considered "News" (I'm new at School  ) But someone just started a Food Fight in the Great Hall. It started at the Hufflepuff table, and originated when a slytherin messed with one of the Hufflepuff couples, one of the Huffie's hit him in the face with mashed potatoes, and as a result of bad aim and bad behaviour- people are throwing food all over the place. | |

Yes, hun. That's considered news =)
Two Hufflepuffs have lost 10 points at the start of the feast.
Suzy (suzy18) has lost 5 points for throwing some potatoes. She did that while Professor Braxton Doyle (Biochemkris) was in front of her.
Amelia (hermi886) has lost 5 points for throwing a roll of bread that had landed on Professor Cassandra Rae's (Cassirin) plate.
The both had been told by Doyle to meet him in his office in the morning (meaning when the school opens) | |

Seen those invitations flying around Hogwarts? Well here's what they're about:
Professor Blaylock-Erikson (that's me) is holding a little (not so little) get together up in the North Tower on Friday. It's a tarot reading party and everyone will get a chance to have their cards read, or they can also attempt to read each other's cards.
North Tower = Divination Classroom area
Friday Evening = It will begin sometime this Friday, I'm not sure what time it is exactly, but don't worry as the thread will be up all weekend to give everyone a chance to participate.
Everyone is welcome, so don't be shy to just pop into the thread and say hello. Even if you don't want to have your cards read...come and enjoy the food and company! | |

There was just a bit of a scuffle between Leo Moretti (Hufflepuff) and Transt McFee (Slytherin) in the Fifth Floor Corridor, but Prof. Lainey put a stop to it right quick, docking them each 5 points each. "The fight was a bit out of the blue," said onlooker Faye Guidry, a 5th year from Gryffindor. Could there be more to thsi brief wrestling match than meets the eye?

The first astronomy class of the year didn't seem to go quite as planned.
Starting off well and man crawled into a cupboard during class, unnoticed by the rest of the class. He took his place near a few Ravenclaw students. No one knows why he was there.
Half way through the professor got the impression that Jocasta (hpfan142- that's me) was questions his authority and how to run his class and docked ravenclaw 20 points for it.
Soon after than man became noticed when a spider seemed to crawl onto his leg making him yell out and jump out from the cupboard near the students. The professor asked who he was and why he was there. He gave his name but then quickly ran off. | |

Pierre Montague has struck again in today's Quidditch lesson! At the beginning of class he sneaks behind a large photograph and watches the class quietly enough. Then, towards the end of the lesson when Professor Vindictus is about to start a fun a little Quidditch match he steals another student's wand (Prefect - Username: Loki) and jinxes one of the bludgers. The "rogue bludger" as the professor calls his slams through one of the many posters of him as a professional Quidditch player that are floating around the stands. Vindictus is outraged and blasts the bludger into oblivion. Pierre Montague sniggers at the chaos going around and slips out of class.
Who is this man? What is his purpose? Is he just fun and games? Or could have he actually hurt a student today with dark intentions!?
Kay: Actually, Pierre was lurking in a dark shadowy corner and 'borrowed' Gryffindor Prefect Kerry Brandywine's (shortfry) wand.

Professor Erikson found out from student Leo Moretti that he's real name was Drago Carracio. He's father Fransisco Carracio worked for some family members of Leo Moretti, thus getting him and his wife Maria De Luca killed.

Dani (heads01) has been causing annoyance all around the school, using the Imperius Curse on one student, and attempting to Imperio another. He seems to believe that he is Lord Voldermortist, and has used a snake to attack Eva (D/Hr4ever)
There was a large ruccus in the Orchard, where Cora-Blue Lattifa grabbed Dani to prevent him from using the Imperius Curse on her cousin, Rachel Malfoy. Cora ended up being bitten by Dani's snake, and the annoying little first yea (Dani, not Cora  ) was taken to Detention by Mr Borr.

Headmistress Rae arrived to the kitchen in search of her nanny to find it crowded with curious faces. Though Headmistress Rae was feeling just as sad as Professor Branxton! =(
