As you walk through the door, you see an empty classroom. Most unusual seeing as Professor Pride was not in her usual spot, sitting on her desk Indian style. Come in and take a seat, I'm sure Professor Pride will be along shortly.

Looking at the textbook in front of her and thought of what to change it into soon settling upon a simple quill. "Frabricia Quill!" she said firmly. Before her eyes the book turned into a parchment colored quill as she realized she hadn't focused hard enough. Let's try this again, she thought as she moved her wand. "Frabricia book!" this time she said it with a bit more feeling and it returned to it's original state.

Curt had, to be completely honest, had already read through this chapter and had performed this spell before, but it was nice to hear it from a teachers perspective. Something about transfiguration really facinated Curt, it was by far his best subject. He then pointed his wand at his empty bottle of ink and said "Fabricia Goblet" and watched as a magnificient silver goblet was morphet from a glass ink bottle. He then looked at it suspiciously with an eyebrow raised, he looked over to the Professor and raised his hand. "Uh, Professor. Is this just kind of a general, brand of magic or something? Because, I know another incantation that transforms things into goblets. Is one more powerful than the other because it is used on merely goblets, or are the basically same thing working for the same cause?" said Curt look at his goblet suspiciously.

Daphne stared pointedly at her orange and silver object, which used to be a hair clip, but was now something between that and a bracelet. "Better finish the job," Daphne said to herself. She placed all her concentration into correctly transfiguring the object. She said quite clearly, "Fabrica Bracelet" and pointed her want directly at the object. All of a sudden it morphed into a rather attractive metal bracelet. "Ooh!" Daphne exclaimed. She felt very good about herself.

Elina finished writing down the spell, and went to grab an item out of the box. She reached her hand in and pulled out an oblong metallic item. She looked sternly at the paper clip. "Fabrica sickle!" Elina wondered if it would work on money. The paper clip filled itself in with silver, and made itself more circular. Just as it was going to start engraving itself, it shuddered, and then stopped. Elina looked at it sideways, and then, even more sure of herself than before, muttered, "Fabrica Sickle!" Elina smiled as the engravings scratched themselves into the surface of the metal coin. Elina happily placed the sickle into her bag, and picked up her quill. "Fabrica Firebolt" Elina looked down at the quill, only now it was wooden, and had twigs rather than feathers."Fabrica Firebolt!!" Elina watched as the twiggy quill grew and changed. Soon she had a genuine firebolt sitting in front of her. Elina wondered if the teacher would let them keep the things they transfigured. Elina pulled out a roll of parchment next. "Fabrica Quill" Elina was elated when it automatically narrowed and grew into a feather quill, even nicer than the one she had before. Elina noticed a few of her peers with their inkwells out. She pulled hers out, and once again practiced her spell. "Fabrica Sickle" Elina watched it turn into a silver sickle, even better than the first. Elina then tried to turn it back, but instead of finite, she used "Fabrica Inkwell" Elina watched her inkwell reappear, but with silvery opalescent ink instead. She wasn't sure how well this would write on parchment, but she didin't care. It was too cool. She put the inkwell back into her bag, and waited for another thought to come to her.

She began her nose pressed against the desk once more staring at her minituare broomstick in front of her. "Is the objuect supposed to be the size of a toothpick as well or it's real size?" She asked.

Ginny waved her wand very carefully "fabricia quill" she watched her toothpic change into a beutifull golden quill "wow" ginny muttered under her breth. She stared at it in awe for a moment before desiding to change in again, she continuied her practise.

Evan grabbed his wand, waving it he said strongly "fabricia quill" Almost immediately the toothpick began to turn into a quill. "Yay!!" he yelled and punched his hand in thin air. After a week of practicing at home and blowing up toothpicks he had finally done it.

Meritet was a bit shocked. Her first year at Hogwarts, her first official class, and already there were students losing points for their houses. Her first teacher was a strict one, and Meritet wasn't about to play games. She spotted Carolyn and Diabolica already deeply focused on their switching spell practice and was very impressed by their humble accomplishments. "What to switch..." Meritet rummaged through her backpack trying to find something she wouldn't miss if she 'blew it up.' Her tutor, Vera, had taught her this spell, but Meritet didn't practice with it much. She was unsure how she would measure up to her house-mates.

She found a new pencil she had bought at Diagon Alley at the bottom of her backpack. She broke it into seven small sections, intent of making little wooden charms out of each piece. All that remained now was to choose the shape each piece would take. Meritet waved her wand over the first piece and and evenly intoned the words: "Fabrica Wand." The first piece of the former pencil turned into a miniature replica of her mother's wand. this surprised Meritet, for she had not realized until she saw the finished product that she had been thinking of her mother and how much she had always admired her mother's wand. It was all white with a silver filigree design adorning the handle. The charm was an exact replica, except it had a carbon core.

Meritet smiled and continued 'switching' the other six pieces. One was turned into a miniature broom, a hat, a cauldron, an owl (her own, Pepper), and a black snake. She then pulled a string and switched it into a small chain in the Slytherin House colors. Meritet weaved all the little charms together and then turned the metal piece containing the eraser into a clasp for the new bracelet. In moments it was all done. She put the new jewelry on her wrist and was pleased with the look of it. She was sure it would bring her good luck, and maybe, just maybe win back some house points that were lost earlier.

Ashley took out a pen that was she found a while ago. Thinking it looked cool at the time. Focusing hard she said "fabricia quill" strongly and her pen turned into a dark blue quill. She smiled to herself and looked satisfied.

Chris was trying hard to make his pen turn ito a quill, like he had just seen Ashley do, but he couldn't get it fully. It kept going into a half pen half quill. "Fabricia quill!" he said forcefully. A small pop was heard and the pen went on fire, and became a liquid of plastic. "Aww man, not another pen." he said grumpily taking out another pen, starting to try again.

She did the motion and said "fabricia quill"
the pen turned into a quill she had to tell herself not to jump up and down

Katie heard the person near her wasnt very pleasent. She got out her third pen, Katie consentrated very hard this time. Katies wand was at the ready and sha said " Fabricia quill!" It finally worked.!!!. she was so happy. Katie said "third time is always a charm."

Looking over, Chris saw a guy mouthing to the teacher, and then walking out, but forgot his things. So he went over to his things, focused completly on what he wanted before saying "Fabricia rat!" To his utter amazment the kids stuff turned into a few rats and were scarmbling over the desk. Quickly and quietly Chris walked away, hoping not to be seen.

Megan decided to give it another shot pointed her wand at the book and concentrated as she said "Fabricia Quill." the book transfigured into a Bright pink quill. Megan giggled a bit as she commented, "Well I was going for a little less shocking pink but hey at least this time it is a quill."

Mystie sat for a bit looking at the thimble that she got from the box, thinking on how Fabricia is pronounced. If you do not get it right it well not work. Then she said ' fab-reek-eeah ball of yarn', it turned into a roundish shape, fabricish, stringy ball that looked like it was going flat. Mystie could not help but to laugh.

"Yes it is a general spell. The more specific ones are more powerful, but also more dificult." Danni replied with a nod.

"It should be about the size of the object you began with, with a slight fluctuation if they objects are close in size. Thought a powerful witch or wizard could probably manage to make a bigger size difference possible."

"Detention" Danni stated plainly, "You little brat." she muttered under her breath. Turnig back to her class she muttered to a few older students, "I wonder if he realizes a blood-traitor is a pure-blood, which I am not. Foolish child." she said shaking her head.

Audrey sat quietly in her seat, her transformed quill in front of her. She stared in awe as a Slytherin boy walked out of the class after talking back to the teacher. She really felt bad for the Professor; how she put up with all of these kids, Audrey did not know.

Trying to show the professor that not all children were incredibly disrespectful, she gave her a sympathetic smile and said, "I think this is quite interesting, Professor; Transfiguration is a fascinating subject in my book. Anyway, do you want us to continue practicing this spell or should we move on once we've got it?" She smiled again.
